I do a cruise to Alaska every year, since I live near Seattle which is convenient, since I don't have to fly. I've done a April cruise last year, so weather can be chilly with still snow in higher elevations if you do any excursions while up there. Make sure to give yourselves a day or two extra to visit our two National Parks which is easy driving from Seattle. Also make sure you have binoculars for whale watching while on cruise. Be prepared for rain and cool temps, but being from the UK, you are probably used it.

Thank you SO much for this… it’s the exact information we’ve been looking for (and asking for on our videos)! We’re hoping to get out to the parks, but have to squeeze in a Mariner’s game (vs Guardians) we’ve booked. We’re also considering the tours that take you beneath the city… are these worthwhile?

@@TravellingWithTeens In the many years I have lived in WA state, I have never done the underground tour, but I have heard it is really cool. You can try going up the Space Needle, I haven't been there since the remodel, where the put safety glass on the floor area where you can look down nearly 600 feet.....definitely not for the people with issues on heights.

    Guys!, loved your video.
Next time try the San Diego Zoo Safari park, such a different experience.
I’m from Mexico, just want to say, California when was part of Mexico, was not Baja California, was Alta California.
Baja California and Baja California Sur still exist in Mexico.
Also Fiesta de Reyes it’s not the Mexican version of Christmas, Christmas is celebrated here, called Navidad, and Día de reyes is on January 6th, it’s a Spanish tradition that came to Mexico and celebrate the 3 kings came to visit Jesus after his birth.

Thanks so much - we love learning new things… even when we’ve got things wrong! (PS We lived in Spain for over six years, and there Reyes is a far bigger holiday than Christmas… interesting to know the difference in Mexico!)

@@TravellingWithTeens what’s special of Reyes here in Mexico, is that families get together to eat Rosca de Reyes, it’s like a bread that comes with small figures inside, who ever gets the figure buys Tamales for everyone, on February 2th, on the día de la candelaria.
Again thank you for a Great video!
