- Portugal will take on France in the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 on Friday, looking to reach the last four at a European Championship for the fifth time in seven tournaments.
The match in Hamburg is a repeat of the Euro 2016 final, in which Portugal beat hosts France in extra-time to clinch the country's maiden title in a major international football tournament.
Friday's match will pit two of world football's biggest superstars against each other, although Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo and his France counterpart Kylian Mbappe have both struggled to find their best form at Euro 2024.
Ronaldo missed a penalty against Slovenia in the round of 16 and has yet to score in the tournament - the 39-year-old was on target in the ensuing shoot-out though - while Mbappe's only goal in France's first four matches in Germany came from the spot in a group stage draw with Poland.

You don’t need so many crosses and corners, you need to do jota did for the the penalty, jota should start, and you should put João Félix at least 20 minutes or more
Jota should start with Ronaldo. Ronaldo would do better with 2 st/cf. Joao Felix issue is that he can be great but he was lacking in the Georgia match where would he play when leao is performing well.
I remember in first conference martinez told he brought 7 shirts for euros we have to beleive today he uses the 5 one we must make sure he uses other 2 no matter wht happens today i will stand with this squad
