The one singular column on the Grand Estate is doing its best to hold the sheer horrid weight of that house up. I aspire to be as sturdy and strong as that stick thin boi.
it's the strongest substance in the known sims universe... i can only support about 20% of that much ugliness, well done column x
That Sims 4 building made me cry inside 😂
This list make my house buildings look good. At least I can furnish good 😂
if you can make a brick rectangle, and do a decent furnish, then you've got EA beat by a long shot
thanks for watching x
@@Rekowcski yay I’m better than EA then . Ohhh yeaaaa lmao
I never know how to build in Sims 2 honestly, I'm spoiled by Sims 4 bb, but that's all I really enjoy about sims 4. I feel like the Strangetown house gets a pass though. Cuz, y'know, *Strangetown*.
It was probably just someone’s first ever house, I try to not take it too seriously haha
I find it annoying that Sims 2 houses are decent, but their layouts cannot fit a double bed. I have to tear down walls to make it work.
Sims 3 houses usually trying way to hard to showcase create a style hahah. Hence the mismatched colors.
The Pleasantview condos are notorious for that... but you're right I love their simple modern style
@@Rekowcski I find the Downtown residentials are crazy small. Like they really encourage you to get out of the house to experience Nightlife lol. But their downtown lots are so good I don't understand the imbalance of aesthetic in the same world!
Since I still play Sims 2 , yes, I agree. I have used some of the bin houses that I thought looked nice only to find the bedrooms way too small to use decently. Why? One house that I liked had one bedroom that could just take a double bed. It had an attached bathroom on the other side of the room from the door and sims being sims guess how many tried to get to that small bathroom at once and then got stuck because no one could move out of the way. Right now I usually just make my own houses. They may not be the best but at least I can fit a bed and a dresser in one bedroom!
@@leslie2149 if I am living in a small house in TS2, I remove the bedroom wall so at least I have a shot at getting my sim(s) to sleep
73 road to nowhere is iconic
i've played in it enough times that it gives me the nostalgia feeling, but my goodness that bathroom and roof...
@@Rekowcski awful in the best way possible
I think the exterior is cute And i love that It has a basemeant. It is a unique house with potential with some renovations
If you change the green carpet in the bathroom to white tile, it fixes about half of my disgust haha
I refuse to believe that the last house is real. I simply refuse.
Ignorance is bliss I guess... check the gallery ID "Maxis" if you'd like to fact check for yourself haha
@@Rekowcski I did.. And I regret it
It's a joke clearly by Maxis. "SO Much Room for Activities" references the movie Step-Brothers. Someone probably had an idea to make the ugliest bg house and through every activity in there for the lols.
EA Build Team: Trolling the hell out of Sims Franchise players one unsightly build at a time...
I wonder what they’ll bestow upon us for the sims 5.
That "Grand Estate" puts Road to Nowhere's placement on this list to shame... At least with some of these houses there's a competent skeleton or you can tell the builders had a concrete idea behind it. The nail in the coffin for me is always the combination of asymmetry, tiny windows, large spaces, and huge, seemingly endless walls. That "Grand Estate" would literally be my nightmare house.
I tried to pick houses with different problems, but yes I agree with you ... that one was particularly painful. It reminds me of building when I was 10 and I thought a mansion meant a 10x10 master bathroom :/
With a little more effort grand estate could look good. I don't understand the randomly placed windows!
“For your pissing pleasure” lol
haha thanks for watching, glad you laughed
last one is literally how i used to build when i didnt care and just used premade rooms
Sims 4 premade rooms remind me of sims 2 lots and houses bin... oooof
@@Rekowcski damn, yeah, they are the same flavor
I thought about the sims 4 Del Sol Valley museum when u said to think of the worst build. And then i open my eyes and now i've got some more trauma to discuss in my next therapy appointment
Oh that thing in del sol is... interesting. But at least they had an idea as to what they wanted (big ugly modern museum I think) But yes it wasn’t as tragic as the #1 build here. I’m shocked the worst thing they ever made is in the sims 4 to be honest...
“Or walk an hour to the bathroom” cracked me up
God forbid your sim is pregnant and just drank something
I Love the Strangetown house :( specially the basement, I just can't stand the routing issues and how it's hard to see with the tall fence or whatever
i think we all have memories in that house, for better or worse haha
I really thought at the end you were gonna say “To cap off the slow painful death you will experience whilst playing the sims 4” haha
sims 4 can be fun if you really put in the effort, but you're right, it may kill you before it pays off
Your sarcasm kills me 😂 that sims 4 one at the end is particularly horrendous
my favourite detail is the 400 wall lights
@@Rekowcski I went and found it in the gallery and it’s so much worse seeing it for real 💀 I want to try and fix it now lmaoo
@@Karenwood you can begin by clicking bulldoze haha
I love these kind of videos! You have alot of potential with this!
I sure hope so, there's no shortage of ugly ea builds
@@Rekowcski also I need you to renovate the last build LOL
i don't know where I would possibly begin lol
Sims 2 , 73 Road to Nowhere is iconically bad 😂 so glad that it continues to be called out
it's because once you see it, you can't ever unsee it. I moved AJ Loner in there almost 20 years ago and moved him right back out immediately.
I love it actually 😅 it so bizarre that it fits in strangetown well I think
The narration is so harsh yet so accurate 😭😭
Sunny Acres brings me nostalgia it was the first house I used in an old save file.
One of my favourite first sims memories is living in the sims 1 rainbow octagon house... I loved it but my goodness it sure is a sight
the funniest thing is you just KNOW if a house is created by a simmer or ea, no matter what sims game you’re on 😅😂
100% ... from the thumbnail sometimes I just think “oh OF COURSE ea made this” lol
I must have been through severe trauma because i dont remember any of this builds and im grateful.
some memories are best left repressed
As bad as that Strangetown house is, I often pick it for the Singles household because it's the only starter home in their budget that can (barely) fit four Sims, since the basement provides space for two Sims. Regardless, a good goal for the Singles is to move them out of that abomination as quickly as possible and into the house situated next to the Grunts', which looks similar to theirs.
On an unrelated note, you should review houses in the Stories games.
I always pick it for the singles too! I keep the aliens in the basement because of the racists down the street haha
@@Rekowcski Oh, well, I tend to let Chloe sleep in the largest room because she's a romance Sim and the room can accommodate a double bed.
oh i actually ADORE the red one besides the colors!!! that’s one AMAZING fixer upper of a house
as long as you get rid of that tile on the side of the house ill be happy haha
OMG! I'm embarrassed to think of the times I've used Shady Bough simply because it would fit on an available lot, and my sims could afford it. It has been an eyesore in my legacy world (Finnington) for too long, but no more! I have just moved my current family out and deleted it. My own building skills are no great shakes, but even I can do better than that.
I actually think Sunny Acres is cute!
the single bush near the pool..
just discovered your channel today, the way you describe shit cracks me up! definitely subscribing lmfaoooo
Welcome, happy to have you here x
I use the Shady Boughs house quite a lot, but not without a complete make-over inside and out. I personally think "Ever" (also from the S3 bin) is worse.
when you asked us to close our eyes and image I was imagining the grand estate
First off, you’re pretty funny lol
Secondly, that last house is worse than the first house I built on TS1. Never have I seen such a useless dwelling. Such an unsightly hovel. Omg, who at maxis is responsible?? Lmaooo
it was done on a livestream that i assume they deleted in shame :(
2:30 the windows aren't even lined up, how could they screw up this bad
That last one is sadly how I build and why I always take from the gallery 😂
bless the gallery 🙏
That last one...ooph. What were they thinking? I made better houses as a pre-teen on the old Sims 2 console games!
i have no doubt your decades old console houses are better than the last house... it's like willow creek got corrupted
@@Rekowcski I'm sure EA hopes some of those lots came from corruption. 😯
It’s like they just don’t give a sh**😭 they just throw anything together then take our money 🤧
I guess EA wanted to proof that they can't build lol
I rest my case x
I used to play a LOT in that Sims 2 house hahahaha
i think we all did ... hahah
If you think the house is strangetown is bad (I personally think its charming), nothing will ever top the BV mansion.
They got their pet monkeys to build them :D
I don’t blame the developers personally, I wouldn’t have any creative freedom or inspiration if I worked for EA that’s for sure haha
I would say that the Curious brothers home in Strangetown is also a candidate. But too many people have seen it already😂
I always renovate that as soon as I start playing stragetown lol... I think you can see a peek in this video actually
i feel like strangetown houses get a pass because they're actually strange (unlike EA claiming stanger villes emptiness added to its strange) so i dont really mind any of its weirder builds
it actually bothers me more when they do something too basic and boring when they are going for a more whimsical concept, i actually love the starter house, but objectively its just so bizarre haha
3:42 mmm Yummy! 😂
i've lost my appetite x
The last one literally made me want to scream
Typical EA style 😭
The roasts are hilarious and the video editing is good but
I'm sorry if this is offensive, is this your voice or an AI voice
Like genuinely I'm sorry but I CANNOT tell
part 2?
You're the boss x
Good god that sims 2 house with the windows they HAD to of done that on purpose😂😂😂 just awful
It was absurd hahah
Someone should show the Grande Estates to LilSimsie, I’m just genuinely curious to see her reaction to such a horrid build. Also, the “Room for Activities” house … That has to be a troll build! I can’t bring myself to believe that’s a LEGIT serious build! 😵💫
she would lose her mind... probably freak out long enough for an entire video
@@Rekowcski I’d still watch it tho, it’d be like Brad Mondo watching ppl bleach their hair at home lol
Anyone seeing this comment if you want to live a happy fulfilling life do not wait for the last house. Hope this helps!!
