Bro that image of Tibet in britain was cursed at 💀
Not as cursed at Britain in Tibet.
Because that was actually real.
I played as a lost Roman Leigonary that time traveled and conquered my way to Constantinople as a Tibetan Roman until 1000 AD and my parents died in the mountains after killing a bear in a hunt.
as long as they killed it with their bear hands
Rome is soy and overrated as fuck.
@@ShiningLight Yeah but losing your parents like that is unbearable
@@kohlicoide2258 at the beary least he didn't bear witness to their deaths
@@ShiningLight yeah, he would have turned out much more grizzly
I'm not sure in 1066, but in 867,
in South/South-Western Tibet, there's I think Tsang and Guge, both descended from the dynasty of the just recently collapsed (in the 840s) Tibetan Empire.
Ah, now I know why no one plays there: no matter the zoom level, the terrain just looks like cottage cheese.
I was just about to come write this, the borders are like the same between every county, no distinction whatsoever
Laith has the most horrific update schedule I’ve ever seen
I assume he sees the clock hit midnight the decides to upload the video
This was posted in the middle of the evening in the USA where most watchers are? Lol
us viewers honest reaction 🗿🗿🗿
I remember him saying only 25% are Americans
Rn in the east coast it's 12:45 in the morning, so when this was posted it was 100% middle of the evening and prime time to upload a video for usa viewers, no work, no school, just chill and watch
13:43 No, he didn't hug you as a child.
He sure did 'hug' you as an adult, though 😉
You know you're up against it when all the local rulers are from the Sumpa culture. Their house is also... Sumpa.
I once tried to play in this region. There is an interesting religion in this place. Dont remember the name but the symbol is 3 white stones. Their holy sites are so close to each other so it would be easy to reform the religion.
Vvluphixje,I think It is
@@elenahaya1195 bless you
I have seen the ai reform it in game before with how close the sites are.
"Our ruler might be lazy but by god does he get the job done. Hes efficient"
Of course he needs more time to be lazy
You can select your Rally Points from the military tab
First thing I played in CK3 was actually in Tibet. Well close to Tibet. I started as a Tocharian, since the idea of the "far easternmost point of Aryan expansion," old buddhists, & a culture that doesn't exist anymore as of 1000 years ago is all very interesting to me. Tibet was the first place I expanded. Now that I think of it, I play India often in EU4 and always end up conquering Tibet there as well. Gold province, an easy low AE complete trade company, incredible defensive provinces to guard the north from hordes or China. I've never really played AS Tibet though...
my first ever playthrough started in Chakla. That's at the kingdom of Gyalrong, one of the most eastern kingdoms on the map. Its fun, but none of the big events such as crusades happen to you, nor the nordic people or so. And creating Tibet is one of the hardest tasks you could imagine. GG
:50 Laith saying "Its cool" that his player heir and son has some of the best theroitical stats for a Diplomat. Had me dying
1:50 Diverge Culture to include: Bureaucratic Ethos, Warlike Court, Himalayan Settlers, Mountain Herding, Reverence for Veterans, Recognition of Talent, and Metalworking
This will allow you to recruit Abudrar (some of my favorite units in the game) along with Mountaineers. While simultaneously boosting Development and selection of Knights among your prisoners.
5:00 holy God you chased this man for miles up the mountains lol
By means interpret the post below as my insinuating you don't know how to manage Knights. There's just some cool Accolades I never see others create. So I figured I'd share 🤙🏿🍻
There are a number of ways to "generate" an Accolade. It depends on the characteristics you want to include in said Accolade. Refer below to some of my favorite Accolades and the requirements to "unlock" them:
Accolade Name: "Tactician" and "Beseiger"
To Unlock Tactician: Search for Knight with the "Strategist" Perk
To unlock Beseiger: Unlock the Technology for Mangonels or Search for Knight with "Military Engineer" or "Logistician" Perk.
Purpose of Accolade: This Knight becomes the Commander of all Sieges. Leave this Knight Accolade with all "Beseiger/Blademaster" Accolades, built siege equipment, and enough levies to complete the siege. Remaining Men-At-Arms and levies can pursue other Sieges or Armies (Hire as Seneschal).
Accolade Name: "Beseiger" and "Blademaster"
To Unlock Beseiger: Refer Above
To Unlock Blademaster: Search for a Knight with the Aspiring (or higher level) Blademaster Perk.
Purpose of Accolade: Complete Sieges faster, multiple copies of this Accolade in an army. Multiplies (not Adds) their bonuses to Sieges. Paired with the commander above. Sieges complete in days and weeks. Not months and years. (Hire 2 as Bodyguards)
Accolade Name: "Master-of-Revels" and "Contender"
To Unlock "Master-of-Revels": Search for Knight with any level in the Reveler Perk.
To Unlock Contender: Search for Knight with minimum 20 Prowess.
Purpose of Accolade: This Knight provides bonuses to Tours, Tournaments, Weddings, Feasts, Funerals, and University Visits. Increases likelihood the event doesn't just end due to RNG "sabotaging" the player. (If you have ever hosted a Grand Wedding and it just randomly ended you know the frustration.) This Accolade is also the Best Knight to be selected as Personal Champion (Court Job) and representative of the player in Tournaments. 20 Prowess wins most Tournaments. The Contender Accolade boosts it further. The player is no longer required to invest gold in hosting Grand Tournaments. With this Knight alone. Attending a Tournament is a pretty sure bet.
Accolade Name: "Master-of-the-Hunt" and "Contender"
To Unlock Master-of-the-Hunt: Search for a Knight with any level in the Hunter Perk.
To Unlock Contender: Refer Above
Purpose: This Knight boosts all Hunts success chances. Provides amazing Prestige Buffs. And makes the player advance the Hunter Perk quicker. The benefits of the Contender Accolade is detailed above.
There are Court positions for Seneschal, Master of Revels, Personal Champion, and Master of the Hunt. I recommend filing these positions from your Knight Pool. The most beneficial aspect of creating these Accolades. By keeping the Accolade staffed with a successor at all times. You are naturally boosting the Calibur of Knight in your Army. This means you won't have to have your Martial "Training Commanders" if you want them organizing your Army instead. If you make all 6 of these Accolades. You will have 12 Knights (Accolades + Successors) with these abilities. At a minimum.
I actually played in Tibet recently, though I'll have to return to it to actually get the achievement Bod Chen Po. I found out that it's real fun to play in India/Tibet, there are so many interesting starts to choose from and so many special buildings and op stuff
Btw in 1066 there is a sunni turkish county in tibet area somewhere as a fun fact
*hovers over gender equality* “So we’re the bad guys”
This is truely my kingdom Kham
Fun fact: if you Start as a King, have high diplo amd stack some buffs you can unite all of the feudal rulers with pluralistic faiths without declaring a single war. Gets a little trickier with the kingdoms but manageable if youre am emperor.
I usually costum make a ruler with good diplo, make him a little ugly, destroy all my Maa and have everyone love me and join me. Pretty Chill Thing to Do if youre looking for a change.
Until you die and have all the factions fire at once but thats your son Problem to handle :^)
Being playing here myself recently and a cool thing about this region is that some rulers are feudal but being an unreformwd faith. As long as you dont reform the faith you can raid!
Now i see where the Wheel of time got its inspiration for how the tribes, cant remember their names but the ones obsessed with the dragon hand thing do marriage.
this video inspired me to play as not-so-peaceful tibetan monks in eu4
laith a couple of things when you are playing ck3
1. U can move your rally point on the military tab u dont have to look for it on the map
2. If you want to look at the past history of a title you can just click on the title and a tab is on the top right
had a blast playing in the Tibet region in CK2, did the achievement playing from 867 until 1453 with them, it's fun in CK3 as well
Amazing discoveries. I've played almost everywhere but nowhere in the area on your thumbnail xD
I can't remember which start date it was but ages ago I played a game here because there was a very small religion in the area barely clinging on that had like 3 holy sites in 2 duchies, So my aim was just control those, make tonnes of free money and see how far I could go. Pretty fun region for that because religions are all over the place tbh.
I would consider the Han culture to be one of the best in the game honestly, which is what I love to do when playing in those Eastern regions of the map.
Water Rituals + Philosopher Culture makes it so that even your non-Learning focused dynasty members can blitz through the Learning tree, meaning all your family members can get to Whole of Body and have an average life expectancy of around 80-90. Persians and other Iranian cultures can do something similar too, but Han is elevated a bit for me due to Mystical Ancestors & Family Business.
Laith getting -5 advantage trying to pronounce ancient asian names
right, CK3 is really trying to step up its game, but I still think it's impossible for CK3 to come up with a DLC more interesting than CK2's Jade Dragon. The brilliance of Jade Dragon lies in how it enriches the content about China without actually needing to put China on the map. Sadly, it seems like CK3 is fixated on bringing the East onto the map.
yeah i recently started playing that region too and it is actually pretty fun change some real new units cultures etc
I played one of my first games in this area, starting with one of the counties on the far east edge of the map. I think I did it because I liked the idea of the super equal sacrifice religion so much lol
I looked into the human sacrifice as I did not know that and it looks like the Bön did in deed do that (Though it seems like this was slightly longer ago then the CK3 time, where I just found mention of animal and effigy sacrifices. But yeah, an early Buddhist described in shock how the Bön brought someone to the sacrifice place, made them look west (very important for some reason), then beheaded him while standing and the orientation in which the head ended up laying on the ground was used for divination. ...... Who was the first to come up with sick shit like this?
I have the plague settings etc on the lowest possible, and yet they are constantly appearing.
I'm thinking about naming all my starting characters Marcus Welby MD.
He finally has entered my lands…
"When it becomes more challenging?". Prepare for the Mongols then.
Laith you can just click on military and then click on your flag to instantly change the spawn point of your armies, press right click. Congrats, you are now faster than ever.
Still growing the hair laith? Paradox type of decision that our kid
tibets great for the Dynasty of Many Crowns achievement
You should play the Bronze Age mod
Laith play the Bronze Age Mod, its back!
I tested this region in ck2 once that was enough for me. I’d assume its more fun in ck2 because of jade dragon though
CK3 is generally more fun to actually. CK2 just has more wacky nonsense
@@derekskelton4187 eh i had more fun in ck2 than ck3, But i still have fun in ck3. Its just a lot more stuff to do in ck2
You're right, CK3 is really trying to step up its game, but I still think it's impossible for CK3 to come up with a DLC more interesting than CK2's Jade Dragon. The brilliance of Jade Dragon lies in how it enriches the content about China without actually needing to put China on the map. Sadly, it seems like CK3 is fixated on bringing the East onto the map.
Laith would you try out the More Bookmarks+ mod for CK3 if you haven't yet
The place you conquered nort first I played as them before. Painful😢
I mean, isp dod a whole mega campaign in this region, LONG LIVE SHANG
I always liked playing in Tibet, it was one of my favorite regions... It's fun...
I love watching Laith go absolutely Kham in Tibet
Bro has the same sleep schedule as us LMFAO
23:26 that's aang from avatar
For a desolate region the names are very fictional and cool
There is no way Tibet is played less than Siberia
Playing a diplomacy game is easier now with legends as it can give you kingdom level tier sway and I have a lot of fun with that
That practice of all the brothers marrying one woman is still practiced in some parts of Mongolia
Great thumbnail
Sadly Paradox are toxic to feedback and the greatest annoyance in the game will be here for some time. This annoyance is the continual messing around with your heirs. Now you have no choice about the ridiculous 'meet peers' event, and they just disappear. When they come back they are nearly always half dead. It is like the old Paradox trick with your heirs where they would go on years long magically mystery tours of the world and it was difficult to get them back. Same people, same dumb ideas.
"Assaulted the Guge." ... Laith.
I looked up "ck3" and said to myself if this has been posted within 1 day I ha e to subscribe. Five hours ago is within the timeline.
Did you try opening a Windows or McAfee support center with a $300 rebate?
I played there to get Nestorian India
I love your videos
When Factorio again?? 😊
Laith!!! You can click your rally points at the bottom of your military page!!!!!!!
Day 10 of asking you to play Victoria 2 semi regulary.
He's at it again
Should play as sicily for his next playthrough not gonna lie
someone had to read Melvin Goldstein in college
I'm so disappointed that you didn't name your character to be the Zaddy of Zadoi
i did the achievement to get tibet and it was pain
Played it once quite fun quite difficult
Blind monk? You mean Lee Sin?
Aight laith I got an exam tomorrow and its already 12:30am, im praying you are boring enough this video for me to fall asleep while watching.
It worked
Blind monk build!
Fun Fact: Homosexuality and cannibalism were practiced in some regions of medieval Tibet, and also at Durham University in the UK.
Name some graduates of Durham University, you say? Well...
I like one, but hate the other. I’ll give you a hint: I’ve been called homophobic.
@@TomfooleryOfTheTrollsyou’re not Jeffery Dahmer but Christ man
i literally just started ck3 and played there :( wym least played
It would be fun to defend against mongols with this build
Chillquest
There are places there who STILL have one woman, multiple males.
Very nice.
I'd love the option to disable tibet and india. They are barely ever impactful, they tank performance of the game.
Day 5 of asking Laith to play the Colthaginian Republic in Equestria at War
why are you saying china isn't played
*gulp* tibet?
Ck3 has so little going on outside of europe, i honestly regret all the money i sank into this game hoping it would get better.
A lot of Europe is barebones too. France has literally nothing going on that Tibet doesn’t have
Day 13 (1w6d) of asking for laith to play march of the eagles.
Would be cool to see a Ural faction too
Where tf is China
we need to reform this faith
we are not going to reform this faith 😂😂
Ive seeb more people play tibet then india ngl.
What the hell has happened to your hair 🤨
Day 247 of asking for an Oranje Free State Playthrough of Vicky 3.
No 17 seconds? Views fell off.
2:38 Laith, did your girlfriend educated you on that bit of region's history or was this your own... let's say, research?
playing as pagan is the best in the region you start with a holy site and you get elephants so you can just stomp everyone with them once you build up all you jungle provinces.
your the other typw od bönpo, not the human sacrifice one.
0:09 eewwwww Tyler Oliveira is awful.
why?
whg
form Muslim Italy as Tunis in EU4 and I'll tell my grandma to subscribe
Would have been much better to change your capital when you gained control of an entire duchy. Really weakened yourself for nothing
