I think one of the most salient comments made by Ron White is "You can't fix stupid."
Ron White's signature "S*** eating grin" wasn't because of his trying to hold his laugher back....he just had a way of delivering a punchline in an all knowing way that just said "yeah, I just said that. Laugh if you want but don't puke while you are doing it" I know of a couple people with this skill as they would just look at you when something happened that was just so obviously stupid you couldn't help but wait for that "S*** eating grin"
Ron's delivery is pure Texas. I've known more than a couple guys who had about the same sense of humor, and an identical cadence.

Ron White is a rather unique comedian. There have been some like him in the past, but he still manages to be one of a kind.
The airplane skit reminded me of my Dad's comment after my first flight. I told him we took off & landed 6 times to get to our destination. He said "At least you landed as many times as you took off." Right, Dad. Thanks.

A bar I tended at was down the street where he preformed at one night. 2015 in Joliet IL at the Rialto. He came in after his show, with three bottles of Johnny Walker Green Label, mind you those are 70 dollars a bottle. He came in, 1,000 dollars on the bar, 500 for him and his party, 500 and a bottle of Green Label for the bartender, me, to serve him until he couldn't stand up. One the best celebrities I got to serve for. Even off stage he was hilarious and awesome.

First time seeing Ron White. He's hilarious! His style and the smoking and whiskey remind me of the comedian Dave Allen in the 1970's.

That death penalty shit is so spot on. Every state should have an express lane!
My only problem is that prosecutors will pay 'witnesses' thousands of dollars to testify or to change their story. Sometimes the prosecution will give them immunity even knowing that the 'witness' is actually the perpetrator. There's been more than one story of a 'witness' going through trial then get witness protection then wind up killing people. There's multiple flaws with witnesses and how the prosecution uses them. I suppose I have another issue and that's how many innocent people have been put to death. In Missouri for example there was a guy not even close to the crime, the D.A. had his own special court, the guy had incompetent public defenders and they tried him five times before finally getting a conviction. While the prosecutor was patting himself on the back and probably looking for a promotion, the man's last words were something a long the lines of 'Your'e executing an innocent man.' It's estimated that there are 20,000 innocent people in prison and another several thousand that are in there through no fault of their own.

And yet Texas has one of the higher murder rates and in general states with the death penalty have higher murder rates. I guess it isn't because you want to deter crime. I guess you just want to kill people.
Imagine you're on an airliner and the in-flight Entertainment System starts showing a news story of a plane with the front landing gear sideways that's about to try to make an emergency landing and it just happens to be the plane that you're on. There are local news helicopters taking pictures of the whole thing showing them to you.

Oh guys! I'm subscribing just for the comment about a small plane in Minnesota. Been there!
Only guy on it but the pilot and copilot. They had me sit all the way in back to balance the plane!!
I saw they still had ashtrays, although that week the company had made smoking a no no. I asked if I could smoke if I cleaned up everything after? They said no. Which is okay, until later they both lit up!!!
So, knowing this trick from being a jerk in a car, I moved my rear around and sure enough, the whole plane shook!
They were checking all their instruments, trying to figure out what happened. Hey, I was having a nicotine fit so I didn't even think about safety. I did it again!
This time they both turned around really fast to try to catch me. I just smiled and made like I had a smoke in my hand. 😊

Diamonds are actually the most common gemstone out there. But thanks to the beers and a few other companies way back in the 19 teens and 1920s diamonds are the most expensive gemstone because they keep a large reserve of diamonds to keep the market wanting more. The fact of the matter is Ruby's, sapphires, and so many more gemstones are much rarer and therefore should be more valuable but because the diamond companies did that 100 years ago they're not.

My dad used to own a J3 Cub which is a single engine two seater. It took off the ground going about 60mph. It was an old WW2 trainer. We took a lot of pictures of farms for extra money to pay for the gas.
My smallest passenger plane was up in Alaska and i had to sit next to a fisherman that had spent a few hours in the airport bar along with most of the other passengers. I made sure he sat on the aisle seat with quick access to the bathrooms. When we landed they had a machine that they stuck the suitcases on and went from the plane to the ground and you grabbed your stuff.
When i got to town i then got on a company DC3 with one seat besides the cockpit and sat right behind the pilots and got to see what they saw taking off and landing which was cool.
On the way back at the end of the summer i took the spare company plane back to town and stayed overnight before i left.
I think it was a C147? That i flew back in because someone had run a forklift into the other planes landing gear.

Hahaha oh man Ron is pure gold you two will love hits stuff, also for his airplane skit he does that for some city's he is in that has an airport's that are very close and technically he could take a bus but instead it was a sort 20 min trip by small propeller airplane. I live in Ontario Canada an this bit was in Montreal Quebec and by plane from Toronto Ontario to Montreal is 20ish mins lmao
