- Please take a look at my idea how to slightly modify the colourway of Casio G-Shock GWG-1000-1A3DR MUDMASTER watch. At the end of this video I'm comparing two identical MUDMASTERs - one with original specification and another with wrist band replaced with black one from GWG-1000GB-1AER.
Please share with me your thoughts on this mod.

Great video, I ordered a black strap for my gwg 1000-1A3ER, but with the silver color hardware on it. This video is very informative and with the proper tools, I managed to do it easily. Thanks.

Tomasz, THANK YOU for the video. Your video is very informative and the fact you clearly stated the size of bits you used is a big help to many of us. So many people here on CZcams make some type of modification and leave out one of the most important things that being the tools sizes. Before I forget, I have been looking for a small tool kit like the one you used in this video maybe you could tell all of us out here in CZcams land what it is called and the maker. In fact I am very "precise" kind of person, I always keep my eye on details and try to pass to my viewers as much information as possible to keep the videos informative and detailed. The set I used in this video was my Dad's one and I have no idea who is the maker as it is not written on it. But now I bought a better set of tools, it is made by Ifixit and it consists of 64 different bits covering all kinds of precision repairs. It is called Mako Driver Kit, 64 bit, EAN 0856235006283, Item Code: IF145-299-4, you can find it here:

Very nice vid! I just got this watch and while watching you removing the bands, I was wondering if there are any sort of adapters on the market which can let you attach any type of stainless bracelet or resin type bracelet with resin links.
+Martin Hawrylkiewicz I'm afraid there's no bracelet existing for this watch. You can only switch between different colourways of straps and bezels.
Jayandkay company make an adapter for this watch that you can then fit a metal bracelet. Google it.

Hi, i have question! When i change my band of gwg 1000 and put back bolts they spin so easy with out presser, but in the and only then i feel presser and they tightened, is it normal? Thanks
@Yuriy Fesenko Yuriy, you probably switched screws between one another, I mean one screw sits in the place of another screw before the operation. Screws might very slightly differ between each other in means of diameter and shape of thread. You may leave them like this or try to find every one's original places. But be very careful not to overtighten these screws, as you may break the thread in resin chassis and there will be no way back - whole chassis will have to be replaced.

When i spin the bolt and he goes down in to the body of watch every thing is ok, no need to find where is the original place of the bolts

@Bernard Dermody Thank you for your kind words. I did this replacement a couple of years ago and I don't have this set of screwdrivers anymore, but it was quite small flat bit. However, you can pull those pins out even with your nail - they come off very easily.

@Bernard Dermody There's no difference - watches are the same. What may differ is the language set in user's manual - ER is for European market and DR is for Asian market.

+Tomasz Maksym Obecny Mudmaster GWG-1000 pojawił się po raz pierwszy na rynku w sierpniu 2015 roku i wydaje mi się (to tylko moja opinia), że Casio pociągnie go jeszcze z rok lub dwa. @Karan Pandey Yes, it is possible to purchase original spare glass and replace it. It is worth also to replace the glass seal at the same time. Regarding gold buckle I'm not sure if buckle only is available as a spare part, but the complete band for sure is.

Joel Navarro Dear Joel, I hope I understood your question correctly: yes, you can certainly exchange the straps in different colourways in your GWG-1000 watch. Each colour of the strap will technically fit your Mudmaster. All the best from Poland.

Great video! Considering buying one. The "green" version (which you have) - does it have a red triple sensor, whereas the black one does not? I like the red sensor, so I am considering buying a green version and changing the wrist band, just like you did. Let me know! Thanks

Tomasz Gołębiewski I have also the GWG-1000 with the olive green strap. Here in the Netherlands there's one suplier for straps and costs €113. Pricey indeed. I already paid €699 for the Mudmaster self. How much did you paid for your resin black strap?

Ed Felty Yep, I agree that the green strap looks very good with golden buckle and bandkeeper, however it doesn't match my outfit and other accessories, so that's why I chose to to create "full black" edition of Mudmaster. Thanks for your comment. :)

+EnduroYZ250F Nie tyle zacząłem, co był to raczej eksperyment. Po ilości wyświetleń filmu oraz łapek w górę raczej udany. Jednak jeśli będę kręcił jeszcze w przyszłości filmy (niestety nie mam już na to kompletnie czasu), to raczej będą one po polsku, gdyż w języku angielskim często brakuje mi słownictwa i wychodzi jąkanie, jak na tym filmie. Jednak filmy po angielsku znajdują znacznie szersze spektrum odbiorców, stąd moja chęć sprawdzenia i siebie (średnio to wyszło) i zasięgu mojego filmu (na tym polu jest znacznie lepiej). :)

Cyrus Ong No, GWG-1000 strap won't fit GG-1000 because of special cut for light button in GWG, which GG doesn't have. You have to look for dedicated strap for GG-1000. If you find problems with getting one, I can help you with it.

integra I'm afraid you can't. Attachment of the straps in Mudmasters are different that attachments in Aviators like GA-1000.

@Michał Sparki22 Wszystko w tej kwestii jest pojęciem względnym. Dla jednego będzie za duży, a innemu będzie pasował idealnie. Odpowiedni rozmiar zegarka siedzi tylko w naszych głowach i nie jest on powiązany ściśle z rozmiarem nadgarstka. Kiedyś uważałem, że odpowiedni (maksymalny) rozmiar dla mnie to AWG-M100 (pierwsze filmy na moim kanale), potem przeszedłem przez Romka GW-9400-1ER, kolejny był prezentowany na tym filmie Mudmaster GWG-1000, a jego następcą u mnie jest jeszcze większy GPW-1000RD-4AER, który również mi bardzo dobrze leży i pasuje, zaś jeszcze kilka lat temu wstecz nawet bym na niego nie spojrzał ze względu na rozmiar. Każdy nosi taki rozmiar G, jaki mu odpowiada.

@0123581505 It would be very complicated to change the dial parts because first you'd have to remove the hands and afterwards mount them properly again, which turns out to be very tricky due to Tough Movement on board. That is far beyond my abilities.
