- UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that “the UK does not directly sell arms to Israel, unlike the US” during a parliamentary session on Wednesday.
His remarks came after he was asked by Labour MP Richard Burgon why the government does not put an end to arms sales to Israel which has destroyed a large part of the Gaza Strip and killed over 30,000 Palestinians.
The UK has been criticised over continuing arms export licences to Israel. Sunak reiterated that the UK's position on arms export licences to Israel remains unchanged.

@TheBlazersfan22 You might want to look at reports which document Irans involvement in supplying arms, funding and training of Hamas fighters. Note many intelligence agencies know that Iran's "embassy" in Syria has been used to help terror groups like Houthis, Hamas, Hezbollah and other groups backed by Iran, hence the bombing which was carried out.
You should also note unlike Iran, Qatar is very western and allows people to party, drink and have sex out of wedlock. The brave leaders of Hamas live a billionaires lifestyle inside Qatar whilst their oppressed people live in horrific conditions, even before this conflict started.

Am I wrong to assume that's the reason why he says they don't DIRECTLY export weapons to Israel? I am not well versed in the UK laws and policies so best I can conclude from that statement is that they still do it indirectly, so if what you're saying is true then that explains it
