The classic Miracles' track that initially was an album track from the LP "Make It Happen (1967)". Brit Motown fans begged for it's re-release in 1970, when it was reworked with more punch...and it was, of course, a hit. Of note...the bassoon was played by Charles Sirard and piccolo by Jim Horn. A huge thanks to Tom Moulton for his amazing remix so I could stretch it!
And also check out my 4 other versions of this great song...thanks!! - Hudba
Just in case you didn't know, the owner of this channel, mosogotam, whose real name is John Perrone, sadly passed away April 5, 2020 from COVID-19. He was an absolute genius for this and all the other wonderful tracks he created. May he rest in peace.
How sad, his legacy lives on, hope he knows it.
Ohhhh my God. Praying for his family. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Honestly Broddy this makes me so mad. John Perrone and 800,000 others didn't have to die this horrible death if we all were more concerned about taking care of each other's health and well-being.
@@ph1021 Couldn't agree more, Pablo. It's truly tragic. And he was really one of the very very early ones to go.
@@broddybounce I’m so scared that this channel will be taken down. What I loved about John’s work was a couple things. I hated that all those beautiful Motown records were only 2:30 long and wished they were longer because I couldn’t get enough. Secondly when I used to listen to those old R&B records I listened for particular instruments like the bass or drums or the piano part and when I heard how he was about to separate out those instruments in each song it blew my mind. This really sucks man and now I feel like one day I’m going to wake up and all this will be gone. People have no idea how valuable these remixes are because he created them for lovers of music who are used to hearing and dancing to longer playing music. Bummer. Shit I need a hug. Hahaha. 😢
The Funk Brothers are awesome
The Soundtrack of my Childhood, 93KHJ Los Angeles...listen to the cabinet radio/turntable....Great Mix. Anyone else here in Oct 2020? Stay Safe and Healthy Everyone. 💖🙏💖

amazing job! You never spoil the original- it's always preserved in there but somehow you create a sympathetic extended version that hi lights elements never previously heard. I have no idea how the magic is created but please keep on doing what you do so well!
Amazing intro.

Found you by chance but listened in amazement. Outstanding. Lovely sympathetic and engaging extending of a classic song. Great talent, respect and thank you for giving an extended smile! Immediately subscribed btw.
I'll always love Smokey and the imperials. I'm hooked on soul. Soul then, soul now. Wow
It’s Smoky Robinson and the Miracles. The Impressions were a different group.
Can't get over that funk guitar phrase
Oh, yeah, for sure!
Folks, if you haven't listened to this channel's original extended version of this song, you must! It has more of the classic original backing vocals and tracks and is wonderful. Just look for the one with "My extended version" (fyi, this one is "My extended alt version")
What a nice, decent human being Mr Robinson is..
I HAVE LOVED THIS SONG SO MUCH SINCE I WAS A KID...THANKS FOR YOUR AWESOMENESS.!!!!!!..DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CHECK OUT ..YOU MAKE ME SO MAD..BY THE 5 STAIRSTEPS...THAT WOULD BE AN AWESOME JAM TO WORK YOUR MAGIC ON..!!!!!
Thanks a lot, PUGS!!
The 5 Stairsteps was from my hood, just across the tracks, called Euclid Park. The cousins of Freddy Hubbard, the Hubbard's lived across the street from me and they played the horns (sax & trumpet.... James & Lonnie), Chakra Khan stayed nextdoor to them when visiting her grandmother and across the alley on occasion Herb Kent (The Cool Gent) would often broadcast live from home on WVON 1450. My cousin Henry whose handle was."Quincy", was also.a DJ on WVON.
Smokey is the GOAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Moulton & Mosogotam … sounds like a law firm … #1 R&B #1 Pop … the Brits were right … Great Job!!!
Pam....thanks so much....!!!!
Love this Thx you

I love this so much. My birthday is tomorrow. If you can can you release a Supremes extended track you haven't got around posting for me please.
Thanks, Torreano and Happy Birthday!
Unfortunately, he passed away last April from Covid 😢
Well done my friend.
Me smoking love 💕 one another
"Tears of a Clown" never sounded better than this. I love this long edition better than the song that was on the 7" 45 rpm disc.
The 12" had not yet been invented. Little did we know that DISCO would soon be the answer.
@@louisgonzalez8846 I know. I have had a record collection of 7" discs, 12" albums and 12" singles. I played mostly the 12" album and single on a turntable connected to an integrated amplifier, that was connected to a pair of stereo speakers. Disco was the last best music that was ever made. However, I still love my old soul, rock and roll and disco music.
Names ?
I’m interested in having you show me how to do that editing.
