I’ve had people tell me after they’ve done a small home party that it’s a lot of work lol! When u r a person who loves doing parties other people don’t understand how focused u r. You r in your head a lot. You r in your zone. You have a vision and don’t want a lot to keep throwing you off. I get everything u r saying. I don’t have a business but I do a parties for my daughter for everything I can think of. And I’ve done it for friends and was blessed to do it on my job for different events.

Thank you for watching my videos! These backdrops are about 4ft wide. The panels on the ends are 7ft tall. The panel in the middle is 8ft tall.

Thank you! No, I didn’t try to fit their stuff in. I politely told them that I already had a sofa and there wasn’t room for their throne chairs in front of the backdrop.

I always get a contact person from the venue from my client and confirm that the place is booked by my client from this time to that time. Then I always confirm with the venue person the set up and clear out time allowed.
What? That person got some nerve ordering items without your client's approval. That's news to me. 🤷🏾♀️ If they want to help, all they have to do is just buy the person a really nice baby shower gift. 🤔 .....(duh) That should be common sense.
Another thing.... when clients buy their own decor, I rarely touch it. I focus on my own work that I was paid to do. However, if the client is really.... really.... really nice, I may assist with some things that has nothing to do with me, only after I complete my own work. I try to be consistent with my business because the client had the opportunity to hire me for that. But they chose to cut corners.
But hey, decorating is fun. I haven't gone full time with it yet. Waiting for retirement from my job, then I figure my consistency should be on point. 😊
It's okay to ramble and vent to us because we definitely understand. 😄
