In this fishing video I'm fishing the Mepps Syclops 2 Spoon and the Storm Wildeye Pike to see which fishing lure will come out on top. It's a great matchup, two very different fishing lures that both attract fish. Sometimes big fish! Make your prediction now on which fishing lure you think will win this fishing challenge.
Thanks so much for watching. I appreciate each and every view.

Nice Georgian Bay/Parry Sound. I'm from Long Island NY. Me and 3 buds drove up to there in early 90's. I do not remember who we rented the cabin and boats from. We were up just after Ice out early spring, had a blast. But had to be careful since the rock shelf markers weren't set yet. Great Country up there. Sadly we never went back. It was a bit of a drive. We ended up Fishing in Deep River Ontario after that. We would go every other year for a bit. But again sadly it has been a while. Life got in the way, I guess. Canada is a Beautiful Place.

Caught me a 38" Pike using a Rapala 4-3/4" HJ12 Tennessee Shad, Husky Jerk. And had an even larger one snap my line throwing a yellow dot, dressed treble #5 Mepps Black Fury.

Thanks for watching the channel. Sounds like you were targeting the big ones! Congrats on that huge Pike. We are so blessed with some great fishing options for sure! Great to see our American cousins making it up to Canada to enjoy what we have to offer.

another great video! im my expericnce swimbaits are great in smaller lakes or ponds guessing less bait more competetion, spoons work great on bigger lakes but has a much higher chance of getting snagged

looks like a fun day on the water
I would suggest that you take the fish off the hook a bit quicker out of respect for the fish.
THEN do the talking to the camera. Don't leave a fish hooked up thrashing in your net...they will get injured that way.

I get ya… I always wish the best for the fish. So you are right on this. The 2nd catch I assume you are referring to. In any case it is a good reminder.

@@fishingrelaunched4864 yeah.. I actually wrote my comment before you caught the big fish... and then proceeded to talk about how much you care for the fish... so my bad.. props to you.
      keep being awesome :)
