This is amazing it nearly brings a tear to my eye lol I’m 47, and this is my childhood and I’d never thought of doing a display like this. Beyond perfect, great job man!
That sounds fantastic, glad if any part of mine could help. I did the same from seeing what is possible from other people and blending into my own versions.
Yeah the one thing I don’t like is where they are stacked multiple figures deep crammed into small spaces where many figures are quite covered up. Saves space but I just like the singular look where you can see each design clearly. Thanks again.
Impressive looks very nice I have done something similar years ago but not as well as yours (mine include ep 1 to 3) while my vintage potf95 and up are in another case my problem now is space and I had to put away my vintage collection 2010 to now in boxes where I can’t see them due to lack of space. Thanks for sharing your video I just love your cases
Front border is a vinyl decal printed by a sign maker. I designed the image for it and dimensions and sat with the graphic designer who turned it into the final image for printing. Thanks!
I would love a display case like this. I get how you did 90% of this but what do I need to create the front acrylic. What process is used to get the graphics on the acrylic? Any info would be appreciated.
I designed my front acrylic by starting with the size of the acrylic and the rounded corner. I took that design to a sign maker. Once we had agreed on how the graphic would look they printed the vinyl decal and stuck it to the acrylic which they cut in house, including the polished rounded corners. That was the critical part as I first contemplated having them print the vinyl, getting the acrylic cut by a specialist acrylic supplier and sticking it on myself. The hard part is it needs to be done perfectly to avoid air bubbles. It was worth the $ to get this all done by the sign maker.
I took my measurements to a professional sign writer and they sourced the acrylic and had it cut with rounded corners and applied the vinyl decal directly to it. Well worth the cost of it, but it wasn’t cheap. I did have to go to a couple before one would do the job though.

Yeah, I’m about the same. I love your comment, thanks a tonne.
Nicely done! I have many the originals from 77-83 either loose or on card. This would be a wonderful way to display them. Thanks for sharing. 🍻
Amazing work. Well thought out project. Love the fact Rogue One has it’s own display case. My favorite Disney Star Wars film.
Yes! Totally agree, I have a massive soft spot for Rogue One and love it start to finish.
Those look really cool, nice! Thanks for showing it. Nice collection too.
Absolutely amazing work on show here🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the comment, much appreciated.
They look fantastic.
These look fantastic! I’m in the preliminary phase of making a IG unit and sith cabinets and this video helped a ton, thank you.

This is amazing. Absolutely stunning my friend!!
I'm not even into Star Wars but these are incredible. Like really really amazing. Wow ! Top shelf work. Very creative
Awesome glad you like it thanks for the feedback.
These cabinets make the back series collection look really good. My problem with black series is I typically don't like how they're displayed

Great job there, now ypur giving me ideas 👍
Cool, go for it with your own project. I learned tonnes from watching other people’s as well and got ideas that morphed into this one myself 😀

I had the same problem for years, too much of my collection in storage due to space issues, it’s a tough problem to solve! Thanks for watching 😀
Indeed its not easy hopefully one day I will be able to expose my figs
Thanks for sharing
Great efn work right there. ❤❤ now did you say vinyl sign designer for the front of the cabinet?
Just a standard sign writer who could also do acrylic cut to size and the vinyl decal application.
Shared this with friends. Did you make the front border yourself or have them made professionally? Thanks again!

@@snappythingy Awesome! Thank you again!!
Did you use 3mm glass for the shelves on the larger cabinets? Beautiful work!!
Thanks for watching - I used 6mm glass for the shelves. Wanted it nice and strong to span that distance.

Could you add the name of the Co. that created your SW themed acrylic doors?
It was a local sign maker in my area. Most of these businesses should be able to do it, check with some in your area if your looking to do it.
Are there any measured plans for these cases.
Only what I have mentioned in the video, no more detail than that though.
How do you do the acrylic thing? help please!!!! :)

Nice display, but dreadful poses for most of the figures
