Gotta love the small dash 8! 😁
Same!
I use this service all the time as I live in Griffith, but I just can’t justify Qantas.
If I fly interstate I go to Canberra and use virgin (for velocity) but it’s a great service for a quick trip to Sydney
Good to see some smaller turbo prop planes
Need to serve the big bosses with their plantations. :) Nice video! You think they’d upgrade these planes with larger ones or no need?
No need it’s only meant for regional ports won’t be changing them anytime soon
In europe we have a bit akward relationship with the dash 8 (The video from Aalborg explains It).
Yeah I bet
What a ridicules amount of on-board food. I love it! You would be lucky to get a bottle of water on a flight that length here in the US.
Another reason why Australian airlines are better haha
Great review Luke, that's a rediclouous amount of snacks you got offered there! I agree about the security lack there off - meanwhile in NZ you can get Dash 8 -400 and ATR 72 flights right out of the major city airports with no security screening (in theory aircraft under 90 seats don't require security!)
So much food…
They must have shoved all the extra food onto the passengers to make up for the 3hr delay.
😂
lol I’m not sure that was the reason haha
Slight miss - you said the runway was 1704ft it’s actually 1704meters. Comes out to 5591ft (just over a mile).
Oop, I did not realise I said that
Nice review mate, I always used to think how out of proportion all the features on this plane looked lol
I agree it looks very bizarre, but I like it
In my opinion I feel like every airport around the world should have security now you can't really do much with a Dash 8 but by the looks of it you could get a weapon onto that plane and then use it on another flight with a bigger plane obviously there are still precautions but I feel like every airport should have security
Couldn't agree with you more
Last September i flew from Boston to Los Angeles on Delta and wasn't given that much to eat or drink.
It was pretty ridiculous
This is quite excessive service for this flight length, in my opinion this is the amount of food you would get in Economy on a 2 hour flight lol.
Maybe cause it was Christmas? Not sure
Can’t believe there is no security in Griffith. If someone wanted to connect directly onto another Qantas flight could they do that? Avoiding security all together 🧐🧐🧐
They get screened upon arrival at Sydney Airpor, I work for qantas link based at Sydney Airport
sheriff says it all, all pax are screen upon entering the building (for connections)
Haha sweet that makes sense
@@YoungAussieFlyer thanks young Aussie flyer hopefully I get to meet you airside soon QantasLink
@@Coolwow437 won’t be for a while as I’m taking a break from flying, however you just gotta look out for me
where was the a220?
You’re not looking hard enough! Haha, there is a single frame during the taxi back to the gate where you can just see the new a220
