Southgate hasn't changed the way England plY bullshit
Dude talk about how you pass Switzerland and Turkey/Netherland before you dream of reaching the final. This is the problem with England too much talking before actual talking in the pitch. Stones appears out of ideas or doesn’t trust passing the ball quickly to Rice and Mainoo. He needs to pass quickly to establish one-touch football; this will open up packed midfield. But if you take your time with the ball and look for who to pass it to, then it’s easy for the opposition to mark your targets. You have to trust players like Mainoo with quick one touch football. That kid can turn with the ball under pressure and I’m not even a United fan. If Gareth drops him for Jude alongside Rice or Gallagher, Swiss midfield will enjoy possession in the middle of pitch which will yield opportunities against us. Kane and Jude need to main constant pressing and dynamic movements. If they’re tired and stop pressing Gareth should sub them quickly. We can’t rely on individual moment in the dying seconds. Luck doesn’t happen every time.
