This should be the bench mark for e scooters when they are eventually leagalised in the U.K . Great product, I cannot wait to receive mine.

Hoping to pick mine up tomorrow. I'm having withdrawal symptoms to be honest.I can't wait to get on this baby. You've opened the doors for me in so many ways as my e bike just died on me a week ago.
    1. Now i can go anywhere in London and not even have to worry about the mileage. Well done for putting a decent amount of mileage on there. Now i can go to Hyde Pk in the summer.
    2. It's waterproof! unlike my £800 electric skateboard which is a waste of money in England, cause it rains too much.
    3. I can take it to the gym and fit in in a locker, or just put it in a concealed bag and take it in the gym with me.
    4. The design is right up my street. I love White bikes and scooters, but Platinum Silver is sexy af!
    5. I can take it on any form of transport. This is something i'm so excited about. Travelling to the country and using it on the coastal strips!!!!
    6. I can take it into ANY shop or supermarket, without being hassled. I can walk it around the shop or just fold it up when the security tries it with me, then i can have the complete satisfaction of saying " next?"
I'm hoping that you will add number seven and eight for the future?
    7. Please design a decent strong bag, so that we can keep it hidden, when travelling and just for hygiene reasons when in public.
    8. Please consider making a universal rack that goes on the back wheel, so we can put a rucksack or shopping bag there.
Other than that, i love it. I hope it meets all my expectations when i receive it. I'll be putting it on my channel with my cat, so something for me to look forward to.
British made. About time!!!! Sick of shopping in China.. Well Done!!!!!

Soon as I saw the flex unveiled I thought the battery might be removable when u fold it in half like some e-bikes allowing it to be charged separately but unfortunately not. Pure should seriously consider this for the next iteration as that more warrants the £300 premium over the standard advance model and allows an additional battery to be bought to double the range. The non flex versions will suit most I think as will still fit in most car boots by look of it or store along a wall inside and the advance plus gets you more range and is still 200 less than the flex. I do like how u can pull the flex around folded like a trolley, reminds me of an EUC 😀

Why are these NOT being shipped to the US? As a retired person living in a retirement community, I have the perfect use case. I'd love to purchase the Flex.

With such disruptive engineering, you haven't figured out a way to make the battery detachable? That's what the people want, carry the battery with them to charge and not drag the whole dirty scooter all the way up the apartment.

Hi @tobbe8287 - Thanks for the consideration of future development ideas, we'll share this with our research team here at Pure!

  • @alexmultimodalpackrafting915

    Very interesting!
I have been following "the most compact e-scooter"-development for years, and a folding size that small (and short: 61x56x29cm) would not only be an evolution for commuters, but also finally a discreet size to fit the Pure Advance Flex in the back of a kayak or kayakesque packraft (5kg) to access remote waters.
I use one of the most compact & lightest scooters currently on the market (E-Twow Booster V: 12kg, 33x18x 96 cm), which is exactly those 30 cm too long and therefore sticks out and is difficult to secure.

Not bad design wise, gets small enough to actually be considered practical, folds quickly enough that people might actually bother doing it before getting on a bus, just barely though, since this requires 4 actions to fold completely, the biggest issue is by far the weight, 16kg is actually heavier then most commuting scooters out there, looks like the thick metal frame is the biggest contributor to this here, have you considered carbon fiber?

Most likely took into account but I assume it would skyrocket the price unfortunately.

This looks really interesting. I have a question about the range though: has anybody tested the range in rea life scenarios? What is the realistic range with an average weight adult man riding it with stop-starts and some hills? I have a Xiaomi Mi 1S scoter and the range advertised was 30km but I would say I get about 12-15 absolute max out of it. I am looking for a scooter that has a SOLID (guaranteed) 30km range, do you think this scooter will do it?

  • @ameliaromerocaracuel4096

What a great product!! But I read the website and it says 108 cms (42 inches) from the wheels to the handlebars... I am 170cms (66 inches) , Is this scooter too short for tall people when you are riding it? It is recommended 2-3cms around the belly button so I think It,s a little low....this could be one of the cons to buy it.. Am I wrong?

    • @RidePureElectric
      @RidePureElectric  Před rokem +1

Hi Amelia, thanks for this great question!
Your height is well within the range of heights we designed our Pure Advance e-scooters for, so you'll feel right at home when riding it.
All our e-scooters are designed to be accessible for a wide range of adult heights, ensuring you can have comfort and control on your rides.
