While The Sims 3 has significantly better gameplay than The Sims 4, The Sims 2 is objectively the best when we talk about gameplay.

That fountain of youth rolling your age back a single day was a scam. It makes me even less sorry for pirating their store content. It should have rolled you back an entire life stage, not a single day lol

I do think the sims look better and have better hair and clothes in the Sims 4. The Sims 4 also has an easier built mode. However, the gameplay itself is way better in the Sims 3. In the Sims 4, I create sims and a house and I get bored of playing the actual game after maybe 1h30m tops. Yeah, the sims look prettier, but the personality traits don't affect the gameplay and everything is boring. The house was easier to build and looks good, but being forced to stay in it because the Sims can't go anywhere without me losing control of most of them and it gets repetitive. You do things just because and in The Sims 3 it feels rewarding.

I have installed the Story progression, I have watched tutoriel oh where to put it, but when I launch the game, I don"t have a message telling me if I want to use the mode, my game just ignore the files! I wento to the mayor building bur the Nraas logo doesn't appear. As I said, my game just ignore it, can someone help me? Thank you!

I started watching more sims 3 videos, mainly focusing on a small series doing the super nanny challenge and throughout the series I was shocked at how much was going on as a sims 4 player. I’m not sure if anyone else is gonna watch that series so I’ll refrain from spoiling it, but some of the things happening in these episodes made me think “THIS IS WILD I LOVE THIS” and after some thinking I realized that it wasn’t wild it was just realistic. Crazy things happen in life all the time and seeing this happen within the sims 3 was amazing especially being that you would experience more lives than just your main households life at once. It’s a shame having to download a million Mods just to have a realistic game, and having to pay 40 dollars for every little pack that should’ve been base game. Without Mods I’m sure the Sims 4 would not have as many players, especially ones who enjoy making Alpha CC sims. I would want to hope that the game gets better, but there’s not much hope in that knowing how EA is. Hopefully, I can play the Sims 3 soon, I really look forward to it.

The ghost house reminded me of a insane asylum, reminded me of Girl Interrupted for some reason even though architecturally it’s not the same lol

I love how colorful and serene this town looks, but most households have a lot of drama going on from not-murder-murder hostels, divorced couples, serial cheaters, gold diggers, ghosts😅)

I started playing The Sims 1, 2 & 3 (I found so many EP discs at secondhand stores!) at 12-13. When the Sims 4 came out I was super excited and it was the first (and only) game I ever preordered. I got so bored SO fast and I had never experienced that in a Sims game before. I tried Sims 4 on and off and it wasn't working, about 3 years ago I fully gave up on it and exclusively play The Sims 3, I love it so much <3 I'm 23 now and I have all the EPs, but honestly even base game it is a million times more fun than The Sims 4 was WITH EPs imo. I had to do a few things to get it to run better but it was worth it! Never looking back haha

😅 EA obviously makes ugly on purpose so that way, you have an objective; to renovate the interiors! My favorite part of the game! Currently playing Sunset Valley, and somehow Jared Frio managed a shotgun wedding with Lisa Bunch, giving her a baby while in the shower stall, had a boy, then they didn't work out, so he lives nextdoor with his first illegitimate daughter from Claire Ursine, who also still prefers to live alone in the blue bungalow beside them as well. Lisa Bunch took over Jared's loft and is currently working on her Architectural design career as a single parent. That Frio house was so ugly, but I painted the walls black and it's awesome now! Also Connor Frio married Agnes and gave her a son. He suddenly became a 4 star celebrity overnight just from that attention. Shw had previously been turned down by Christopher Steel when she proposed. Now she's busy as an Art Appraiser while she enjoys tomb raiding in France for fancy relics to add to her super mansion. That's part of my story so far.

Can’t remember which Sims it was but I really liked the Sims where you could actually move your Sim with the joystick

The Sims 3 was great but when you added too much content to it it would freeze up alot and refuse to keep up when fast forwarded it was tough accepting that but i had to move on to Sims 4 because of it.

sims 3 had pets that added: dogs, cats, horses, rats, lizards , hamsters, etc. Sims 4 has: Cottage living, Cats & Dogs, Horse ranch, and my first pets stuff and still doesn't have lizards or any cool pets

Please, for the love of god for anyone who has a more recent graphics card, LIMIT YOUR FPS. The sims 3 doesn't sync to your monitor's refresh rate despite what the monitor says, my game was rendering 450 FPS and it cooked my graphics card, I'm not sure if all modern graphics cards are susceptible to this, but you MUST use mods to at least limit the FPS, just in case.

Sims 4 kind of feels dead I wish there was more exploration like there is in the older titles😢

12:18 I remember I made a Sim with no points filled in only to get an opposite personality via the Geny lamp: meaning my Sim got all character values maxed out. In a way it was an early Supersim version.

I remember loving Sims three and it’s open world but would have preferred keeping Sims two only with an open world.
