2013 is my favorite, the last year of V8 engines and the first game with classic cars and tracks
The tyre wear and AI not being fair, were two things that ruined this game for me.

As far as I understand from your video, the best F1 games are:
1-F1 2020
2-F1 2018
3-F1 2013
4-F1 2012

This game series is really outstanding, full package and fun. Some games are not the best , but out of the box they deliver the best f1 experience and I tried all the games. The new game has the best gameplay and simulation, but I still miss championship mode and classic cars (f1 2013 style)

F1 2010 my favourite and first. The music. The vibes, just wow. Loved it as a little teen

Unfortunately, I do not have F1 2009, nor do I have a Wii or PSP to play it on. Whilst I could download an emulator, I simply do not want to.
Besides, this is a PC only showcase. 2009 never released on PC.
F1 2019 if not have good sound, is last game from series with more hystoric cars, and is more enough to be liked

0:33 - that's simply not true. I remember that time very well, and F1 2010, GRID or Colin McRae DiRT (1) had AMAZING graphics for the time. And in this particular era, no one cared about washed out colours, as it was a common theme among a lot of games in the times of 7th generation of consoles.
If im not wrong the major difference started in 2016 and in 2019-20 as the game engines where changed also i think there are 2versions of f1 2015
There was only one version of 2015. That's where the then new version of the Ego engine was introduced.
i waited and waited for this game to unlock on steam back in 2010 with my nvidia gts 250 1gb form sparkle, and waited and waited then finally after midnight it unlocked, then we got the end credits tune chase and status did, which was the supporting sound track for the film harry brown and you got the fear tune, it was fuckin amazing, such a well put together package, now its copy and paste copy and paste assets from previous games.
i was bowled over by how fuckin great this game was, all we had before was the ps3 f1 game at that time so i was glad it went multiplat ,a testament to codies for the first game, that inevitably went down hill there after.
you still wont beat the coding of Geoff Crammonds gp4 no body can, even to this day there still isn't any fire Marshalls on the track side attending crashes or crane animations or proper race incidents, like GP4,hence so many mods and updates even now for it.
f1 2010 has a place in my memory i will always keep because it was a time where i started thinking about pc gaming and just feeling happy with life, shame i don't feel this way anymore.
thanks to steam i still have this game in my library, the very same game i bought that same night i waited to unlock, not allot of people can say that especially console gamers, which unless you own a ps3 or a 360 that functions you never will, ill fire it up now and then just for the nostalgia just to hear "you got the fear" on the title screen.

The biggest change that this game has had in all these years is the interface and the second is the halo.

What gpu do you have? I can run the latest f1 games easily at 1440p ultra with my ryzen 3600+RX 6700.
AT the time of this video I was using an i7-2600 with a GTX 1050Ti. I now have an i7-13700K with an RTX 4070. The next version of this video will be much better.
I saw that in F1 2012 and 2013 you have the helmets positioned higher than normal. It's so annoying. Somehow, I resolved this little problem by turning on the V-Sync :)

No I have not.
For me f1 23 has the best gameplay. Red flags are back, the 35% race length is better than i expected. But the attetion to details is for me the biggest deal, like tyre degradation or geeting dirt while driving outside the racing line and depending how dirt the track is , causes the car to lose some speed. The curbs react like real curbs, you can get stuck in one of them. The ffb is great , of course the handling. They really moved towards simulation this year. Sadly the game modes are the same since F1 2021. No championship mode only grand prix. No classic cars or f3 (would be great). I dont give a s... about story mode. Wont support this mode. The best would be something lile motogp, somekind of documentary.
The misinformation starts with Games for Windows - LIVE, as its servers are still up and actually you can play f1 2010 and 11 online on pc even today, this is because Games for Windows LIVE uses the same backend as Xbox 360, so it will be online until the 360 is offline
I started playing F1 games from F1-2014. Tried 2013, found it relatively better. Then skipped 15,16 and played 17. Was meh. Tried 18 and I loved it so much I didn't bother with any other entry until F1 2020 which is by far the best. Never tried 21 and 22 had bad reviews but on a free weekend I found that handling was somehow worse. Haven't tried 23, hoping it'll be good.

This game series hasnt aged well, what i mean by that is the sheer lack of progress in th graphics is astonishing. F1 23 looks a bit better than f1 2010. The environments have barely changed and the cars still have that toy ish look.

Can anyone please explain how you can make the cars easier to handle? I have 2010, 2011 and 2013 on ps3. On all these games handling is awful with ALL the assists available turned on. I'm not good enough without assists in F1 games, and everytime I loose control over the car. The only game I can manage on ps3 is F1 championship edition! (2006 season). And I use hand controller. If anyone can help I would appreciate it 😊

Why is there an option to make the TV pod camera move like I was sitting there myself? I, understand that such a movement makes the cockpit view more immersive, but god! I can't imagine the real onboard camera moving the same way on TV 😂

No, that's how I play in fact 😅 I mean, erm, when the camera seems to keep going forward on braking. Is that the "Camera movement" option? I don't know, I set both Movement and Shake to 0 as soon as I change cars 😅
I think it might be the camera movement option. It does look much more stable in the later games.

You get around 40 to 50 fps when you get f1 2020 to f1 23 i think
Get RTX 4090 to get great graphics and the way you intended.

THERE IS A FEATURE, WHERE YOU CAN CHANGE IT THROUGH EVERY GAMEMODE, IT'S NOT A BUG
It was a bug at the time of recording. No matter what I did, I could not change anything on the HUD in time trial, but it was fine in races.
I also thought it was a bug.
But then I saw, that nobody else had this problem. So I went to that setting again, and I saw something like (Gamemode) down below, and from that point I knew that it wasn't a bug
@@iJohn_YT In that case it didn't affect you. I have an unlisted video that I submitted with a bug report. Hell, ut was even in the patch notes a while back. 1.05 I think.

f1 23 also feels more optimized compared to f1 22, f1 23 runs alot better on my laptop.

What I'm missing is when I win a race I'm happy and that's not the case in the game, I have the impression that they're not happy at all, the faces are dead as always, no emotions to be seen. Why do they do it like that?
From the beginning to today nothing has ever changed. Maybe the people who work at Codemasters aren't happy either. Who knows.
I think the F1 that really has the intention is the F1 23, the other F1 10 don't seem to have the intention

The first F1 game by Codemasters was F1 2009 not F1 2010 and I know is not a good game and a lot of people have prefer to forget this game but he remais at the first F1 by Codies

To be fair, I'm not using the full graphics settings of the new game in this video. The next video will be using each game at maximum possible graphics due to my new PC.

These new games have really bad crash physics, only the front wing and the tires can be broken, the tire barriers are still rock hard, in big accidents the cars are too heavy and are always stuck to the ground (very boring), i miss the Fun, they don't deserve my money.
It's really a shame that from 2018 onwards they didn't implement the possibility to make the halo transparent. It completely ruins the whole driving experience in my opinion

@@still_guns yes, it would have been nice for players to choose if they wanted the halo to be visible or in the transparent mode. i immagine an option on the menu where u disabled the visibility of the halo. this halo thing literally ruin the whole game

Ah yes, the safety device that has saved a number of drivers over the years and that everyone has got used to by now is the real problem with the F1 games, and totally not the various other game breaking issues.
@@still_gunsexactly, honestly some people lack the brain capacity to understand how valuable the halo is, imo I think the cars look better with it, they look cooler and more modern and futuristic like, anything without the halo looks pretty old and outdated but still good enough for me.
