This is extremely useful when it comes down to such details. I have been trying to build a team strictly with a youth policy to increase the challenge. One point about having a high potential players with their current overall standing at 40 plus ratings, it pays off to be patient and moulding them with different development plans while they are in the youth academy.
That’s me rn.don’t wanna play fut so im chillin playing career mode now and I want to build a team with young hidden gems but also have high potential but don’t have many tbh lol

One thing I always like to do is accept an International Managers job from a not so good country (like India or something) then scout that country and put the players in your youth academy...even without signing them to your first team right away you can still call them up to International Duty :) great way of improving the players and also those Countries International Squads!

Scouting Japan for defensive minded I got 57 ovr CB, still in the academy at 15 but looks like a future star defender, probably the physically strong template though. But, it was a great defensive find and will generate a a huge payday when he moves on from Sunderland..
I don't know what you mean, this new coat of paint over the exact same old features and menus from years ago is definitely worth £60+

Once got a Brazilian beast CAM. Came in as 69 rated at 15(!) and when I could bring him up to the first team he was 74 rated. 83-92 potential. Complete domination in league one.

Picked a winger up from my YA on my current wrexham rebuild and he started low 60s, middle of the first half of the third season and hes 80 OVR atm, honestly cant remember his price or potential range when hired but either he was a solid pull or if diynamic potential has helped out (hes been a top performer ever season at his position in our leagues, started in EFL 2 and currently in EFLC) but either way hes been my best YA player so far, possibly ruined a few due to dynamic potential before i knew about it though...
I run Aranaktu's server. As of Day 0 mods are not going to happen unless he can find a work around. Without mods I cannot find enjoyment in FIFA. I never even used the gameplay ones, just database editing to unbreak EAs disastrous coding. I purchased 23 FIFA games in a row (not including spin offs like world cups or street), I think this maybe the end of my football game streak :(
I have not slept in the past 36 because I have been playing FIFA 23 non stop looking a flaw in the game, however I genuinely have not been able to find 1!

Not to mention the YA scouting network costs are cheaper the transfer fee costs buying players on the market.
When you say recall them before the end of each season? Is that you doing it yourself or letting the game do it? Because if you loan them out before the start of the season they return anyway before the start of a new season
It's Insane how you still CANNOT scout a certain specific position ( besides Goalie) . AND why are we still limited to only THREE scouts?
Going to be unstoppable if they put more then 3 scouts

@@TubesForNoobs You can't have more than 3 youth scouts or scout specific positions with any mod on PC so your point is incorrect.
@@mauleymaule he said more than one thing. Secondly, you’d be limited to 3 but with mods you can get 15 players per report, you can edit all their stats and traits, you wouldn’t need more than 3, you wouldn’t even need more than 1. So my point still stands.

I always just send my best scout to Northern Ireland to try and make a team to win something still haven’t done it euros semi final as far as I’ve ever got
Defensive minded did bring me CB you just have to turn them into CB. Takes 2 weeks. Same with attack and strikers.
Loan listed players under 23 or so should be protected from dynamic potential. Easy fix EA, please do something!

Where are the best countries to send 5*scouts eveytime I look for a video I find an idiot explaining how to send scouts but not where is the best players surely it can't just be down to luck any ideas

I'm a bit confused. If I just leave my youth players in the youth academy do I need to re-sign them to keep them for multiple years? Are you saying I should loan them out instead of keeping them in the academy?
Keep them in the academy for as long as possible, they will develop there as if they are getting game time. I normally bring them into the squad and loan them once they’re either a decent rating (65+), they reach 17/18 or they become unsettled. This also prevents you from maxing out your 52 player squad limit too quack
If you let the scouts observe the youth players 3 months you have a more accurate potential stats.
Im still curious why countries like Mali, Senegal and Congo are still not on the scouting map. Licensing issues ?
You don't need a license to include a country in the game, I just think they haven't bothered to add because you need naming pools and such which is more effort than the bare fucking minimum.
@@serg9320 which is surprising because naming pools for some of the countries overlap anyway. They included Moldova (for whatever reason) being functionally clone of Romania, but they cant even do a half assed copy of Cameroon and name it Senegal ..

When loaning out is it best to loan for 2 years?
If you sub them on in the 80th minute they will probably get a match rating below 6.0 which absolutely ruins them because of how stupid dynamic potential is done in this game

@@xawee7254 yup, I play on Legendary so it super rare to keep a clean sheet, and I normally skip to result if I’m leading 3-0 and ALWAYS concede in the simulation… so dynamic potential always screws the defenders which is so annoying…

Dynamic potential, can someone explain how this affects a youth academy player please, and how best to work with it
If a young player starts every/a lot of games in a season, the following season you check their potential by going to squad hub and looking at their status. If it says potential to be special, loan them and they’ll grow by around 10 overalls in a season.
If it says an exciting prospect play them every/alot of games that year too and it should say potential to be special the following season.
If it says anything else they’re a bust.
It can be difficult to get loans without a buy option with lower rated players so I cut them from the academy if they’re lower than 60 as the 65+ players loan very easily
Thanks, got a 16 year old who started at 61, ended 1st season at 70 just from playing him in all of Liverpools cup games, 2nd season played 15 gone up by 5 already, couple of similar players with the same stats too, whatever im doing seems to be working 🤷♂️

its disgusting how little effort ea puts into cm every year interface looks exactly the same as last year the game looks exactly the same as last year if they put as much effort as they do in fut cm will be a better game but ea don't give a toss about its playerbase unless they are opening packs

there isn’t necessarily a most effective one. you just have to apply the one which upgrades the players weak points which may be needed in their position

The only thing that is annoying is when you get a player into a acedmy and they are only 17 yrs old and demand a contract or they will leave smh no player at 17 has that much power to do that and so unrealistic. I understand if player was 20-21 but not at 17-19 yrs of age

I dunno if it's linked to the -1 sharpness bug which is all over this year's career mode, but pretty much every youth player (maybe even all players?) seems to have massive potential nose dives when you roll into the next season. I played a career mode and played the youth players in pretty much every game and ALL of them had a potential downgrade (as in the text changed). Seems the only way to maintain it is to loan them out for years or release and re-sign them later. Finished my first season and now I don't even want to continue because all my hard work developing youth has been wasted :(

@@RB-hz2bf Yep, I feel exactly the same! Cutzy did say recently he passed it onto EA and it's on their site as a bug report, so fingers crossed for a fast fix! 🤞

I always have issues trying to loan players out. I ALWAYS get loan to buy offers, and if I try to negotiate, it ends instantly with the other manager storming out.
I also run into the issue of any time I transfer list a player, I go seasons before I finally get an offer for them.
Why. Just, why.
You can get around the loan to buy issue by delegating instead of negotiating yourself, which for some reason works pretty much all the time!
