The trackpad on the K600 is absolutely awful. I'm searching for a replacement. Thinking about the Rii x8.

The one in the thumbnail, which isn't even in the video for some reason, is the Corsair K83, and it's the best one of all. Only downsides are the round touchpad, and it's micro USB instead of USB C. But to my knowledge, there isn't a USB C keyboard available at all yet, which is baffling since it's been the standard for some time now. It does, however, have very conveniently placed alternate mouse buttons, which none of the ones featured in this video have. It's also backlit and configurable.

I own the Corsair K83, it's hot garbage, over priced when released, now the price has more than doubled, you're an idiot if you spend anything over $40 for this junk.

@@breadfan_85 the logitech K830 is very nice, only reason I stopped using mine is cause the usb port broke after extensive use. The only thing I would say is better about the K83 is the aesthetic, the volume wheel is nice, but they had to ruin it by making the wheel too loose and the click to mute too stiff, so you mute it and as you lift your finger the wheel rolls ever so slightly and then unmutes. As far as the worst part about this keyboard, it's the software, avoid the Corsair K83 like the plague.

@@Persnoody the k830 is actually what I owned just prior to the k83. They each have their advantages, but for me, those of the k83 far exceed those of the k830. And they actually retailed for the exact same price on release, and are both out of production and selling now for close to three times their retail price, so you're not really making the point there that you think you are lol.

@@breadfan_85 I really only commented to scare people away that are thinking about getting the K83, while at the same time agreeing with the video creator's choice to leave the keyboard out of the video. I can spit a few cons tho, there is no good place to pick the keyboard up one handed, it either hurts or you have to balance it while awkwardly avoiding coming into contact with these very responsive keys, I like the keys for typing, but not on a "portable" product like this. The touchpad is too small, but in turn keeping in line with the round pad left and right click could be in a more ergonomic location, like up around the bottom edge of the ring, the buttons as they are come off as lazy on an otherwise visually thought out design. With that said there's too much light bleed from under the keys. I already mentioned the counter intuitive volume wheel and the god awful software, honestly with software this bad it should be in the auto fail category, you already know how bad it is, it's irrefutable. This keyboard was only made to look nice, and I'm reminded every day how I fell for it, I am truly mad, not at you tho, please understand that. Also Corsair wouldn't RMA it, I'm sure you're familiar with how easy it is to mess up the firmware on the keyboard, I followed every step, it wasn't user error, they left me on my own, and I can't forgive that, so the last con can be that is was made by Corsair. Fun fact: I'm still using a series 1 Force 3 SSD from them.
p.s. I wouldn't pay asking price for the K830 rn either, I like that keyboard much more, but there's no way in hell it's worth that much, but idiots will pay that much, hence why I need to spread the good word of staying away from the K83
