I knew Gary's mom LONG before I knew the details of this story. I knew Gary was a cop, I knew he died on duty, I knew his mama went to the annual awards ceremony for police. I remember the first time I saw this episode and FINALLY put 2 and 2 together. I cried so hard. Mama Etta was a lovely, lovely lady. As a mama now, I can't imagine the pain she carried. Rest in peace Gary and Ms. Etta. I know you were so happy to see your baby again.

Sadly because alot of times kids become ether nothing like their parents or they become a project of their environment and end up exactly like them , it depends on how it emotionally affects them, with mental health if someone mentally ill & unmedicated snaps it can go 3 ways , they go silent, get violent or retreat x

Bustamonte's interview was intense. I felt so sorry for the grandmother. Her cries when she found out that her beloved granddaughter had killed an 8 year old still haunt me. The interview is on YT, and it IS fascinating, if not sad, so go watch if you're interested.
Robbing people for "used" clothes is a tell-tale sign that her aspirations weren't very high. In the end she never got to even wear the coat for long..smh..senseless

@@BlmnotinAfri.-_- It will be suggested sure but since the pre frontal cortex doesn’t stop developing until the early 20’s an official diagnosis is rarely made in a child. Usually they are diagnosed with a defiant disorder and then antisocial personality disorder when they reach adulthood. Not that it really matters in the end… There’s no treatment or medication either way.

It so terrible to see the effects of poverty, drug abuse and physical and emotional abuse.
Sadly drugs don't only effect families of color, but all colors, cultures and most especially the impoverished. All these crimes were done by little more than children.
Please, don't believe everything they say in these videos. Those who experienced difficult childhood are not more dangerous than anyone else. There's no childhood experience bad enough to make a murderer. One needs to born with these tendencies in their personality.
I agree about the drugs though. They alter the brain and most of the crimes are linked to the use of drug and alcohol. Sadly, this is not as popular subject as the false claim about difficult childhood.
