This is actually a great review. Thanks man!
Hugely useful video. Thank you
Thank you for your video. It is very helpful to choose a right one!
Glad it was helpful!
Great review! 👍 💪 🔥
I bought the brute force dip belt some years back. It's still holding up, and very similar to the Dark Iron one that you discussed.
I was about to buy the Rogue fitness dip belt but this video changed my mind. Thanks for the info.
same
@@S2k_GRsti same
@@aaroncurtisyoga2 damnnn same!
Thanks! We have that belt at my gym and I tried to understand how it works lol
Good video! Thanks!
You bet!
Excelent video !!! Thank you!!
What do you think about the Dmoose Dip Belt made of Neoprene?
loved the intro
haha me too... u caught that huh? good sound effect :)
Nice belt indeed but there is nothing wrong with the belts like Rogue if you know how to set it up properly, just adjust chain to your waist.
As much as I love Rogue equipment and own a lot of their stuff and their belt as well I ordered that one and my balls are much happier now 😂
agreed!! :)
The newly redesigned Rogue dip belt blows every other belt away, it’s not even close. I’ve used DMoose, Spud and a couple others and the new Rogue is bar far the most comfortable, it looks nothing like the old version
I have the Dark Iron but the strap is too thick for 1 inch plates, is the Rouge chain thin enough for 1in plates?
Thank you!
Yes the chain will go through, then you can attach the clip
@@CurlsintheRack Ah, beautiful, thank you!
Use a heavy duty cam buckle strap, cargo/tie down.
Thanks man. In the market for a dip belt. Made my decision pretty easy
Glad I could help!
@Jacob Graves … Hopefully you at least looked at the negative reviews on Amazon.
@@strawberryyogurt0 I don't really feed negativity so I'm not going to answer that
@@jacobgraves8352 …What the heck does that even mean? Who’s telling you to ‘feed negativity’? I’m simply suggesting you go take a look at the pros and cons of the product from SEVERAL amazon reviews instead of simply relying on ONE youtube review. There are at least two amazon reviews that says loading 80lbs on the dip belt broke.
@@strawberryyogurt0 its pretty self explanatory I thought
lol had my dark iron fitness belt for 7 month till it snapped at 60kg😢
Can this belt be looped thru regular plates? Ive read that it was 'designed' for olympic plates thanks brotha
I think the loop is a little too tight to go through the 1in standard plates.
@@CurlsintheRack thanks for the info & speedy feedback bro
Also i must ask if the looping cable/strap is removable to be replaced by a chain?
@@123theluvguru Probably but why? The strap that comes with it holds up to 270, the average person isn’t doing 270+ pound dips or pull ups lol
@@Ayban3 because i do not have olympic plates at home, i tend to workout only at home
Ever tried the ironmind dip belt?
I have not…. Is it nice?
is it also comfortable for belt squats?
Yes… until you go super heavy, digs a bit into the hips… you might want the spud inc belt squat belt
ayo the intro ???
I've seen people use dip belts with the chain WITHOUT connecting the left and right parts of the belt, if you see what I mean.
Just click the chain to one side of your belt, loop it through the weights and attach the other end of the chain 2 the other side of your belt. That's how I do it and it works great.
However the belt you were promoting looks great.
Still recommend this belt?
Definitely
I ended up buying the Dark Iron Fitness dip belt. The build quality is pretty nice. BUTT...
the Dark Iron Fitness dip belt has one big problem for me. The Waist strap isn't long enough! I usually work out in a garage gym. It's pretty chili during the winter and the belt's waist strap is just not long enough to easily fit over 3 layers(2 shirts and a sweatshirt).
:(
Wear it after u put the belt
@@brolyui4484 I think I'm just too fat. 😂 I can't put the strap through the buckle.
I did find a solution though. I used 4 carabiners to do what the strap was supposed to do and now I enjoy the belt using "the way it was intended" !
4 years later it’s $48… 🥴
That's too tight around your waist. The rings should be aimed down lower closer to your inner thighs.
How come? Is it safer for the rings to point towards your inner thigh?
@@matthewjameson8809 for the first belt he was wearing it like an actual belt around the waist. The dip ring isn't used as a belt buckle for the chains, the rings actually hang loose towards inner thigh through the weight plate.
Yeah this guy is using his dip belt wrong. I’ve never looped the chain of my dip belts through the other ring. I feed the chain through the weights then attach to the other ring and then lift the belt to my hips, squat down if I have to get good placement of the belt then stand up. The force of the weights pulling down locks the belt across your lower back and hips and there’s much more clearance between the weights and my balls that way (nice benefit).
Edit: go watch the rogue demo video for how to use a chain dip belt properly.
