That’s right , as long as the client is happy . We always have to bring extra Anyway. Even with the event planner saying they will be available you should still have all the information that you could contact someone if something goes wrong. Yes it seems to be something always seems to go left when you want it to go right. The best thing is never panic because people can sense it . Never let them see you sweat. Love the video❤️And appreciate the honesty.

If you chair is leather try cleaning it
with a magic eraser, that’s what I usually use for small clean ups

Beautiful ! I like these colors together too, very pretty. I see you put table clothes on they already look like they are ironed or steamed. How? You must use a particular brand or cloth. I always like the end, when you honestly share your "lessons learned" I appreciate all your effort you put into your channel.
I try to iron my tablecloths before my events. I also bring a steamer to my events. I don’t have a particular brand that I go with. Some materials are easier to steam than others.

Beautiful baby shower setup. I love the Teddy Bear and for the throne chair do you inspect after each event or if you rent it out? that would probably be a great idea so that if the person damaged it they would be responsible to replace it or have it cleaned. I ordered my chair last week so excited to get one. Have a great day.
Normally, my throne chairs look exactly the same when I pick them up from the event. People are so scared to damage them that they barely use them. However, the last time I used it, I was rushing (exhausted from having 3 events in one weekend) and must not have checked it.

Suggestion: Scotch Gard Fabric Protector (it's clear in a red/white can)add two cans to your new/cleaned chairs (Upholstery cleaners will clean it) concentrate on the hand/arm rests and headrest, it prevents liquid from being absorbed any liquid touch it will bead and roll off, sticky hands etc. Everything comes off with a damp towel. The minute I bring new furniture into my house, I spray it down the very first night to allow it to totally dry overnight, some furniture companies charge an extravagant fee for this service. Just food for thought.

How did you end up cleaning the thrown chair? I’m having the same problem with mine. It was never once taken out of the wrapping but the first time i went to use it there were spots on it. I tried spray painting it as well but yes very Sticky!
Yes, the spray paint is very sticky! I carry magic erasers with me now. That helps with the stains. But honestly, they haven’t completely come out…🤦🏽♀️
Everything looks beautiful regardless of the struggles! Over the weekend, I steamed 14 tablecloths and 75 chair covers for an event! It took hours (had help from my daughter & a helper I paid). It was so much work but could not give the client wrinkled linen. I will never use polyester chair covers again! I used them cause I got them free.Use talc powder to take away the stickiness with throne chair, a lady suggested it on CZcams.
Girl!! I feel your pain. I did that for a family reunion (ironed/steamed a bunch of chair covers). After that I refused to use polyester chair covers. I switched to spandex.

Oh I do I have question? Lol sorry i was wonder how do you hang a floral arch properly without it slipping forward mines doesnt face right side up. It's like it's looking with its head down and not up and outward lol I feel like I tired everything 🤷♀️ if u can do a tutorial because I'm a visual person lol but If not I'll take any advice you can give ..I would really appreciate it!!😄

@@YesEventDecor yaay! I'm so excited! I used zip ties. The flower row is attach to like a foam material then I attached it to a piece of wood so it wouldnt slide but it still didnt work 🤷♀️😭😭 lol

Hi. I loveeeeee your videos and I have learned alot from you. I have been doing many free events just for family this entire year and have been getting many compliments and telling me that I should quit teaching and do my event planning business. For something like this how much did you charge more or less? If I am making 85k a yr salary. Can I make a living with this do you think money wise although I know there are many factors.

I believe all things are possible through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13). If this is God’s plan for you, he will provide for you along the way. You may not start out making a bunch of money. You may struggle. It’s not easy to run a business.

That’s a good question. I think it’s about 12 inches wide and 8 feet long. I’ll measure it and let you know.

Chair: u might want to mention "do not eat in my throne chair" it might be cheetos. The crunchy kinds leaves stains. And hot fries the chips. Hope this helps 🙏🏽

I hope you charge for "day of coordinator" ... because there is no reason why you should feel obligated to be "in charge" ..... I used to be like that, I need to be in control of EVERYTHING but I remember God speaking and telling me "look you just worry about yourself and stop trying to control everything" it was a huge wake up call.
Yassssss! Talk about it! God will set you straight when you’re trying to do too much. I do charge a fee when I coordinate all of the decorations and manage the event.
