@@som3body3 I'm pretty sure that the Stig said that the car needed a spoiler to help stop the back end flying out on every turn, which the people who worked on the car agreed with.
Look at car throttles podcast, they had one of the longest stings on, he's a stunt driver. If interested at all in the stig I don't think you should miss that episode!

I was going to say about how cars are usually fitted to the steam catapult for the carrier, but I did see the can on the back lid after the 2nd watch through. Thats also a British carrier, and the American navy would cowboy it up a bit so yours makes more sense
You're aren't getting the full potential out of a car if you aren't pushing it right to the limit. And that's a professional race car driver's job. That's why the best drivers will sometimes spin. With a good car, they'll be able to recover when the car starts to get loose. But a bad car won't let you recover. The car just says "ok, you pushed me too hard, now I'm going to make you pay!"

The best fail is the Stig taking a hot lap in some agricultural tractors and fell out of the seat of one going through a turn. That’s the hardest I laughed watching that show and I loved the show with Clarkson, Hammond, and May.
Schumacher was not the stig, it was Ben Collins... Schumacher taking off the stig helmet was done for whatever reason, but he was not the actual driver
To be fair, that wasn't a real Lancia Stratos. It was a kit car with an Alfa V6 bolted in the back. (Which actually made it more powerful than the original Stratos).
I love how he just jumps outta the car(a Ferrari to be precise) folds his arms,looks at the damn thing like it’s such a failure to him,you can tell he’s probably telling the folks at Ferrari that “That’s why I drive a Lambo”😂😉
The Stig is the ULTIMATE in driving even after a minor crash he shows no nerves or any aftershock. My favourite Stig has to be the latetest one (THE WHITE ONE) not because of him being in white just because he seems to show more BALLS in his driving whatever he's given to drive. From a snow ski off a, ski jump to a Koeneggzessge ( sorry if I know I have spelt it wrong but, I'm sure you all know, what I mean). I'd love to drive around that airfield ( track) with & without THE STIG & get my picture of him & myself together. ( if possible) as I know he's not one for having his picture taken of himself. It's on my bucket list to do this. One of a the last few things to do before I am unable to do anything at all.

I can assure you that it raise the value of the car.
Stig easily had the best job in the world. Miss seeing him thrash million dollar cars the way I thought I would when I grew up.
That's why they kept his ID secret and fired him when he revealed himself. Way less expensive to employ an anonymous driver.

Most of the backwards line cross are from the outtake. Not from the real power lap...
