The "Give Me An Answer" ministry began as an outgrowth of the dialogues Cliffe Knechtle has had with students on various university campuses throughout the United States. These universities include the University of Maine, Harvard, MIT, University of Florida, University of Texas, University of Wisconsin, University of Minnesota, University of California Los Angeles, University of California San Diego, Berkeley, Stanford, University of Hawaii and the University of Washington. Cliffe spoke on these campuses in front of the Student Union or Library at noon for five to ten minutes. At the close of his initial remarks, he'd open up the time for questions and answers, which usually turned into a two to four hour dialogue with students. His crowd size ranged from 25 - 500 students at a time, and between classes, new students would join the discussion. This is an extremely effective way to reach a large number of university students with the Gospel of Christ.

Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.
Evolution makes no sense when nothing has evolved after thousands of years of human history and supposedly the first creature came from primordial sludge several millions of years
ago funny how they won't believe that God an Eternal Almighty Spirit Being created us from the Earth) which came from a supermassive expansion of matter at high temperature that inexplicably created everything in the known universe that supposedly came from nothing billions of years ago. How did the organs evolve before there were bones, skin, substance and how did any creatures see before eyes evolved? I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " Origin of The Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology whereas I accept micro Evolution like speciation and adaptation but not macro Evolution because there's no evidence of it nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. I'm sure there are plenty of books on it. If there is anything specific you want to know then you could probably ask your priest and they would most likely be able to give some historical context.

I have a really important question i wish i could ask cliffe and stewart in person. Im stuggling in forgiveness. How am i to forgive and turn the other cheek for someone who repeatedly lies, cheats, steals, and neglects with little to no remorse? It would be less complicated if the person wasnt my mother. Shes reliable long enough for you to start putting faith in her again, but will REALLY mess things up in your life when you least expect it. Im 29 with 2 young children. Is it wrong for me to forgive but not forget, meaning being cordial but distancing myself? I know that im a sinner in need of forgiveness in gods eyes i would be no better than her, and it would be wrong to not offer her forgiveness. But with her deplorable behavior and her willful ignorance to how her actions have a dramatic impact on those around her, how do i contend with the negative impact(protect myself)? I just dont know how to do what god says i should do.
*little context*My Mother will lie, manipulate, steal money, sneak drugs around, loves to give empty promises and then bail out at the last second which can really mess important plans up. She blames everybody else for her faults when anybody calls her out on her actions. She will get herself together for a while, even years at a time, before falling off the deep end all over again.

The key is repentance. Forgive them when they make a genuine effort, but if you've seen the song and dance before that lead to them abusing your trust before then be discerning.

I think forgive, distance yourself but always be there when she needs you (not when she needs to use you though). A bit of tough love is good but too much distance might not be good especially if she has no one else to turn to. So definitely check on her once a month or so. And definitely keep praying for her.
Obviously your mother is a bit messed up and clearly dealing with her behaviour is hurtful. But this is not about her. It’s about you. It’s about you somehow keeping yourself intact in this difficult situation you’re in. Some are easier to forgive than others. But as hard as it is to do you have to forgive her, even though she’s not deserving of it, because you will benefit from it. You will lose the thorn of discontent. We find the strength to forgive by remembering what the Lord said. It’s somewhere in the scriptures where He says God cannot forgive us if we don’t forgive others. This gives us the strength to do it. Your mother sounds like she doesn’t deserve to be respected. But the command to honour our parents is without conditions. We have to do it anyway even if they don’t deserve it, even if they are in jail. If parents don’t get honour from their children they invariably become badly effected and can sometimes become very problematic. By honouring your mother you’ll calm her down. Show her a lot of respect. Don’t argue with her. Diplomatically handle situations with her. And though you might like her out of your life nevertheless don’t let her realise this. You have a difficult situation on your hands but if you handle it wisely you’ll make it easier to bear. Don’t forget to pray about it. Prayer can work wonders.

Building a true and eternal relationship with God it's a SACRIFICE: hard, but SO worth it. It's beyond anything else. By His grace we are saved; By His love we are forgiven; By His Loyalty we are reminded of our infinite worth to Him; By His Justice we are hold responsible for our sins, and the GIFT to REPENT, and DO NOW BETTER. May your heart get closer and closer to Him, as it is much harder to do that, than to listen this two wonderful human beings: praying for them as well. Admiting sincerely God exists, it's not just one simple first step: it changes your life ENTIRELY. The Greatest Man in History... had no servants, yet they called Him Master. Had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. He Had no medicine, yet they called Him Healer. He did not live in a castle, yet they called Him Lord, He ruled no nations, yet they called Him King, committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. His name is Jesus Christ my Savior.
Im 36 all the statements im about to say are true and not even a bit stretched. I can remember a few years back I was at rock bottom in life i was broke, distraught and so on i remember going to church that day which i hadnt done in a long time and just praying and saying god please just show me what im doing or what im here for just give me a sign show me your listening please im begging you. Well the rest of the day goes on nothing happens the next day i go to my grandparents and the mail comes and my grandma said you have a letter which didnt make sense but their house is not my mailing address. Turns out it was a letter from a friend who was in prison now that wouldnt be so strange but what was is that i hadnt seen this person since i was around 24 we used to date she moved away and had gotten in trouble and went to prison. In the letter some of her first things she said was i didnt know how to reach you but i had my grandmother get your grandparents address i just got in trouble and the only 2 people i asked to be on my list of people to write was you and my grandmother and i wanted to talk to you more than anyone i just didnt know how. she went on to say of all the people in my life you were one of the few who had the biggest positive impact on me and even if you was doing wrong if you seen me doing wrong you always told me i shouldnt be doing that and tried to point me in the right direction without judgement. This whole thing iust floored me Im a grown man i dont show emotion very often but i broke down in tears and cried and thought for someone to figure out how to get ahold of me after not seeing each other for 10-12 years and out of the blue writing me telling me that i was the first person they wanted to talk to and how big of a positive impact i had on their life after begging god the day before to just show me any kind of sign as to what i was put here for this whole thing just floored me like really bad. I prayed and said thank you God that was all i needed thank you. I stayed in contact with her i guess she had been in and out of prison a few times since moving but after being back in contact with me she moved back to this area and stayed in contact with me and through gods grace straightened her life out. For me to beg god to show me why im here because i was on the verge of giving up and the very next day that happen showed me God is listening even when you think he isnt and that i was put here to help guide people to live better lives and try to impact people in a positive manner.
I know with my heart god is real that miracles do happen everyday people can call that a coincidence if they want but its divine intervention. Even tho they keep proving the things in the bible did happen and prove people in the bible did exist people still try to question it which is crazy to me. For example the bible talks about giants roaming the earth and the book of enoch talks about fallen angels having kids with humans and them turning out to be giants now they are finding giant skeletons all over the world. People can say well maybe someone found one since the bible was created Ok but the book of enoch is 1 of the first books of religion ever written its thousands of years old. Another example if you look at almost any religion throughout the entire world just about all of them have a gods and of those gods 1 all powerful god who rules all now these people were seperated by oceans like the greeks from the norse and the norse from the egyptians and so on and so forth now what ive taken from it is that their is only 1 god and that the other gods in these religions are angels just like in greek mythology zues is the ruler of the gods and creater of man then you have Apollo who is the god of the sun which if you think about it runs directly with christianity God created the heavens and the earth then tasked lucifer with creating the sun or light thats why he is called the light bringer and Lucifer Morningstar sound really similar huh or Ra being the god of the of gods in Egyptian culture and the creator of all and every night he jousts with apophis to keep apophis from destroying his creation sounds alot like the way god teaches us to do right and to live right but the devil wants us to lie, steal, kill, deceive all in a attempt to cause the destruction of creation. The whole point is most not all but most of these cultures didnt even know each other as they were seperated by vast oceans and massive land masses with no real way to travel those kind of distances to meet the other but yet even in caves you see pictures of gods and in cultures there are all these ancient writings about it from cultures all over the world who were separated not only by distance but by time too how can each one of these cultures have seen these things and wrote and drawn pictures of them and none of it be true if none of these cultures for the most part knew each other kinda a strange coincidence they all had the same ideas about worshipping a all powerful god isnt it? I tell science people all the time who argue the whole god stand point I say ok the bible tells us that we have a soul and the science people will say yea so whats you point and i will say in science what is our body made of in its most basic form and they will say energy and i tell them in the bible it says after we die our soul is judged and goes to heaven or hell and they say ok so and i say well when a human dies what happens to the electrical energy in the body and the energy in all the cells in our bodies because science teaches us that energy and matter never disappear they are only transformed from one form to another so what happens to the electrical energy in our brain after our body decomposes it doesnt just sit in the coffin we rest in so where does it go to which most of them have No answer. Maybe that energy is part of our soul i will tell them because it has to go somewhere and electricity doesnt just course through the ground without a source and even then it spreads but how does that happen if your in a coffin? Science tries to explain it but they cant most of the time but they still try science cant explain why people are the only thing on earth capable of doing the things they do other animals can do some of the things we do but no where even remotely close to what we can it cant explain why we have a conscious or why we feel right from wrong but the bible can it tells us god gave it to us so we know something is wrong. There is no reason to question if their is a god because their has to be or we are all doomed and our time here doesnt mean anything past our deaths I will never accept that and no one else should either. Free will is required for genuine trust and love based relationships with hearts open for/with God and each other. They used their free will to have completely hardened hearts. So they were already dead on the inside.

I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.

The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. What version of the Bible should I read? I want to start reading it and build my faith but I get stuck deciding which version of the Bible is best ( I know I shouldn't get this hung up on my choice). Lots of people recommend the KJV and say the other versions aren't accurate or cut out parts, but I am a slow and terrible reader and the KJV throws me off because we don't typically talk or write like many of the writings. Any recommendations Cliffe or anyone else? If he did a video on this can you let me know?

Actually there’s a very good book on this very subject written by Gail Riplinger. It’s called, New Age Bible Versions. But she’s on Utube too and you can watch her there.
Get as much versions as you can. All versions have pros and cons to it. If the KJV is a little hard for you to read, try out the amplified Bible. By having a collection of different versions, you can see verses of scripture in many different angles and perspectives, which is helpful in learning. i have KJV, NKJV, NIV, Amplified, ESV, the living Bible, Moffats translation, and others. If God is real I’m surprised I don’t have a mental breakdown. I’m an atheist that’s searching for God. I pray to God asking to have a relationship and understanding. But all I get is silence. So let’s see if I’m the one who has a mental breakdown.
In that case you should go to church. I'd say Orthodoxy is the best church overall since it's the original, but it's also pretty jarring, so I'd say you should try to attend a Catholic service or two. Protestant services only if you somehow don't have either Catholic or Orthodox near you. If you really do go looking for God you'll find Him and I'd bet you will feel Him in church.

I can't get my head around this idea that God gave a nation 400 years grace and allowed them to commit horrific acts without stepping in and intervening.
