Totally agree. If the writers had followed the chemistry instead of their agendas these two would be have been known as a soap super couple. Just a hint-when I watch the clips I don’t go further than the the one when they get engaged (scene endswith beepers ringing about Michael being shot) but by stopping there I can live in an alternate universe where they live happily ever after.
I've watched many Jason and Liz clips. I see and love the chemistry. I've even said that they had it from the beginning. After watching this clip, its more true than ever. They are absolutely HOT. Oh how I miss them being together

Rewatching all these old clips you can kind of understand why Elizabeth got to be such a mess. After everything she went through with Lucky and others' breaking her trust, I think she's afraid of ever allowing herself to get too comfortable and completely trust anyone again. They really dropped the ball with her and Jason right here though. They should've let them be happy.

Until one day, after years of abuse, and catching Lucky with Maxie she DID have enough of Lucky's crap, and found Jason! And he is like, oh no girl, I waited long enough, your not leaving this time!! It would have been funny if she had 3 or 4 of Jason's kids!

love how he knew exactly what she needed when she first started destroying things. As soon as she started destroying things, he didn't try and stop her or talk her into calming down, he immediately went for the empty canvas and said "Elizabeth, take your best shot, rip this thing up!" He really understood how she felt, and knew exactly what she needed. Not to calm down, or be talked out of destroying stuff, but to be destructive and get it all out of her system. And absolutely love how he was TOTALLY into making out and really understood why she didn't want to go through with it. She didn't want to use him to get revenge on the people who hurt her. Just like Jason had said years later the day after the NOP. He told Sam, "you know I don't play games like that, and I wouldn't use Elizabeth." They care so deeply for each other and love each other, they always have. Really love how Jason was really understanding about everything, even though he totally would have had sex with her if she hadn't stopped herself. He's always felt a strong attraction to her, and has always understood her more than anyone else has. I think it's because they are so much alike. Now don't get me wrong, their lifestyles are completely different, but how they feel inside, both from the past before they met, and at the times that they're together, they understand each other so well. They both know what it's like to feel what they feel. They have an amazing understanding of who each other are inside and I think that is what makes them work so damn well. Miss this couple so much, wish I could see them like this again, there was so much passion and different levels of love here! Love Liason so much!

They’re writing crappy lines for them to say. Like how they had Jason say him and Sam have “a kind of love that just is”, which is total bull, if anyone has a love that “just is” it’s Elizabeth and Jason. How many times over the years has Jason never really let Liz know he loved her but always said “you know how I feel about you” or “don’t you know what you are to me” or even, “I couldn’t take it if something happened to you”. That is the true definition of a kind of love that just is. Jason and Elizabeth’s love was a kind of love that just is, it was never really been able to be formed into the right words, but it was always there, their feelings for each other was something that just was, neither of them could truly explain how they felt for each other. But they both felt the same way towards each other, even if neither of them could truly admit it out loud. That is the true definition of a kind of love that “just is”. The writers saying that Spam and Jason have a love that just is, is a total load of crap.
After this scene the writers should have made them a real couple. They were both free and their relationship should have been explored. Too many excuses by the writers for them not to be together. They were magic!

I also loved how Jason asked if she still had the picture of the wind and she said but it wasn’t right or something and he said: “it’s mine. “Did he end up taking a picture of the wind? Or was it still in the studio? I also love how Elizabeth was telling Jason that she didn’t have to pretend that Christmas they spent together. She was just happy. That’s one of the things I always loved about their relationship with a romantic or just friends is how Elizabeth could always be her self around Jason no judgments and no questions asked. He would let her do whatever she felt she needed to do and was always there for her in the same went for Jason. Elizabeth never judge Jason and was always there to listen and of course take care of him. :-)

At this point I don't think Jason needed a reason, He was in her studio, it was dark, she was upset and he was willing and able to provide comfort. I don't think that he was even listening too much to the Sarah/Lucky garbage (I know I wasn't) he was totally into it. I am surprised he got her to the couch before she stopped.

Even after he almost destroyed her trying to protect her, she still loved him. And he finally realized that she was the one he loved and quit the games about protecting her and committed to her. They had some ups and downs but have always found their way back to her.

I love Liason, but the writers should have gone back to this clip during the NOP. Jason asks if she ever thought of what is, and she said if I didn't run away or if I went with you to Italy and he says yes. Her reply was Yeah, I do, What about you. He says of course. He was her friend, and wanted to help her with whatever problems she was having over Lucky. Back then, it was mainly needing help getting over Lucky and dealing with his "death". He would just listen to her rant and say whatever it was she had to say about him because he thought maybe it would help her get it all off of her chest. He only had a problem with it when Lucky "came back from the dead" and he started to have feelings for Liz. When she would go back and forth between staying with Lucky, or starting something new with him. That's when he started to mind Liz talk about Lucky. Because it was hard for him to have these feelings for Liz, want to be with her, but yet have her start and then stop and say she changes her mind that she should stay with lucky. And even then, he still listened to whatever it was she had to say and still tried to help her choose between them two. Jason may not have liked talking about Lucky, because he had feelings for her, but he still did it anyway because he still cared a lot about Liz and he'd do anything for her.
Elizabeth must have been deeply, deeply in love with Lucky because she always put up with his crap, when Jason was right there so many times ready to just step in for her. The night she got pregnant with Jake, he was the one who grabbed her and started making out with her. He tells Spinelli at one in 2007 that he has always wanted Elizabeth. And counting all their years of closeness and saving each other's lives made sense that he did.
It's so cute when he tells her she can chnage her mind again, he has a lot of self control but also a lot of respect for Elizabeth.

Lucky and Sarah having sex has nothing to do with Liz. Because Liz got over Lucky and wanted to get back together with Jason which means she has every right to move on and be with Jason but the writers messed it up for no damn reason at all.

I love Liason, but the writers should have gone back to this clip during the NOP. Jason asks if she ever thought of what is, and she said if I didn't run away or if I went with you to Italy and he says yes. Her reply was Yeah, I do, What about you. He says of course. But that's not what he says here.
Elizabeth’s character was not supposed to be a good girl. According to an article I read, she was supposed to be a good girl who tries and fails to overcome her bad side.

Edward A. Because what we say and what we really feel are often times two very different things. Sometimes before you really feel over something you have to keep saying you are to yourself and to others until eventually with time you are.
As much as I don't want Liz with Jason, I can't deny their chemistry. I'm just not a Liz fan.

Actually he loved listening to Liz and her problems. It was Carly he would get annoyed with having to listen to her and her problems. No problems with Liz. He loved to listen to her and help her with whatever he could.
angien306 I don’t believe he enjoyed listening to her talk about Lucky. He liked listening to her about her paintings, what she wanted to d. But not Lucky. Jason is not a masochist. He does not enjoy that sort of pain.

@@beegee1960 he didn't mind her talking about Lucky in the beginning, before Lucky "came back from the dead". He was her friend, and wanted to help her with whatever problems she was having over Lucky. Back then, it was mainly needing help getting over Lucky and dealing with his "death". He didn't mind helping her try to get over him at all. He would just listen to her rant and say whatever it was she had to say about him because he thought maybe it would help her get it all off of her chest. He only had a problem with it when Lucky "came back from the dead" and he started to have feelings for Liz. When she would go back and forth between staying with Lucky, or starting something new with him. That's when he started to mind Liz talk about Lucky. Because it was hard for him to have these feelings for Liz, want to be with her, but yet have her start and then stop and say she changes her mind that she should stay with lucky. And even then, he still listened to whatever it was she had to say and still tried to help her choose between them two. Jason may not have liked talking about Lucky, because he had feelings for her, but he still did it anyway because he still cared a lot about Liz and he'd do anything for her.
He does the same thing with her when it comes to the women in his life like Sam and carly
Elizabeth must have been deeply, deeply in love with Lucky because she always put up with his crap, when Jason was right there so many times ready to just step in for her. The night she got pregnant with Jake, he was the one who grabbed her and started making out with her. He tells Spinelli at one in 2007 that he has always wanted Elizabeth. And counting all their years of closeness and saving each other's lives made sense that he did.
