    This controller is fantastic. For someone who owns a CDJ/DJM NSX2 setup, I take this controller out more than I do with the Pioneer stuff. This controller in a Pro-X X-DNMC4000LTBL case weighs about 35 Lbs, The pioneer equipment in my case weighs about 100+ pounds. I use this controller with Traktor and it works fantastic. This is all you need. You're not getting a controller with XLR outputs for this price point. Get this controller, the sound quality is superb and you won't be disappointed.

    I have owned this controller for 5 years and it still functions like new. I am very happy with it. It has all of the functions you could ever want. I am a very happy Denon DJ user.

    I'm so glad this review came out. I was looking at this as an alternative to the DDJ SR.

    Looks a few steps above a Pioneer DDJ-SB. Great review Mojaxx.

    I've been looking at a bunch of controllers and I think this one is the best value for me, a trade off between buying a no frills budget model and the higher end models that have built in DVS support which Serato certainly charge a premium for. I would be inclined to eventually add the Reloop Neon to enhance it's SP6 slicing, looping and fx capabilities with its larger RGB pads also being great for finger drumming and if I want DVS later on, the Denon DS1 would be the best option for me. Thanks for the great video Mojaxx.

    Just got this as my first controller ever (coming from Techs/DJM-900) for Christmas and I'm enjoying it so far. Really, the only downside I can think of is that the soundcard has no inputs. Awesome no frills controller imo

    Denon really dropped the ball on this unit as far as there is no master level meter read out like the MC3000 has. I've done a couple events with this unit and I barely have it that loud in the meters easily bleed into the red. From what I have learned, the meters only work off the gain levels, which easily bleed into the red, which makes it impossible to monitor your loudness. My MC3000 never came close to the red on the meters, probably because that unit has a master switch on top of each meter channel.

    • @donaldccannon1
      @donaldccannon1 Před 5 lety +1

      I have both. I can tell you this i bought the sb3 first. It will take some time to adjust. The one thing inca saybis inuse both. Serato n vdj. And i run it from laptop. The sb3. Will miss up on. Serato. No matter. Even if you put it to 20 for the latency. But with the denon it works. Well and hardly ever. Messes up. When using the. Fx maybe thats because it has its own software. The sb3 has its own cue n play. But thats not a deal breaker you will get used to it i got becuse i didnt want to carey around a mixer. So thats why i got the mc40000 plus its xlr. To xlr

      Hi there! I am about to buy, but I read somewhere, and even saw a video, where they say, that the level meters are pretty awkward.. how can you monitor the channels and the master? what is your experience on that?
