- Vampire Survivors Part 48 - I've unlocked a map with only bats, this seems like the perfect time to bring out the garlic! Everyone's favorite damage dealer gets some fun limit break action on Bat Country, let me know what you want to see limit broken next!

The map gives me sonic vibes, especially with the gems. they were used for the chaos emeralds levels in the first game right?
Also in Sonic 4 episode 1 as well. As far as I'm aware, those 2 are the only Sonic games to use them
Those Blocks were in Sonic 1's Special Stages, usually surrounding the Chaos Emeralds. This whole map seems to be a Sonic Reference, even with the background becoming a sphere (looks similar to Sonic 3's Blue Sphere Stages)

Idk though, to limit break you need the lightning ring evo right? And evolved lightning ring shoots quite slowly, so even if it obliterates the whole screen every time it hits, with high curse you'll still die cause enemies will get to you before lightning strikes again.

Scoreg Oni (or however it's spelt) is great for this, as it gains additional lightning rings as it levels.
12:56 Soul Eater was fluctuating a lot because of the second arcana he took that fluctuates between -50% and +100% area and also gives +1% per level. It doesn't normally do that.

It was also the first one he chose, but that's next to irrelevant.
You should take crown. More xp equals more limit break.
Edit: The size change of Soul Eater was coming from boogaloo of illusions.

He should also use wicked season for the 2x growth and curse

I see one youtuber always do unevolved weapon limit breaks on library, so that's what I would recommend

Lightning ring sucks compared to these
Non evolved lighting ring is actually used in money farms since w the arcana bungaloo of ilusions it actually has insane range
This map is definitely Green Hill Zone from Sonic, same checkerboard floor and plants, and well as the blue stones that fly up also remind me of a later stage
The sphere background part is like the hidden chaos gem stages in Sonic CD I believe, where you go into a giant ring
the sphere background is 100% a sonic 3 special stage, even has an identical palette to the first one. CD special stages are flat.
2:07 Duplicator only benefits Garlic if you have Blood Astronomia.
15:55-- There is no more perfect sentence to describe a Vampire Survivors stream than this one.

Tyler is about to experience the "find out" resulting from the "fuck around" of maxxing out charm and curse at the same time
the limit break "area" effect changes the base area of the weapon, so +3% area when you have like +300% area is multiplicitive instead of addative, same with might and projectile speed.
I don't know how good it'd be, but how about limit broken dagger? I like the idea of a weapon going "screw everything in that general direction"

I would highly recommend getting crown in these runs, as well as the arcana wicked season. If you want to see more limit break, a youtuber called Dex did every single weapon and it's evolution
The changing area was from the boogaloo of illusions arcana
It constantly grows and shrinks the area with a net 1% increase every level

Use santa water for limit break on dairy plant. You can unlock a secret and absolutely shred one of the harder levels in the game

First area just reminded me if Green Hill Zone the old Sonic games and then those crystals started bouncing around.
Both the crystals and the sphere map are from different bonus areas in Sonic.

I'm really excited for you to try the moonspell DLC for the game, it adds several really cool new items and heroes for the game. They create some crazy synergy.
The best weapon in the game, stops projectiles, kills in one hit for most early enemies, no aiming required
I had fun with lightning ring limit break. Be sure to collect wings and get the reduced cooldown when moving arcana to maximise cooldown towards the endgame.
To make the mosquito joke work with the game’s tone/lore/whatever:
Stirges. Weak, cat-sized mosquitos from Dungeons and Dragons that latch to people in swarms of several dozen, slowly draining HP

You actually want to take damage with Soul Eater. It gets stronger as you heal from the little hearts, but only if you're not already at full health.

Not true. Crown gives 40% more exp, not 40% more limit break levels (each level costs more exp than the last). Your statement implies that if you get 100 limit break levels without crown you'd get 140 with it.

Regarding Gems
Green gems are dropped by normal enemies above a certain level (they just replace blue)
Red gems are dropped by minibosses
But are also generated once there are a certain number of gems on the field (I guess to save resources/space and stop the game dying)
Basically after a certain number are present blue/green gems won't appear and instead the xp will stack inside one red gem, it's why sometimes you pick one up and get a bunch of levels, you can also make multiple less valuable red gems by killing enemies faster than you pick up gems so you go back and forward over the max number of blue/green
You can make them on purpose by not collecting gems for a bit - red gem should generate at the edge of the screen (or slightly off one corner)

Ok so the evolved pentagram limitbreak is pretty fun... but good luck managing to have a run with pentagram as your only weapon in order to see it.
(with other weapons you mostly get their limitbreaks with pentagrams being quite rare)
I started this game last week and i have already 100%'ed it and or close to 100%'ing it, but i like the pace your going.

Hey tyler, just a heads up
When you play on Inverse mode you can actually buy an arcana from the merchant for 20k or 10k gold which allows you to use 4 arcanas instead of 3
This level is definitely a sonic throw back
Blood astronomia with clock lancet, attractorb, and empty tome can go in any build and be spectacular
Duplicator doesn't help Garlic. Skull was a solid choice because curse is fun lol, but the only other one that would help a Garlic build is Clover-it increases the chance of getting a heart from an enemy with Soul Eater. Also attractorb is cool with Garlic builds because you just get ALL the XP for free and leave none on the ground which is super satisfying

You mention that 3% area may not be that much since you already have 300%, but that is not true. The area from limit break is separate from the area from other sources. You can see your character's area in the pause menu, and it multiplies with the weapon-specific area. So +3% garlic area is actually much more than you'd think.
That is a sonic green hill zone tile set for sure. Those special blocks you break that turn colors are very similar to Sonic 1 special stage blocks you also have to break by hitting them a few times.
I love how Charm means more enemies. It means that you become more charismatic with it, so more monsters will want to say hello and kill you kkkkkkkkkk

this level reminds me of Sonic. the brown/beige squares in the background and the spawning squares are like chaos emeralds. :o

The fluctuations in size in not just the garlic, the arcana you picked up makes it go from -25% (smaller) to 25% bigger, in every video he seems to get confused when it seems bigger at times and smaller at times
personally i love the secret hunting episodes, i love all of em but id love to actually see you fight and react to the director

I did the same thing with Santa water and got to level 400 with the full screen covered with at least 50 puddles because of the sheer amount being thrown and the little cooldown
You should unlock the Wild Seasons Arcana, no spoilers but it promotes a high risk high reward type of run 👌

santa water is super strong with maxed synergies so i bet it would be insane with limit break
also curse is probably just a high risk high reward version of crown since it increases the number of enemies which would logically increase the xp gain by the same amount

Alien if you wanna limit break you should really try to start with the 4 seasons arcana.
Also on inverse mode you can buy an extra arcana from the shop guy

my fav def atk Garlic and King Bible both same Evo!! using Axe Evo with Whip!! im using Clerici, all i need to get at the beginning is Garlic then stand for 5mins then farm the gems all the way!

Inverse mode you can buy an extra arcana from trouser. It helps get beefy quickly.
Four seasons limit break is hard to get going but very strong once it has gotten up to speed. I believe I got around 400k kills in bat country with no golden eggs when I used the weapon.
As someone with over 1600hrs now in this game it's fun watching you do these runs with basically no clue...LOL
Or at least it's one hell of an act...

At first I was just like "Oh this looks like Green Hill Zone from Sonic 1, probably funny coincidence", Then I saw the diamonds and realized they were the diamonds that protect the chaos emeralds in Sonic 1 special stages so this is definitely a Sonic reference stage.
Edit: Oh also at the 7 Min mark in game the background becomes the Blue Balls stage from Sonic 3
