Do you have a car now?
Mine is an old work truck, cargo style floor mat (no padding underneath, just recently took it out), bought new vinyl instead of cloth seats, air filter, heavly cleaned everything inside and out and I still can't get rid of the old work truck smell. I even placed vinegar in a bowl over night and got a arm and hammer odor absorber and still nothing. I tried the Ozone machine and it left a weird scent...I'm lost on what to do
My cabin filter is under the left side of the glove box. I just changed it. What is the best way to clean the vents? Still has a body odor smell. I have a warehouse job with no ac and sweat buckets. So.im sure thats the smell. I shampoo seats, carpets, i dont eat in my car. Just a Stanley water bottle which has never spilled. How can i easily remove vent smell.
Im a 65 yr old woman so i don't know much about this stuff.
you can also cut a green apple in half and put in the cup holders than toss after it turns brown
If you rebuild your car you can get the smell out. Smh

I recently replaced my timing chain, valve gasket seal, rear main seal on my 02 Ford Explorer XLT. I recently turned on my AC and it gave off a burning smell like smoke but it only comes the front underneath the car. There's no oil behind or on top of engine. Nothing happens when the heater is on just the AC. I did discover that oil drain plug has a small oil drip but it leaves no puddle. Could u guys tell me what I need to do? TIA

Well due to covid i put on my ac and it ad a sour kind of smell 🤢 so new filter and a bomb i guess

When I turn on heater in my car, The smell comes out is similar to dust. does any one know what to do about it?

if anyone could help me, my special needs sister peed in my front seat, I managed to remove the pee and odor of the pee from the carpet underneath but now the carpet (not the removable ones) spells heavily like chemicals despite using water + wet vac, also I took the seat out and sprayed the bottom side of the chair with a sanitizing spray but now the seat smells a lot like this gross spray and still a little bit of pee, there are a lot electronics attached to the seat so I can just water it down, I've used baking soda on the carpet and wherever I could on the underside of the seat, I aired out my car and sprayed fabreeze, any ideas how to get this horrible smell out? would a bunch of car fresheners work?
Let the car seat dry completely outside in shaddy area for a few days.. then buy an ozon generator and bomb the whole car with seat inside.. do two 30min sessions..
what about a bleach smell in the car and you never used bleach in the car before ?
Previous owner probably hid a pool treatment tablet somewhere in your car to deodorize it..
