Even after watching so many interviews of his, this guy always has some new insights to offer - his perception of Yash Chopra's take on casting or not casting him is amazing and what he said at the end about the line between commercial & art films blurring only because of actors like him who kept knocking doors and persisted - are major takeaways from this interview.
Barkha's questions are profoundly piercing and sensitive without meaning any harm and yet this gentleman has so much clarity of thought on every aspect of his life.
Barkha Dutt is a super anchor and Manoj Bajpayee is a brilliant and natural actor. Both are down to earth and humble.
I can see her humbleness in kashmir files 😎.... Bharat tere Tukre honge... Leke rahenge azadi... And all anti-indian slogans ... How can u save her by humbleness..😡😡 nation First Bhaad me jaaye wo.. Dharti me zinda hi kyu h
Barkha is not humble at all
He is so charming and down to earth. Amazing human being. I love his pronunciation of privacy.
The Last Word - Thank you for being who you are. This is a definition of what a super man he is.
Amazing. Bless you man.
wow... exactly my thoughts... 🙂
We are all shaped by what people say. This line is such a deep lesson
Love Manoj, he is so authentic and true.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, he is beautiful soul , inside and out 🙏
This world is superficial and only see what they want to see. 🙏
Hats off Barkha….this the best Manoj Bajpai interview I have seen so far, and I have watched many….
Aapki Hindi aur Bhojpuri dono kitne meethe hain, aapko sunte rehne ka mann karta hai. Aap croro Bihariyo ko himmat dete hain ki woh sapne dekh sakte hain aur unhe pura bhi kar sakte hain. You are a true star Manoj ji. Pranaam.
Manoj your the most awesome artist , I am your biggest fan , God Bless , we want to see more in films
Fan-tastic!❤
That's how two beautiful people talk...
So honest and down to earth. Wow. And wonderfully anchored, said just enough to guide the flow of discussion and not obstructing it. Loved it.
This was a delight
Thank you ❤
I can listen to Manoj Sir all day. I can completely relate to him. I see myself in him in many ways👏👏😊
Film Industry - Talent + Hardwork + Luck 👍

His amazing character and simplicity make him more attractive. He has an amazing voice to listen to
Purest of the interviews

Honest n heartwarming -much like the people themselves !
Beautiful conversation, brilliant
Indepth conversation , a learning experience in itself ....
Such a wonderful interview, by the way I always found him good looking😂
Such an interesting interview, could just go on n on n I wouldn’t stop listening. He’s so v clean.
Thankyou so much Barkha ji for this amazing interview. Only you could have asked all these wonderful things. Today i have come to understand why you are so famous. You are terrific. And Manojji is an institution himself. So original❤❤
What an amazing actor such soulful performances in so many films satya, gangs of wasseypur, aligarh, bhonsle, galli gulliyan, the recent one gulmohar, webseries the family man really amazimg ,what makes them different from other people in the industry is their straightforward nature, simplicity and humbleness be it manoj sir,or irrfan sir or even kay kay menon, sir, pankaj tripathi sir,the finest actors ever
I find akshay boring and not that good looking …it’s the personality n character that makes a person attractive! That’s where bollywood exploits and gets away - in that short window you see the airbrushed look, the hero script and the hype background using music. How good looking is shah rukh ?? He’s just charm personified and lots of marketing n pampered images ! Put Manoj in that snd you will have shah rukh 2 !
Fantastic both
inspiring journey
What a man ❤❤❤ love and respect
what a clarity of thoughts and expression he has 😍💯
My favorite actor and my the journalist i trust the most, in one frame. Both not afraid to call spade a spade. Very enjoyable conversation.
My favorite Actor.
True
Badiya. My favourite actor
Manoj is a real artist. Seeing his work in movies like Bhonsle, Aligarh or Joram(not released, I was lucky to see it at a film festival) makes you realize he’s a real chameleon. He can be anyone. I hope he gets even more successful
Manoj is a man of good ethics
The best anchor in our country
I have always thought Manoj Bajpayee to be very good looking.
💖💖💖

This show is most suited to Barkha's Personality
This conversation, interview is just pure Gold 💛
Thank God Manoj Bajpayee didn’t have a plan B 😄 !
As an actor , as a human being his take on Life , his craft is so honest , so refreshing and so real .
Every time he performs , it’s a master class in acting . Gulmohar is no exception .
Manoj Bhai, you & Nawaz Bhai are the finest actors I have ever seen. I don't have to look those so called stupid Bollywood family. Few actor come close to you.
I also have this passing thoughts… sigh.
Barkha leave your hair loose don't tie it up , you look beautiful this way 💐🥰💝, oh you have such beautiful eyes those whisky eyes make me go crazy , very very few females have those eyes ❤

Nvr found SRK goodlooking either. still YRF always invested in him. It was not right on Yash Chopra's part to say such a thing.

@4:53 he says something very very important... This awful habit of people and media to turn actors into Gods ... Growing up through 2000s it seemed to be great you have to be an actor...No.. that shouldn't be the way.. to be great you have to do great ... A good actor deserves no more respect than a good professional in any other field ... Inha sab vagwan banake baithe huye hai ... They have expert opinions on everything..they are part of every panel discussion... Even Barkha seemed insular to his comment.. she cut right to the next question ...
Can some one plz tell what nehar refers to??

For a journalistic role I can understand the motivation to “pursue the truth”. But when it comes to interviews; there is a balance that needs to be found between, (1) what truth of the individual is inspiring; (2) what truth of the individual is masala and lastly, (3) what truths are off boundary, and better left to an autobiography. When we muddle these, we serve neither the contributors, nor the subscribers. Respect and acknowledgement of space, rhetoric and influence are apparently hard learnt

I fail to understand why Barkha speaks English with him. He is fluent in Hindi and can express himself so much better.
Barkha is not fluent in Hindi
@Nitish Saxena she is yaar but Barkha is not important the guest should be given opportunity to express in a language that he is good in. I know he can be extremely expressive and funny but in this interview he was struggling.
By the way I did meet Barkha in Egypt and did even film her interview for Pakistani TV channel geo TV.
