So what happened to Theresa between being childless and having children that tipped the scales? A person doesn't just go from "normal" to extremely paranoid overnite. I think it's weird that schizophrenics hear negative, insulting voices that command them to do absolutely horrible things...while Shamans have basically all of the same "symptoms" of schizophrenia, but the voices they hear are positive, friendly, and helpful.
But nobody should EVER leave children alone with an unmedicated schizophrenic! I don't understand why that father thought it would be ok to leave his three children alone with a crazy, obsessive, control freak who was clearly mentally ill. I understand him leaving her...but he should have taken the children with him the day he left.

Ma'am I am a schizophrenic and have been dealing with since I was 4 to 5 years old.
I have automatically only schizophrenic among other various mental illnesses I got from being born premature (I weighed exactly one pound twelve ounces and was thirteen inches long on Tuesday August 5th 1980 at 2:04 am Pacific Standard Time.
Believe the voices I hear are absolutely horrible.
But thanks to having Adult ADD and Adult ADD it's hard to stay focused on it, that or anything else.
Thanks to having ADHD and ADD I find every difficult to pay attention to anything or anyone whether its for long or even short periods of time.
So my ADHD and ADD both work for and against me.
I hope that helps anyone with schizophrenic or anything else mental health related

Yeah that also hits different for me. I've struggled with severe mental health issues all my life. It runs in both sides of my family too. If you're in psychosis, it's really not your fault. You don't have control and you don't realize what's happening at the time. I do however feel that it's your responsibility to take ur meds and keep your Dr's appointments. Its tricky when not taking meds is part of the delusion tho. She should have been committed until stable enough to take meds on her own. We count on our loved ones during this time to get us the help we NEED when we can't do it ourselves.

The mom should be in the mental ward so the lives of her three children would still be here today. When she couldn't have her way she killed the children to hit at her husband. Hope she gets what she deserves behind bars. She was a crazy ol witch!!
