That is a rare sled! There was only one of those in Valdez back in '94. We had more Pro-XR 440 race sleds running around than the 800. I almost bought a left over Pro-XR 440 race sled at the local dealer that someone must have backed out on (crazy that it is was in their showroom) but my understanding was they had a total roach for a motor and that scared me away. I'd still like to have one but install a 600 or 700 in it. I'm digging your '98 XC 700, my buddy had one of those. They looked bad ass all jacked up in the front with the CRC front end.
My first “big sled” back in 2004 was a 98’ xc 700, I was 14 at the time. I’ve owned 4 98 xc 700’s over the years. I have been actively looking for a 2004 proxr 440 chassis to drop a 700 in, but starting to think no decent ones are left in the state. The proxr 800 is hands down my favorite sled I have rode. Iv had 3 of them over the years.

Most if not all were raced in sno-x and that's really hard on them with all the wrecks and banging into each other. The '04 will be the most rare of them all. Guys likely sold them off right away and/or didn't keep them so they could get IQR's.
Jeremy Couch same here man. I rode my sled twice this year haven’t had a good year of riding here in central Michigan for a few years now. Only been to the U.P once but it’s a whole different world up there lol.

Damn wish I had that snow. Worst winter of my life so far here in Michigan...only riding is the Upper Peninsula really.

Oh, up here in sweden we almost have a record amount of snow. I'd say too much snow..
Man I wish I had that amount of snow. Trails are fine and dandy but that deep bottomless powder is where it's at!

The old bowl in the back of the sand pit? Oh yeah they tore it up years ago. Had a lot of good years building jumps in there as a teenager.
