It should be a crime everywhere because of the damage it causes to so many people. Cheating leads to the death of ones self esteem and ability to trust. It destroys families and leads to people losing the faith that love exists. In some cases it involves stealing or the mismanagement of funds. Plenty of men have preferred to fund the mistress’ life and leave their wife and kids with few or no resources.

20 years? That’s nothing for the lives she destroyed. She was cheated on, yes. That’s on her husband. But everything else is on her. She could’ve walked away and began a new life with someone who actually treated her right - instead she did this. To her own daughter too. I don’t think that she just “broke”. I think she was a monster all along, it’s just that until then, everything went well enough to not awaken that monster. A disgusting waste of space, that woman. I feel sorry for her daughter.
