I was invited to look at a vintage Star Wars collection that spanned the last 45 years. Of course I had to make an offer and buy it all! Wait til you see the amazing vintage Last 17 figure I found hiding in the collection!

Thanks to some comic savvy viewers, I now realize that the stamp on my Star Wars #42 was a good thing. It’s a Mark Jewelers variant. Crazy! Thanks everyone!
Get that CGC graded. It will be worth it! An 8.0 FMV is about 300. But can command much more. This issue is the first appearance of Boba Fett and the first full appearance of Yoda in comics.

Obviously you know what you are talking about. But I think some of those Star Wars comics are worth more when they went from 30 cents to 35 cents. That might be only the first issue price change but it might be worth looking into.

Back in the UK in 1977 when l started collecting and you weren’t even born, l was offered Luke bubble packs, Darth Vader bubble packs and a zillion other original Star Wars merchandise from a toy shop which was closing down ALL @ £1.25 each ( $1.00 -1977 conversation rate £ to $) and I said NO!!!!! The BIGGEST mistake in my collecting career 😢

What a great pick Anthony, i think $1K was about right, she said she needed the money and fair paly to her, most people don't admit that, she actually almost cried i think when you agreed on the amount, what a sweet lovely lady and a cool mini in the garage 🙂you are a really good guy, a lot of [people would have tried to screw her down as she needed the cash. Your a gent! for sure.

The bittersweet departures people make with their beloved collections for unfortunate but equally love-driven reasons are softened by your square dealing, tact, enthusiasm, and respect. You're a good one.
We are all but temporary guardians of our possesions. It's good to know this one went to someone who will cherish it.
I made a similar purchase in the UK about 7 years ago from a lady in Manchester. Her Grandson had passed away and she was looking to memorialise him with funds from the sale. 4 people went to look at the collection at the same time as me. Apart from myself not one of them spoke to her about her grandson or asked about the history of the Collector. You did a good thing here mate, well done
I've collected all my life, bought and sold many many things and just watching your video, that for whatever reason, appeared on my feed, you are an honorable buyer. That is a very hard quality to find in an adult dominated hobby where the dollar is king. Don't ever lose that quality.

Wow! What a deal! I’m a Star Wars dealer and collector myself, that ROTJ millennium falcon box is pretty hard to come by! And of course the centerpiece of the collection was the r2d2, great find! And a great price
I start all my action figures on auction for $.99, so I let people pay what they want to for the item. If everyone priced them at 50 cents then there wouldn’t be enough to go around for everyone. I’m also a collector, but I sell duplicates or things that I don’t think are good enough condition for my collection.
I just gave away my 25 year star wars vintage collection to kids in the hood .

Last 17 loose figures have gone up in value so much, I gave up trying to buy them to complete my original vintage collection. Good find on the R2!

I had the Rancor as a kid. Man, I loved that thing. l always took care of it and always played with it. One day I thought I outgrew it along with all of my other SW and He Man toys and I put them in a donate bag. Now, I really wish i would have kept them in the attic for my kids to play with. Seeing this Rancor really rips my heart out.
She seemed happy and relieved by the price, really appreciate you not taking advantage of such a thoughtful women. Win wins are so great, hope you come out ahead! * edit, watched till the end, awesome gratz!

That Star stamp on the Star Wars 42 might signify it as a MARK JEWELERS VARIANT! Check the inside centerfold of the book, if there’s a mark jewelers ad, that increases the value like crazy due to its rarity!!

They were exclusively sold to military bases to influence servicemen to buy jewelry for their loved ones back home. I think they’re super fun to find in the wild but they’ve definitely increased in following and collectibility as of late in the comic community. Score!!

It's touching she had this collection since her childhood probably. Like said these things are meant to be enjoyed temporarily. I haven't held on to items that long. Impressive to watch.

I was born in 1975. I remember when I was about around 8 my Dad started buying me Star Wars toys. The ships, action figures, etc etc. I had a lot. Somewhere around the early 90's...I sold all of it with my GiJoes, Mask, He-Man, Thunder Cats...and what not at a garage sale for literally nothing so I could buy Baseball Cards.
I am 48 now...and I still have those worthless baseball cards.
You are awesome & I love how good you are with the people you deal with you definitely are not out taking advantage of people like I’ve seen others do when people have no clue what they got. My son & me love watching your videos & because of people like you,Game/toy hunters & retro Rick have got us back into the collecting life again. Truly appreciate what you do

Great Star Wars buy. Made me look at my stuff. Found the R2D2 with the lightsaber and coin! Wow!
My son's, now in their 40s had a lot of the toys you showed. When the kids were 3 and 6 we were having a yard sale. The boys were playing with all those star wars toys on the patio. While I was inside my husband sold hundreds of dollars worth, every single star wars toys they had, right out from under their playing and sold them for $5.00 for everything! I've never been so mad in all of my life. When my older son was in his late 20s started buying some of his favorites back.
Dude!! I know you so well now I was like “I bet he’s gonna offer $800 and she will either accept or settle at $1000”🤣 I said that out loud to my GF and when he said it we died laughing 😂

Nice haul Froggy! We still have our last 17 R2-D2 with scope and kept the backing board. Back in those days, my son and I spend many a day seeking out to complete the collection of figures. He treasures that collection and we both treasure the memories of finding a hidden SW gem at a store on our Saturday quests.

Oh man. I'd give a limb for a find like that. First off, those VHS tapes were clean, cleeeean. Nice vintage toy haul and of course the R2 pop up is a great find. Lovely, lovely haul.

Wow this video just gave me a flashback. I haven't seen or thought about them in 40 years, but those have to be Burger King Star Wars glasses. I'd forgotten about them, but those have to be them. You'd get one with a meal and eventually collect all of them. That's crazy.

It's always really nice to visit a place full of toys and especially vintage Star Wars Toys! The Return of the Jedi Millennium Falcon box is in really good shape and the spaceship and 1985 Pop Up saber R2 is pretty as well and easy to find too! Congrats on this found and thank you for sharing it !

Oh boy... this brings back some memories. Had quite the Kenner collection myself back in the day... Death Star play set (def. a favorite)... Hoth play set (w/ exploding stuff!)... Landspeeder... ESB Falcon... ep. 4 x-wing and tie fighters... y-wing... rebel transport like the one above... talking(!) imperial troop transport... AT-AT (another favorite)... AT-ST (can't have an AT-AT without an AT-ST!)... Snowspeeder (can't have AT-AT and AT-ST without a Snowspeeder!)... all ep. 4 & 5 figures (with necessary dupes, of course)... probably 80% of ep. 6 figures... Darth Vader figure case... even had the ESB auxiliary weapons pack... and probably some other stuff I don't remember. Oh yeah... how could I forget... a Tauntaun! Got a lot of use over the years, but def. kept it all in excellent condition... had boxes for the big stuff. It was all sitting in a spare bedroom, untouched, until mid-2000's when my 8-year old daughter happened to catch ROTS at a friend's house, and thought that was super dope... SO THE TORCH WAS OFFICIALLY PASSED!!! She became a huge SW fan, and those toys got another few years of enjoyment... not to mention the huge box of bubble gum cards. Around 2012, I debated doing the eBay thing, but opted to take them to the swap shop at the local recycling center. The older woman who works there almost had a heart attack... "my 8 year-old grandson is going to love this!!!"... so I basically transferred my whole collection directly from my car to hers... and the circle of life continued...

Before seeing that R2D2 I was thinking that lady fleeced Froggy on this deal with the sad story about her father. For a $1000 this lot would take a lot of work and time to see a decent profit.. R2D2 saves the day once again.
