  • Hello everybody, welcome to my CZcams channel!
My name is Aleks and in this video I take a look at a very interesting stainless steel sports watch with a stunning blue dial by Chopard.
The Chopard Alpine Eagle was introduced back in 2019 and is in my eyes a very interesting choice if you are looking for a stainless steel sports watch that offers a very nice look with its integrated bracelet and striking dial.
In the video I feature both the 36 and 41mm version which is intersting to see them side by side if your wrist is on the smaller end like mine and you can't make up your mind.
Make sure you hit that like and subscribe button.

How do you like the Alpine Eagle? And would you like to see it compared to the Girard Perregaux Laureato?

I am actually choosing between the 36mm alpine eagle and the rolex explorer 36 to reward myself for my first mountain hike this year.. which one would you recommend for a first luxury watch? Thank you in advance.. :) (my wrist size is 6.25inch)

@@yusufbest4475 what’s your wrist size the 36mm AE looks smaller on the wrist I have 6.5inch I sport a Cartier santos 35mm 41 looks small on the wrist but it doesn’t hug the wrist well. Due to the lugs being a bit big.. 38mm would have done the trick but I couldn’t resist this watch I was lucky to have found the blue dial.. the Rolex 36 is great too if you looking at something different other than a Rolex this is the watch since I own the Rolex dj 41…

So many brands avoid 37-39mm sizes in their integrated bracelets watches which is a shame. Even Tissot PRX is either too small or too big in size for slimmer males. Kudos to GP for making Laureato in 38 mm.

When you strip away the hype around other famous integrated bracelet sports watches, these definitely stand out for a few reasons. The Roman numerals are well-done and very distinctive. The dial texture and color are attractive and different from other offerings. The fact that the bracelet meets the case at a narrower width compared to other integrateds, minimizes the “huge steel wrist cuff” effect. I do agree this should be also made in a 38mm size like the Laureato. My only other complaint is the polished center links. In my opinion, this finish doesn’t really match the rest of the watch. Also, it would be great to see a rubber strap option for this. Bottom line: this is underrated and for my money, the nicest integrated bracelet design on the market today.

I just purchased the 41mm Blue myself as an unworn fully stickered 2022 piece for a bargain price. It’s a phenomenal watch. The quality of the overall finishing leaves my now ex AP15500 with a lot to be desired, the AP was crude and sharp edged where the Chopard is sublime, smooth and carefully polished. The dial has an almost chameleon effect in different lighting with many shades of blue and silver. One small detail thing is the second hand counterweight is shaped as a feather! And just a note about the polished centre links - all are individually removable should they need a refresh. I love it.

Thank you for this video Aleks! I’m considering purchasing the Alpine Eagle and wanted to see a comparison between the 41mm and 36mm, but couldn’t find such a review anywhere until now! My wrist is about 18cms so I will definitely try both on in person. Your review was great quality and detail, will definitely subscribe!

Great to see this one featured Aleks, not often on people's radar. Absolutely the comparison with the Laureato, which starts in front with the 38 option. Love to see that copper dial (a watch on my wish list)!. Both are more tasteful in my opinion than RO or Overseas and more interesting than the rather dull Nautilus.

The St Moritz chronograph is a very underrated piece. It uses the legendary Frederic Piguet 1185 movement. Making it one of the thinnest automatic chronographs on the market besides the daytona and other more expensive watches with the same movement.

Beautiful watches however like all Chopard watches the Alpine Eagle watches are way overpriced. Remedy: Purchase a Roger Ward Twelve watch in 40 or 36mm’ s for a 1/16 the price of a Chopard Alpine Eagle.

That beautiful dial is to me just too small in relation to the case size, too much form not enough function.
