Heya Diggs super gathering of information and giving people thoughts on their loadout. I even use a 2 star Water Familiar for Water Attack boost skill he has since i don't have a 4 star Water Familiar yet. I also like the 3 star Whale for the shield i use him on World boss Ardor helps me keep alive and increase my DPS xD
I'm using 2* supports as it increases elemental attack by 10%, if max awaken,for 10 sec with 15s cooldown. I think it's quite effective for ppl who doesn't have rainbow or brilliant familiars atm.

Solar flare is a class specific skill [that you can buy with domination medals]

I had a question. Suiryu will do less dmg against earth enemies but boost your Attack power and you do a lot more dmg than Suiryu, esp with fire weapon. So will you really do more dmg with 700 less ATK familiar that get's 0-50% bonus to dmg it's dmg?
I'm so paranoid about wasting beans on familiars who won't be worth anything in a month or two lol.
the 3 star attack familiars are worth leveling specially if you don't have the 4 star attack counterpart for the element.
They are still used in Familiar adventures if you need a specific elemental advantage since you can't bring Dupes at all.
Where in the world do you get all these upgrade materials? I do the daily powerups, buy the shop ones with gold and it's still not enough

sir, how about the pvp deck? I've having trouble how should i make my pvp deck to maximize my damage when fighting players
Something I also noticed is that most the Power Up like Higgledies/Heart Stars don't increase Dark/Light dmg. Makes me think they will always be lower than other elements. Esp if consider Elite 4* Dark/Light weapons don't add % dmg to opposite element type like the others. I like you addressed this since I have been wondering for awhile how I should build out my Decks. Wish there was a formula to know how much crit % = how much elemental dmg and how much ATK = how much elemental dmg. Would be even better if there was a way to view average DPS.

Hey Diggs, I am curious about the attack and defense stats. Do we know how they work against each other? For instance, is it (Base Attack+Elemental Attack)-(Base Defense+Elemental Defense)=Damage? Or, is Base and Elemental calculated separately? Or, maybe it's not additive, but damage is divided in some manner based in defenses percentage to attack? This is important because the 3 star weapons are calculated to the stat before calculation, while the +25% damage to monsters should be calculated after. For instance let's say a player has 2000 elemental damage, and the defender 1800 Elemental defense, the difference is 200. But with the 3 star weapons +10% attack, the difference would be 400, so this could potentially be 100% more elemental damage! So as a result, the 3 star weapons may be better against strong opponents with high defense.
Also, depending on how defense works, this could make Tank familiars more relevant. Especially in pvp, if you see your opponent using a fire build you could swap in water tank familiars that give fire defense, and try to counter the opponent, and you could still keep your best in slot Elemental damage, since Elemental defense and Elemental damage are separate stats. Elemental defense is not tied to what weapon you are using.
Tldr: How do the attack and defense stats counter each other? Depending on how they work, it could completely change which weapons and familiars you want to use.
It has some effect like you actually said aka the game calculates .... Both stats in attack and defense. In PVP you would still go more the Asterite equip. You would still use other 4 stars tho for passive buffs like Skill dmg etc or run maybe later a build with equipment combined aka Dmg to frostbitten enemies on some accessories (Accesoires have unique properties tho and later Familiars get added for example that extend burn duration)
I have not found anything yet regarding the equations for attack/defense/elemental defense/critical hit rate. That is one of the things I am currently looking for.
how about the pvp deck?
do you know where to get good chunks of weapon varnish for each elements? my lvl is 55, im trying allegra plateau right now(lvl 53 water mobs) for water varnish but im not seeing any drops of it.
Chaos field is your best bet

For weapons, would it make sense to chose fire 4 star (+base att dmg) and light 4 star (leg+? The one with att spd%)?
I would say both are really good for a the 3rd slot if you use earth/water/dark weapons 2x, but perhaps using both if you have them, will net better results than using a build 3 star weapon in slot 2
Probably, but good luck getting that light 4* Leg+ and enhancing it to the point that it gets the crit DMG+ xD
@@DoctorDiggs tbh, getting it even once will probably be enough, no? Att spd% is always Good to Push dps. Sure, crits are nice, but 1 att/sec vs 1.5 Atts/sec will soon turn in favor of att spd build unless you can consistently get crits which are also enhanced by crit dmg
so running the 3 star fire bow as secondary slot, even when not in use you still get the added affects?? ive been running draggle too since when i started and got alot of the free summon tickets i got tons of him. i was a bit spoiled, i got lucky and have 7 4 star familiars and alot of 4 star equipment with all the free ish tickets from events since launch. but im seeing i shouldve invested in the crazy amount of 3 star pulls(as far as equipment and gear, being a mainly f2p player) instead of trying to level up and upgrade the four star stuff, just due to awakening. i went p2w a bit last night and spent around $20 on the cheaper starter packs and had gotten 35 familiar tickets, 10 ish equip tickets and 10 costume tickets....GUESS WHAT not a single 4 star or rare costume in all those pulls, i was having better luck doing single summons instead of the 10 at a time. so maybe something worth trying for some of you who dont have enough tickets for a 10 summon
Passives from Familiar/Weapon even if not "main hand" equipped stack. A combo as said for example is 4 star fire weapon (basic attack dmg up) works on all weapons if you have in the "set". Problem is it doesn't increase the "Elemental attack". For example other combos include Natrium's earring in a Earth attacking set since it gives flat earth damage up(would outperform even a higher CP Earring unless you want to have a very special effect)
I think you mean 4* fire bow since that is the one that gives the basic attack passive. So yes.
Do you think the 10% crit chance from the Milky Way spear is worth running alongside 4 star fire spear in place of max awakened 3 star weapons?

Maybe basic attack is not the way to go for Destroyer? Just cuz the atk speed for Destroyers is really slow lol!
I've heard most of destroyers damage comes from basic attacks. So unsure.
I have been messing around with this , I usually run dps/10+awakened support/ third spot , never thought of putting another +10 awakened support, I have been messing around with hogoblin/bunnybot/ flutterby/dinoceros, sparkee, I feel a light or dark in that third spot does well. Still not sure who is giving me more damage in general purposes. Also what about running bunnybot with 2 attack familars. Still not sure how long these+10 awakened supports will be viable, I dont plan on really leveling them, eventually the raw cp from higher units prolly passes them up.
Raw CP unfortunately though is not elemental advantage or ability advantage. Running a support familiar that isn't helping you deal damage in a PvE situation for example might be completely useless unless you NEED the support. Kind of why I use Rambunctus instead of Staghorn. Rambunctus atleast has an offensive ability that has elemental advantage.
Doc, how would Rare 4* weapons factor into mono-decks?
I was fortunate enough to pull a Rare 4* Light Weapon. Would it be in my best interest to keep it in all my decks?
For example: in a water deck,
4* water weapon,
3* water weapons,
Rare 4* weapon

I have a rare 4* if you look at my earth element section. I do think 4*+ Earth 4* earth 4* Fire will be good for me eventually.

Yo, in making decks, does the "special skill damage" in 4* water weapons increase the heals of an engineer?

@@DoctorDiggs currently i run, 4* legend dark +4*fire and earth for pvp.. and im conflicted for my elemental deck, if i run 2 elem 4*3* +fire or i go for legend dark, or i go elem+fire+legend dark.. crit rate is good, but also basic atk
How many awakening would a 3 star equipment need to beat the stats of a 4 star equipment without awakening? (Same level)

Base attack of 4 stars is way much better than running the 3 stars

element wont give you bonus damage as player have no element
Best PVP weapons are the Darkness Weapons you can buy for Asterite, as they give + Damage against players. But this is more of a long term goal. For now I would go for Water or Earth as you can equip a 4 star Necklace that gives you + Damage in Water or 4 star Earrings that gives you + Damage in Earth.

@@databaseboy I go 4star earth, water and fire weapon so I get skilldamage, specialskilldamage and autoattackdamage Bonus. Then, if all weapons are on the same Level, I choose earth or water because of the possibility of the Accessoire damage boost for this elements.

Showtime and Blazing Heart not worth it?
Was wondering this too. Im almost at lvl max blazing heart currently. Since it gives 20 secs uptime on a 30 secs cd at max. Been wondering if i went maxing the correct class skill first.
They definitely have their purposes. I am more interested in PvE killing speed candidly. I want that elemental advantage from AoE spells.

Is thee not damage test dummy nowhere in the game, I see everybody talking about if this is good or isnt, but nobody actually doing amy test to compare. I am too lazy and its too hard to tell what everything is doing. I know it would be hard , but maybe you could do it for at least one elemental set , trying taking out draggle , and running your 3 highest attackers, try taking off 3 star bow and putting on the 3 , 4 stars, ect....
check your skill tab, you can test most of your damage there except for normal attack.
