- I’m sure we’ve all been in a save where we might not be able to afford the best available youth scouts. Whether its because you splashed the cash on a superstar, or because you’re in the 4th division, im sure there is one thing we’ve all wondered. Is that youth scout actually worth it or should i just save to get a better one instead.
Well today i’ve done another youth academy experiment to find out exactly what scout is the most cost effective, if its ever worth getting a 1 star scout and a few other small parts about the youth scouting system on FIFA 23. Folllow this guide and you'll be finding fifa 23's best young players easily.

Videos like this would be better if you presented little summaries of what you're saying on screen, rather than random footage from career mode. For example, charts of the average platinums per season, etc.
(This might come across as sounding harsh, but I'm not trying to be. Definitely appreciate the info and the effort you put in!)
Constructive criticism is the key for improvement. Much better to have comments like this than being a yes man.

used to send 1 star scouts to Australia as part of a realistic a-league career mode. I just checked the scout report at the end of the season. literally got players that went on to become 94 rated. the youth academy is ridiculously OP
I think dynamic potential is the main issue here!
@@zesarsalat6109 nah these guys already had good potential but that's defiantly part of it I agree. dynamic potential is so OP yet they literally make it impossible to get a full 99 rated team which I find quite funny
I got absolute gems from Australia, ALOT of pure centre midfielders which is rare from the YA
6’2, 19, 64 rated
High 60 strength
High 50 defending
High 60/low 70 passing
High 50 finishing
I’ve struggled since that save to get decent midfielders from the academy, think I’ve had 1 who ended up being a squad player, the rest are regens
it isn't really just youth academy... I haven't played FIFA for many, many years now, but still watch some videos when I'm bored. Fifa was already extremely easy back then, I could make nations like Venezuela become power houses in just a few years and getting a 4th division team to the champions league title was never a challenge, just a matter of time; but from what I can see in videos I watch currently, it's even easier now. I see a bunch of youtubers doing "challenges" like "lets get this 45 rated fella to 99 overall!" and you already know from the beggining that they will probably succeed and, if they don't, they'll get really close. Fifa career mode is just the supreme easy mode. I'm the kind of person who likes to play games in easier difficulties and prefer roleplaying and narrative games, because I'm into it more for the fun and "telling a story" than the challenge, but this is too easy even for me.
@@brittlediamond it’s so fucking boring hey. I’m the same, I’m more into creating storyline’s and stuff, but what’s the point when every save, no matter the club, you’re invincible with millions in the bank by year 3😂
If you don’t micromanage yourself through every decision, then it’ll lose it’s fun after 1 season😅

I enjoy getting lower level ranked youth scouts. FIFA is a very easy game if you have 5 star scouts
Depends a 1 star scout can bring about 2 players with decent potential the rest are players you can sell 5 star scouts bring more world class players but I recommend going to free agents and picking up the people with green stats.
😂😂 that was 100% my go to when I was a kid making ridiculously OP teams. Full subs and reserves full of 80+ rated big name players who are past their prime lol

I recently started a "Create a Club" Save, starting in League Two (ENG) and sent a 3star/2star scout to Cameroon. Looking for physically strong players. In his second month he found an absolute wonderkid, however no physical one. :-) A 17 years old LW with a OVR of 70 and a POT of 80-94. Absolutely insane, but on the other hand way to overpowered for a League Two team.
I forget how broken this game is. You can’t even scout a specific type of player, the game just gives you a winger when you want physically strong😂😂 what a mess lol

My scouts won't work. I am trying to get an Irish center back so I got a 5 star 5 star scout and put him out for 9 months on physically strong. after a year and a half of scouting I have been getting a couple not great center backs, but mainly cams and wing backs which are not classified as physically strong or particularly great. All worth about 1.4 mil
1 stars make the game more realistic in my opinion
If you want good youth academy players, then just save scum your scout reports.
One time payment for scouts is ridiculous. There should be some kind of upkeep every year for these or else it's easy to just get all the 5 star ones and that's it. Your budget then just all goes to buying players.
Yep. 1 time payment of about 4m, and you’ve set yourself up with lucrative youth players for the rest of your save. Keep in mind you can make this 4m back in about 1 scout report😂
Imagine they grew with you or something, every time one of their youth players got promoted/played well, it gave them XP.
I might do a create a Club career mode and it’s gonna be called Mexico Fc and I’ll put them in Spain 2nd division start off as a rtg Team

I used to play Master League on PES6 with Liverpool and that was last time I played Career with that GREAT team such as LFC. And that happened like 15 years ago..yeah I was kid.
Since then I play FIFA and my biggest club was Frankfurt or West Ham in Career Mode. Never signed top players,and believe me or not I won Champions League ONLY 2 or 3 times in my Career Modes history lol.

Morecambe: Bring glory to the coats and win there first trophy 🏆 and bring players to the beautiful beaches.
Win morecambe a prem then go to Crewe Alexandra or even the other way round
Go for a papa johns trophy with a created club called Pizza Hut FC.
Those videos are great man. But tbh , all those strategies to keep the game mode alive are worthless i guess. Because you can actually build a DESTROYER team with only FREE AGENT players who are going Regen itselfs, or idk, maybe Kevin De Bruyne, Kanté, Salah, and a lot, lot players who become free agents for whole seasons and nobody reclaim them.
Career mode is as broke as always, even if its the better career mode till now.
