Anyways I started watching GH, because of this storyline. My mom used to have the ABC soaps on while she was getting ready for work. Then she would leave and they would still be playing on the TV. I remember looking up at the television at the age of 11, while working on my homework and I caught a glimpse of this poor guy bleeding in the snow. I was just staring at the T.V., completely hooked and just waiting for someone to find him. I had no idea then, that it would be Elizabeth to find him. And that I would soon be following the on and off saga of their relationship for the next 20 years of my life. GH is one of those things that I always find myself coming back to after a while, just to check up on Liz mostly. For now, I like her relationship with Franco, it seems really healthy for her which is a nice change for the character. I'd be lying if I said I was a fan of Sam though. I am not, so I don't really pay attention to Jason anymore, even though I do like Kelly Monaco. I mean her no disrespect. I will always love Becky and Steve's chemistry though. And if there is ever a chance for them to float back to one another once more, then I'd be watching this religiously until the inevitable end comes for them again. I'm such a sucker for Liz & Jason, even to this day. This clip will always be one of my favorites in ever. Well at least they brought Jake back!
Jason was always cleaning up their messes. He complained about the Q's b/c they wanted him to be Jason Q, but Carly and Sonny wanted him to put them first.
I liked that Jason know what Carly was cable of.I just wished that Jason did not get hurt because of Carly and her lies and sleep with sonny so he told Carly things that needed to be said a long time ago
Carly was a delicious trainwreck, but I do think that Jarly loved each other. In those moments between Carly's schemes and general stupidity, there was a relationship there that provided focus and purpose for both Jason and Carly. Michael helped to make their bond more complete and provided a focus to unify Jarly in all the madness. But, I def believe the writers intended to show that Jarly loved each other. There was a boat load of what-if's with Jarly, and if one small point had been different here or there, they would've been great. The key was the presence and performances of SJB. She was the key, and in the hands of a lesser actress, Jarly wouldn't have popped off the screen in such dramatic style. Sarah deserves so much credit for her performances in the character's earlier storylines. She was phenomenal.
And this is how its always been since day one. Carly only caring a out herself, and Elizabeth caring about whats best for Jason. I never understood how they kept up with the whole BS of Carly and Jason being BFFS. He was hers, she was NEVER his. Its the same thing they did with Jason and Sam. Hes always just done what he was told, cleaned up after Carly and Sonny. If you really think about it, its really sad. Sonny and Carly got to do whatever they wanted, while Jason? Jason just did what was easy for them. Elizabeth and Jason are soulmates. And because Carly and even Sonny, the writers didn't like Elizabeth(Rebecca) Jason lost out on what i believe would have been the greatest love story ever told on GH.

Renee Gonzales you are right, I was a huge Elizabeth fan during this time, she became more and more of a hypocrite. I don’t care for the Franco character how’re I love roger and Liz and Franco fit. The liason boat sailed a long time ago lucky and Liz was the epic pairing. Liz and Jason died with her sleeping with Zander. Sam is Jason’s soulmate! She always fought for him more than she fought for herself, she never judged him and always accepted him. She only hurt him after her continuously pushed her away; she was shot and almost died, she woke up to Alexis and Jason blowing up the only life and family she had. Jason so easily hurt her without any explanation or any time for her to recover and process what was happening. And Alexis controlled her life and treated her like trash the whole time. Jason knee sdm had deep rooted abandonment issues and insecurities. I am not saying her sleeping with rick was right, but it was fitting for her state of mind, she was leaving town for good, she was honest with Jason and never tried to cover it up or blame him even though it was his fought. Then the writers destroyed her character to attempt to recreate liason 2.0 but Sam was the better fit and had way more chemistry, plus their story fit Jason’s life better. So all the Sam haters need to rewatch Jason’s gusty from the time he woke up in 97. Robinvand Jason was great, Carly and Jason could have been one of the greatest love stories of all time, she was the one who really knew him and he kept all his secrets she was just too volatile, then came Liz another great live story and the making but too much outside baggage. Courtney was good, but Sam is the ultimate perfect person for Jason, she loves him without reservation, she utterly accepts him, she will never betray him like the others did and will do with the exception of Carly now. Sam is everything Carly is and more because he completely trust Sam to never hurt him the way the others have with revocation....not counting the 2006/2007 crap!

Hes always just done what he was told, cleaned up after Carly and Sonny. If you really think about it, its really sad. Sonny and Carly got to do whatever they wanted, while Jason? Jason just did what was easy for them. Elizabeth and Jason are soulmates. And because Carly and even Sonny, the writers didn't like Elizabeth(Rebecca) Jason lost out on what i believe would have been the greatest love story ever told on GH.

Elizabeth 💚 freaking amazing here ... It Hurts to see what she's become, I choose to remember her this way though .... Carly is a force of nature and Liz went toe to toe with her .... And she was younger, Carly can be intimidating but not Liz ... She was in her prime right here ...before lucky came back he should've claimed her right here and now he missed the opportunity but it happens to the best of us

November the 14th I just want to make sure the writers of General Hospital understand I don't know where you guys get off writing a script that shows Jason madly in love with Sam you guys need to look at all the old Series where all we see is chemistry be between Elizabeth and Jason who are you trying to fool us it's not going to work we've looked at all the old one episodes and that's what we see Sam never had that chemistry with Jason and it's getting really stupid that you're trying to make it look like that you guys got to do a little bit more better riding cuz it's Elizabeth that always showed their affection for each other we don't want to Lizabeth with Jason but we don't want to see lies on the episode it was never that kind of

Renee Gonzales you are right, I was a huge Elizabeth fan during this time, she became more and more of a hypocrite. I don’t care for the Franco character how’re I love roger and Liz and Franco fit. The liason boat sailed a long time ago lucky and Liz was the epic pairing. Liz and Jason died with her sleeping with Zander. Sam is Jason’s soulmate! She always fought for him more than she fought for herself, she never judged him and always accepted him. She only hurt him after her continuously pushed her away; she was shot and almost died, she woke up to Alexis and Jason blowing up the only life and family she had. Jason so easily hurt her without any explanation or any time for her to recover and process what was happening. And Alexis controlled her life and treated her like trash the whole time. Jason knee sdm had deep rooted abandonment issues and insecurities. I am not saying her sleeping with rick was right, but it was fitting for her state of mind, she was leaving town for good, she was honest with Jason and never tried to cover it up or blame him even though it was his fought. Then the writers destroyed her character to attempt to recreate liason 2.0 but Sam was the better fit and had way more chemistry, plus their story fit Jason’s life better. So all the Sam haters need to rewatch Jason’s gusty from the time he woke up in 97. Robinvand Jason was great, Carly and Jason could have been one of the greatest love stories of all time, she was the one who really knew him and he kept all his secrets she was just too volatile, then came Liz another great live story and the making but too much outside baggage. Courtney was good, but Sam is the ultimate perfect person for Jason, she loves him without reservation, she utterly accepts him, she will never betray him like the others did and will do with the exception of Carly now. Sam is everything Carly is and more because he completely trust Sam to never hurt him the way the others have with revocation....not counting the 2006/2007 crap!
@@lhg2designs160 I disagree re: Sam. After all the horrible things she did surrounding Jake, Jason should have never gotten back with her. She hated his son. A parent should never forget that. Jason deserved so much better than some chick who slept with men for money. And no, the Danny excuse was ridiculous. She admitted she liked conning men. Ewww. I hate Sam. Sleeping with your mother's husband when she's dying of cancer and you don't even care about your sisters shows how selfish and gross she was. Having a one-night stand would have been appropriate...Ric...so not appropriate. Jesus, she hurt Jason so badly back then. Then after they got married, she ended up kissing a cop who was trying to bring down the organization. What ride or die chick does that? So, anytime Sam is hurt then she just does the dirtiest thing she can think of an rationalizes it? Grow up! Then after he returned from the dead, she treated him like utter crap. I was so upset that Jason wasn't even allowed to be mad about it. She didn't even choose him and then when she finally did she was wishy-washy. He is never allowed to truly stand up to these horrid women in his life that act like they don't even care about his feelings. She acted like his feelings didn't matter at all, just like Liz and Carly have done in the past. Sam didn't always 100% support Jason's lifestyle either. There were times she wanted him out of the business. So, no, Sam is the most imperfect person there is and frankly, I would love to see Jason with someone new. Sam is going to get him killed. She is always doing something stupid to have to get rescued. It's funny, because in the past, the thing I liked about his non-mafia loving girlfriends was that he could escape. All day he is putting out fires and protecting Sonny etc. Sam finds trouble. I wanted him with someone who he could just relax with, not one who puts herself in endless precarious situations and doesn't think. Sam has hurt Jason numerous amounts of times. You can't just not count their history. We all watched it and it's messy. They are no fairytale, that is for sure. I can't ever imagine liking Sam. She barely has a personality and always looks so miserable. They kind of cancel each other out. Besides, I swear Carly comes first with him which is must mind-numbing after all she's done.
