And they switched driver's, driver parks up then gets out the passenger front door then gets in the passenger rear
My clip at 3.10 , the guy claimed it wasn’t his fault, but the young girl in the car from the right won her case because of my footage👍

Terry Hogan pretty easily, just tell the insurers that she ran the light and he didn’t? Without the dash cam evidence, it’s hard to prove either way

7:51 you're meant to slow down coming up to a roundabout.
Only enough to give way to the right, the camera car didn't fail to give way, the car entering in front of him did. That very old and very wrong idea that give way doesn't count on roundabouts just because cars from the right haven't entered yet needs to die already. It never was the law and never will be.
You can not legally go at a roundabout so fast that you can not give way to the right (anything and everything from the right, including some one coming up fast from a joining road) or so fast that you can not go around it, if you go slow enough for both of those and some one enters in front of you then it is their fault.
Defensive driving says expect every one to be a cunt and will go if they can fit their car and a hat so slow way down unless you want a new car on the cunts insurance.
@@Beyondact But Exildur didn't slow down at all. They sped up to almost 29mph at a mini roundabout. If defensive driving is about assuming everyone else is a cunt, then they would have been more sensible on approach. Too many people assume it's their priority and speed towards roundabouts, but if someone else from their right also came speeding up because THEY assumed it was their priority, then neither would be able to stop in time. Defensive driving means that you are trying to protect the space around your car, so slowing down when approaching a roundabout is far more sensible than assuming you have priority.
correct should be 10-15mph on mini roundabouts
unless you have a dash cam then the rule is to drive into whatever is in the way

Would highly recommend a Dashcam. I've been involved in a crash only once and I must say it was 100% my fault... I had only passed my test 4 weeks before so I was very new to driving alone, couldn't react to a situation a more experienced driver would have been able to and went into the back of a lorry on a roundabout. I was doing under 5mph but lorries really don't move when you hit them... £3500 of repairs later (to my mum's car as well, so double the trouble for me!) I've definitely learnt my lesson. That was nearly 3 years ago now but since then the number of close calls I've had that weren't my fault is insane! A lot of blind corners on my commute to work and the number of times I've come round one and been head to head with a car on my side of the road is mental! But the dashcam got them all and if anything had come of it I would at least have evidence to support me
I’ve seen so many DPD vans on these videos - I wonder if the company are aware what a lot or dodgy drivers they have?

Was a great video but to be honest it is what every normal everyday dash cam upload should be and not a special. Sadly though now days everything is uploaded from everyday tiny things that no one usually takes any notice of to even smaller things seen on dash, that this video does indeed seem a dash cam special!

That's by design...
That's why you're more likely to survive an impact or have less injury in a modern car. The car takes and absorbs the energy, not your body. The crumple zones are design in these days.
Laws should be amended worldwide to state that dash cam footage of this nature can be used to, other than prosecute, ban individuals from ever driving again.
Some of these are so bad, i fail to see how they are just 'mistakes' or a lapse in judgement/attention

People are so impatient these days on the road. Just this morning I was sat at a red light, the second it turned amber the driver behind started beeping at me, didn’t even get a chance to take my foot off the brake. I’ve only been driving a few months and have p plates but 🤷🏻♀️
The driver behind you probably did that on purpose, I may advise you to take them off👍 some people are just dickheads💯

he got hit from behind and his car was so beat up the only door that worked was the left passenger door
the other car that hit him got caught on fire but luckily all people survived

The guy in the first crash...ehem ...scam was so prepared he had C-spine X-rays in hand as he got out the car !
5.22 Colin R moves into left lane at bifurcation arrow, presumably intends to turn left at roundabout. Rules about overtaking on the left seem to imply, queues and slow moving traffic. So I put it that he is driving too fast for the rules. It is very dangerous at junctions where one motorist is travelling a lot faster than everyone else and intends to race through a junction. If he had been moving slowly he would have noticed the "Keep Clear" section and dealt with that safely.and coped with the obvious traffic turning right across the lanes. This feature is not going to be easy to spot when travelling fast.

I was once on a Devon road like that. I was in a big van and came across an old guy in a small car. I could see that he had just passed a gateway about 100 yards away but it would have been quicker if I'd reversed half a mile to my next opening! He was making such a hash of reversing back! I felt sorry for the guy in the end!

Defo crash for cash in first video. I went through this 6 months ago and unfortunately didn't have dash cam to back me up. They won the 30k they claimed in injuries for a collision in a car park not even as fast as the one shown here :/
An employee of mine scrapped a parked car. We got a claim for damages plus 5 claims of whiplash. Damn car was empty / parked and the owner in bed! However, the owner was of Pakistani origin. Not sure if that's relevant.

6:36 is the cross roads outside my village, always crashes there
The driver should have steered the car left or keep straight, one thing you don't want is a head on crash plus tree on right side, if you know your going to crash keep the car straight and max brake if you steer the computer takes over and braking distance goes up
Yeah that is a crossing I always approach with extra caution no matter which direction I'm going (though often it's the same as the cam vehicle)

Drivers trust that other drivers will do what they are meant to, but watching this it clearly shows you can not assume and trust the other driver to be in the right lane or stop when they should. You have to think about not only how you drive but how others drive to.

Most of these clips show that the cam car could've avoided the whole situation with more observation and quicker reactions than a drugged sloth. Jesus effing wept! How did these people pass a driving test?
Shouldn't be on the road, ban them, ban tractors ban lorries, make push bikes compulsory and make them pay road tax and plow the fields with cows and while we are at it ban motorbikes too. In fact just ban roads altogether then we won't have all these problems. In my day we had to walk everywhere and sometimes by the time you got where you were supposed to be going you'd forgotten what for and had to start a new life as a shoeshine just to earn enough money to eat and would probably never see your family again. Bring back the old days I say, I didn't live through two world wars to hear rap music everywhere you go. The only music we had was an old tin and a stick and it beats any of this rubbish now adays.

That was a drunk driver from Bexhill-on-Sea, the original video showed her driving for miles before crashing!
@@kavyman1066 That explains it. I have no sympathy for people who get into accidents because they were stupid enough to drive drunk. My grandad was killed by a drunk driver before I was born so even when I had only just started learning to drive, my mum constantly stressed the importance of not driving while drunk. I have vowed to never drive if I've been drinking, even if it was only a sip of alcohol. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if I killed someone because I was drunk.

In the UK it's not the fast lane, it's only the outside lane (or lane 3 / lane 4), the law allows prosecution for lane hoggers not moving over fortunately

People who get caught out intentionally causing accidents on camera for insurance scam purposes should be given heavy sentences for the risk they put innocent road users in they often brake check people that can cause huge multi car pile ups! Unfortunately ecen rapists and career criminals are given pathetic sentences in the uk..even if scammers are busted they get a slap on the wrist ! I'd suggest a big FRAUD Stanp in their record so insurance costs them a ridiculous amount but most of these leeches drive round without insurance anyway the only time they actually get insured is to scam innocent road users 🙄
