It's truly ridiculous that discrete surround playback is still rare in vehicles...my '77 Lincoln even has it with it's quadraphonic 8 track player. I think Lexus had it for a while. I have a Jeep with the Infinity stereo that plays DVD Audio, but only in stereo. It's great that Acura got Elliot and stuck with it.
I hold Elliot's work over the years in such high regard. Truly among the very best engineers to ever do it...
