A video comparing every F1 game from 2010 to 2016 released on PC by Codemasters on hotlaps around Spa, Belgium.
This video is just a comparison of game graphics, control and realism over one lap, not a hotlap or driving tutorial.

F1 2010 is probably the game I loved more in my life
F1 2014 doesn't have poor engine sound, the Real formula1 cars had poor engine sound that year. So it's pretty accurate.
TV cam makes the engines sound awfull. On the track they sound pretty decent, but not lol 2013 that's sure.

Fuck off. Listen to even one onboard from that year, they’re completely different to the wheelnut gun sounds in F1 2014.

F1 2010 is great, but F1 2016 is better... carrer mode in this game is awesome :)

I fell in love with 2010 and no matter how much I've played the newer ones I kept coming back to it. I been playing 2010 for the past few days in years and I can't still get enough of it.
2010 was my favourite, not the best game in the series but for the sheer enjoyment season after season it's my choice

It still astounds me how Codemaster's had the absolute cheek to release 2015 in such a broken state and with no features whatsoever. LMFAO! Even with the amount of patches that it had, it was never fixed, plus trying to convince us that pro season was a feature LOL! When in reality it was just season mode in cockpit cam. Bunch of jokers! LOL! At least they've done a good effort with 2016, which is slowly erasing from my memory the absolute steaming pile of horse shit that was 2015

To be fair to them, they said they were limited by FOM and FOM wouldn't budge of having features like 2016 has now, you can't fully put the blame on CM they did try..
Ok, say they were limited when it came to content for 2015, it still doesn't excuse them for releasing such a broken game. Don't think I've played a game with as many glitches as 2015, not that I can remember anyway. It doesn't matter now though, they've done a decent job with 2016 and hopefully it can only get better. Fingers crossed they don't take a step backwards
yes I agree about glitches, but when it comes to features it's largely down to FOM, they just need to build in the current product for future games, 2016 is mountains better

Codemasters is doing in my opinion a great job with those games. its not simulation but its cool and really fun

Brilliant video mate. I've always been more of a MotoGP fan, but racing is racing, right? Had so much fun playing the older F1 games and it's amazing to see how it looks now. I think it's time to go back in the car for a change :P

great video dude. It's been a while since I've played some F1 so this was a great watch. For your next video, it would be awesome to some scrolling through the different cameras so we can see the kick ass changes over the years with how they do the exteriors and all that. But yeh the F1 2016 looks UNREAL. I'd just love it and BUY IT in a heartbeat if they did the full 2004 (or any Golden V10 year for that matter) in it's entirety with all the tracks, teams, sponsors and so on from that season but with the graphics and gameplay of 2015. On a side note, how is the AI in these F1's. Coz the last F1 I played was 2012 and I couldn't go on enough about how realistic the AI's were, they made true race driver moves for overtaking and just the way they drove in general (I used to race competition Rotax Karts) :D Great vid once again man.

I always made a wide entry in Yas Marinas turn 11 on the unused pit exit. until they introduced the engine cutting when you track extend/spin off

in f1 2016 you can do This again
My PC must have a sound problem from "F1 2014" and thus 9:23. From there, I seem to hear lawn mowers and not F1 cars... ^^

my favorite from least to most favorite , F1 2014 (not played it ), F1 2011 , F1 2010 , 2015, f1 2012 , f1 2013 , F1 2016
I don't think much of f1 2013, driving is awful, not enough practice sessions to learn the game properly, and scenario mode was a complete waste of time. In fact end I only played f1 2013 for the classic cars, it's the game's only saving grace
By not playing F1 2014, you have not missed anything, trust me.
Get a wheel and pedals, its so much better. You'll never want to use a gamepad ever again. Nice video.
I haven't played f1 2016 game but from the video i can properly see that 2016 has best control yet and obviously engine sound is awesome

F1 2013 and 14 were same background/tracks/CLOUDS with different cars. You had the same effects every season.
Well the amount of seconds you gain or lose on the Delta in real time is very smart ! The ATH design from 2015 to 2016 changes a lot too and its way more beautiful in 2016.

This reminded me about how much easier it was to drive the car in f1 2010 compared to now. Dont get me wrong, i love the limited traction control you have even when on full assist. Makes it feel more realistic to me because you have to ease the gas in a corner to get a good exit.

f1 2013 is the best. When you drive the old cars you can actually feel the primitive power of the cars and how much skill it takes to drive them. Awesome games.

F1 2016 overall best graphics up-to-date , yes . But the tires are way too glossy. You got dirt on the camera lens but the tires are always slick. wtf

nice vid. i personally likes your input on the different games. 2016 is a seriously good game. with some work on the track details and an option for much more detailed crowds and trackside ( for those of us with the right hardware ;) ) 2017 could be visually amazing, we already know its going to play well they cant go far wrong if they just tweak and improve.

On F1 2016 they even took care of the different sound of the Mclaren Honda. When you downshift while using that car, or when the IA downshifts near you, you'll hear a kinda burpy sound, just like the real one... It's a nice detail, which wasn't present on previous games.
-I love the sound BTW, sounds just like the now banned blown Diffusers- Sadly they aint getting nowhere with the "GP2 Engine" :v

The engine sounds were getting better game by game, then along comes the hybrid era to fuck it all up.
I have the f1 2010 and I have a Question... did they change the fact that when you play a race of let's say 25 laps, the other drivers are making like 20 laps with the option tyres while you can make only 8?? (I know the types of tyres has changed but it should be the same thing with the super soft tyres)
