Why isn't any1 talking about how beautifully performed that scene was when parizaad comes to say farewell to annie, when annie says "mujhe ziyada intezar may karwaiega" (meaning when she indirectly confesses her love to pari) she pauses stops weeping and waits for his reply and when he doesn't respond to her positively( for what ever reason) she bursts into tears realising that he doesn't share the same feelings towards her, and as she cannot see she probably thinks he doesn't love her...as much as i loved the attention to details and emotions expressed to perfection i fear this might indicate a bad ending...

Jo Bichar gai : My father was a major Posted to East Pakistan shortly before the 1971 war broke out . Yes the army was ordered not to retaliate and were left to fend for themselves in East Pak . The heads of state and Gen Yahya are mainly to be blamed for that . And Ofcourse India benefited by adding fuel to the fire . Not all Bengalis were for partition . My fathers best friend was a Bengali officer who was picked up by the Mukti Bahni. Before leaving he had instructed his wife to go to West Pak Incase he does not return … that was their last meeting …. The wife abided and left East Pak … still lives in Pindi ( although all her family had stayed back in Bangladesh ) there are countless such stories …. Am so glad after 50 years all this has been addressed in dramas as the youth needs to know . Wish my father was alive to watch them .

Jo Bichar Gaye: You can measure the success of a drama when it’s impossible to skip a single dialogue, let alone a scene, because you’re just glued to each and every nuance, sentiment, notion…brilliance personified…job well done to the entire team, especially the cast…I hope this opens the doors to similar storytelling that is clearly missing in Pakistani mainstream media…this drama deserves every award possible…

Jo Bichar Gaye: She is interested in Captain Farrukh. She calls him and hangs up...she has begun to have feelings for him. But Rumi is her cousin and probably they were friends earlier so she cares about him. She can see that Rumi really likes her but she is not interested in him and gets irritated because he keeps imposing his ideology on her. After dinner, when she sees that Rumi is getting hurt because of her inclination towards Captain Farrukh and because she can see that Rumi's ideology is failing him, she is concerned about Rumi, that's why she goes after him when Rumi leaves. Sometimes you may not be romantically inclined towards someone but you can certainly care about them.
Also, to answer your question about why the army looked weak there, it is because there was a distance of approximately 1,600 km between west and east pakistan plus the air routes and naval routes had also been blocked so sending aid by land, air or ship was not easy.

Wahaj’s ability to portray his emotions through his eyes is remarkable and we his fans believe that even without any dialogues he was able to show the emotions and heartbreak that Rumi was going through.
Apart from his expressions, the meaningful and strong dialogues he delivered are also another reason why we have fallen in love with Rumi

Dobara: I agree that Mehru saying yes to Ibtisam seemed out of character, but fact that she rushed to marry Mahir without her children's knowledge shows how is she mentally shackled and not making rational decisions. Even agreeing to her son marry into a seemingly-greedy family shows lack of mental clarity. I hope they highlight this psychological angle, as many people, after being in controlled relationships, experience effects in their future relationships. Anyway, another good episode and looking forward to Mehru and Mahir's journey!

P Z Mir preferred to remain the parizaad at heart, when he had the chance to become one physically. He is now on an unknown journey. He tried to act like Behroze while giving the order of killing Sharjeel. He is leaving because he thinks he is weak , and therefore not capable of handling the empire, whereas goodness is not weakness. Stopping yourself from sin when you have all the power to do it, is in fact strength, but certainly not in the underworld. He has chosen his path after experiencing wealth, power, and bowing down of the ones who wronged him. His decision should give him peace, not depression or complex. An end where Parizaad dies would be such a waste. The world needs , men with hearts of gold, even if the world is fictitious.

    • @ForlifeNA
      @ForlifeNA Před 2 lety +8

Yes infact give it a positive end.that would be the most perfect thing.as they say mayusi to deen mn bhi nhi h.and also "jo dusron ka bhala krte hn unky sath bhi acha hi hota h" parizaad k sary negative log kisi na kisi andaz mn badal gy ya ache ho gy..that is great and ab positive ending hogi tb hi ek umeed ayegi logon mn. ALLAH Ta'ala duniya mn hi reward de deta h. Koi insan chahe jitna dukhi or ghareeb ho uski zindagi mn ek khushi zarur ati h. So writer ko ab ye dikhana chahye k Parizaad ko bhi khushi wahaj se mili jahan se usy umeed nhi thi q k wo mayus ho gaya h puri trah. Kho jane wala.

The impact of sight vs sightlessnees is an overarching message of the play. Parizaad is able to see good in people as well as their limitations. Annie senses him through his words and poetry. Parizaad has developed these qualities by going beyond physical appearances, which has given him the ability to read others. Thus, he opts to retain his physical appearance rather go for cosmetic change as he is warned it will also change him internally. In episode 28 we see after Annie gains her eyesight she changes. She fails to recognise Parizaad whom she knows well and is even able to capture his vulerability in the sculpture she makes. Parizaad is attracted to Annie for her purity of feelings and ideas. In her he finds his match, however, physiacal change also brings about internal change. It is beautifully captured in the scene when Annie rushes past Parizaad to join Sarjeel. She is no longer encumbered by sightlessness and therefore does not have time to reflect and experience words and poetry.

I think one doesn’t come out of a shell and fly right away- one takes a few steps forward- few steps back and then continues again to move forward. Especially since mehrus independent attitude wasn’t received too well by her children- she was shown to be cautious- I found her thought process to be very believable

Dear Hassan Helicopters from West Pakistan would have to fly over India - enemy territory- to get to East Pakistan if they even had that much range! Choking off Army supply routes was a major factor in fall of Dhaka or better said Bangladesh independence. Amongst its other fabulous achievements JBG has managed to evoke our interest and curiosity about the 71 events probably the main goal of the drama. And about Sonia .. she is primarily an intelligent compassionate university student with a strong sense of justice and sensitivity to human suffering. She’s baffled and aggravated by events around her. Romance and personal intrigues are far from her mind. She absolutely loves Rumi and is disappointed by his rebellion and attracted to Captain Farrukh and committed to his political stance.

Dobara: I think the atrocious bridal dress was deliberate, reflecting on Sehers character basically... And that's why it was shown to be so tacky... As for Mehru choosing Iftesam, i dont think it was out of character... Wearing makeup and bright clothes, going for a jog or learning tennis or driving are but small steps, remarriage is like the DECISION and so she can falter a bit, she can hesitate a bit... No one's backing her, not even her daughter... Besides as Aamna said, Iftesam is nothing like her late husband,....

Answering Hassan's questions about JBG, the army had to fly through India to get there and they had suffocated them. This is explained in the drama.I saw Col Farrukh's interview and his voice was shaking talking about Sonia. It was heartbreaking to see a man still remembers and misses his love after 50 years. He told that all family of Sonia was murdered because of saving his life

India had very cleverly executed a false flag operation accusing Pakistan of sheltering Kashmiri freedom fighters. Due to this all air routes were blocked. The only way to supply was a very long sea journey.
We must remember that there were only 15-20,000 soldiers defending the East, plus 16 jets and 4 patrol vessels. 93,000 soldiers surrendering is all propoganda by India.

Aye Mustht e Khaaq: Dayyan was right when he said that Dua must be having some clue about Mustajab’s faith and gave a very sensible advice, “ Agar Khuda se mohabbat karti ho tu phir kisi ki mohabbat ko Khuda ki mohabbat par tarji mat do”. This is the pre requisite of ishq e haqiqi. Mustajab never hid his belief from Dua. He kept saying , “ tumhara God”. It is Dua’s fault. Being religious and doing masters in religion, she should have had a straight talk with him about his ideology before rukhsati and tell her family everything. She should have known that marrying an atheist, or an agnostic or even ehl e kitab is forbidden. She fell in love with the man. It would be a test of Dua’s emaan. Mustajab has already said that he considered Dua as his ‘ Malkiyat’. Anyway, a good subject, I hope they handle it carefully, with proper religious research.

After watching your review of Aye musht e khaak from last two times I cannot stop myself to tell you that the drama you are looking for on the topic of atheism is “wajood e Laraib” .. It was Umera Ahmed’s first drama serial.. and it was beautifully written and beautifully executed.. it is abour 15 years old.. but that exactly is the drama that Amna talk about.. That an atheist doesn’t have to be a bad guy.. and that was the case in the drama.. but it was about two individuals one who thinks that there is no God and the other individual who has a firm believe in God .. both good human beings..
But how chain of events make both of them lose faith in their faith.. and then get it back.. I don’t think you guys have seen this drama.. if you hadn’t you should consider watching it at some point.. and btw Laraib means “شک”
So wajood e laraib means “Existence of undoubted”
ایسا وجود جس میں شک نہ ہو۔
So this drama is considered as one on atheism.. unlike Aye musht e khaak which is indeed a story of a toxic lover..

    ❤️❤️🔥🔥🌟🌟
This episode was one of my favorite! No doubt all the previous episodes were poignant, meaningful, and powerful .The actors/actresses were all engaged with their characters, therefore it looked real and natural, but this one stole my heart….I have cried with Rumi, we could literally feel what he was going through, no doubt Wahaj Ali is the KING OF EXPRESSIONS, A huge round of applause for the entire Team for giving another mind blowing episode. CANT WAIT FOR EP:7

Bhutoo was greedy when he saw Mujeeb longing separation Bhutoo made mean statement "" tum Wahan hum Yahan "" he solely kind of divided East n West.
Then old recordings prove Indain politition Indra Ghandi confidently accepted in her speech "" v did it v hv done v ll do again"" means she accepted indai played part in breaking Pakistan.
She said she ll do she meant Balochistan etc.
JBG garner our hearts its tragic story nevertheless not making us feel gloomy ,charm of Talha Magic of Wahaj

Guys I m completely hooked by the drama khaab toot jatey hain more so than jo bichar gaye. And I think it's unfair to demand masala, humour nd romance Frm every drama I mean Hollywood has produced serious war movies because the topic is too heavy nd is too realistic. About Amnas comment on telling Pakistani perspective, I think this drama did complete justice to Bengali perspective, u can see clear condemnation of the army operation on university in which innocent students died nd the line by professor sajjad Hussain to Riaz when he says"aik ghalti KA jawab disri ghalti set Di Jaye to yahi hota hai"" meaning first mistake was the general discrimination of power nd transfer of power not happening and the answer to that mistake with an army operation on university.

Dobara: Hassan, just because Mehru is shown to have agency after Hidayatullah's passing, the ordeals she faces with trivial things in her life DO have a huge impact on one's decision making. After all, she is living in that society and it really hurts her to be on the receiving end in regards to all those situations.
Her decision to marry Ibtisaam was probably a compromise she felt she had to make in order to move on. Affaan and Zameer's reactions really made her question what she would truly be able to achieve.
Then, Aamna's energy and passion for the story at this stage was truly heartwarming. She didn't mention Mehru's outfit at Affan's wedding; it was beautiful.

East Pakistan and West Pakistan were separated by 1000 miles and India in between . India had denied the airspace and sea connections in the last months. The Pakistan army was totally cutoff from all support both air and sea. This is how Pakistan army became so helpless in the end. India had totally infitrated East Pakistan as mukti bahni. They had changed the mind set of new generation as claimed by Indra gandhi lateron when she claimed “we have drowned the two nation theory in sea”.
India is trying the same game in Balochistan. Only Difference is that they cannot cut it off completely as they did in Banladesh.

Jo bicher gaye: in 1971 America promised to send "aabi madad" a sea fleet, but america gave dhoka, didn't send and time passed, pakistani politicians (bhutto) gave up the war on table. Jo bat ap west pakistan ki tarf say aid ki ker rhy hen, Amna is right borders were closed as between east n west Pakistan, indian territory was there. Helicopter help is also impossible because you can not use air space of other countries, without permission, and you can not fly over indian Territory. I have seen bangladeshi retired officers now, now they have understood indian's role in this separation. Those officers had the order to shoot west Pakistani soldiers on sight, and they did it. But now after decades they understand all the drama played by india at that time. Everything was manipulated by india and no doubt Bhutto is another big culprit in all this happening. Anyways whatever happened it was painful but if two brothers are separated and start living in separate houses, they are still brothers. Bangladesh is really progressing well Masha Allah, i have lived there for a year, they are very very hard working nation. And hardwork never goes unpaid.

Parizaad: No Hassan, that's not how Nikah takes place. Everything is about intention. During the life of Rasool Allah there was a girl who came to him and complained that she was married against her will and the Prophet told her that her nikah stood null and void. If there's no intention there's no nikah, even if a person says 'qabool hy' a thousand times :)
As for the scene you were referring to- those are fictional characters saying 'qabool hy' to each other, not the real people intending to get nikahofied 🙂

Loved Aamna's review of dobara's episode. Totally in love with the episode, with the character developments, with the pace. I don't think it was out if character for mehru to take the decision of marrying ibtesaam. In the previous episodes she was enjoying being released from hidaayat's prison but Affan's aggressive reactions made her realise that she's still not entirely free. A person cannot change overnight, she needed support from someone to do this and I'm so glad that it was ibtesaam who came to her rescue, acted selfleslly and got them hitched.

Amna you are very right in saying that you are listening to one-sided story. I am a Bengali elderly lady from India, when Bangladesh war was going on l was studying in higher classes and l do remember lakhs and lakhs of refugees came to lndia in an extremely run-down state losing either their husbands or sons or daughters. The women were raped and killed mercilessly.
India had to intervene witnessing the worst condition of the closest neighbour. Mujibur Rahman had asked for help from India, the then PM of India, Mrs. lndira Gandhi could not sit tight ignoring such an inhuman plight of our neighbours. I have a deep regard for your country, but at that point of time, the West Pakistan could not take care of the people of East Pakistan as it was thousands of miles away from them, as a result not only the common people's issues were neglected over there in East Pakistan but they were also tortured by the unscrupulous soldiers of West Pakistan, who had taken advantage of the situation. This is a fact and not any fabricated story. Under the circumstances lndia had just helped her neighbour and thus Bangladesh came into existence in 1971 March. There is no hard feelings against Pakistan but it is a mere fact.
