I incorporated this to my bins this year. Makes work easier.
Thatâs exactly what I do with newspaper! Works great as a worm bedding. I soak leaves overnight in hot water to kill bugs and rinse anything off that might be there, blend those together and add in horse manure. Worms love it. Wonder if there would be a difference between the paper and cardboard pulp/slurry.
Never thought to try cardboard. Will have to give that a go next time I need to make a batch of bedding.
I would have shredded it all first so Iâm glad you shared this. Iâll start with a 5 gallon bucket first before doing a full load using a drum.
There are so many types of stirring bits. The ones they make for mixing concrete tend to be more heavy duty and really rip the materials apart.
Tell us how it turns out
@@MemesWorms I decided to try it yesterday and it turned out really nice when I got it blended up today. Very similar to the newspaper but feels heavier and sorta slimy. Iâm guessing that slim is the glue that the worms love so much. It mixed really well with my other bedding materials so I may just start adding this in with everything else since we do get a lot of cardboard, especially this close to Christmas. Since I get stacks of leftover newspaper delivered from 2 gas stations Iâll keep using that as well but this would be a good replacement if I didnât get so much paper. Love being able to use all these different materials that were bound for the trash!
Thanks again!
I just received an order from you last week. Such great worms, thank you for providing a good and honest product.
Thank you so much!!
So interesting that the full sheet cardboard works better than the shredded to make the slurry.

Yes i couldnt believe it
Thanks for this ...can't wait for part 2.
It will be out next monday
Plenty of cardboard for those worms. Hello ladies. Great job helping Meme.
Hi Aj
Hey Heather! Lol! The trick to not getting over-noticed is by not hiding from the camera :)
Lol
I have been doing something similar with the shredded leaves I use for worm bedding. I let the leaves soak in a bucket for a week or so, then I drain most of the water out and store in grow bags until I use them.
I think that is a great idea to use a paint stirring bit on a drill, will try that on my next batch.
Stay Well!!!!
Yes, the paint stirrer makes it easier!! Thanks for watching!
can't wait for part 2.
It will be put on Monday
Great information đđŒ đ
Thank you
hey, I use cardboard on my worm bins as well but never thought about making mush like you do. One thing I've found is that it's soooo much easier to remove the tape if the cardboard is completely wet. I noticed that you had shredded cardboard. What do you use to shred it? It's surprisingly robust stuff!
I use the Amazon basic shredder.
Great way of recycling cardboard. đłđżđȘ±
And the worms love it!!
Canât find part 4?
There is no part 4
Will there be a part two?
Yeap comes out next Monday
