All good things must come to an end eventually, are you going to miss Aerosmith?
Rock on!
I luv Aerosmith, I saw em 3 times!âïžđ€đ»
Thats so cool, your mom must be awesome! I saw the stones once in Oklahoma, Metallica 4 times in OKC! Keep rocking! đđđđ
Not really because Steven Tyler has to be the center of the band and heâs ridiculous annoying so not at all. Well, maybe the band but not him good riddance stay retired.
Years go by so fast. Most of those members of 1970s bands that are still living are as you say in their mid 70s now and some even older. Some such as Steve Miller and Mick Fleetwood as well as the Rolling Stones are now in their 80s (ex-Stone Bill Wyman will be 88 this year) It was a great ride and we still have the music to listen to.
crossing the finish line with ALL members breathing. No small accomplishment. Well done!
One of the best bands ever, will be missed
Thx for making our generation great.
I canât believe it, life goes so quickly. I could listen to Steven sing all the time amazing.
Wow. Running around in my 1963 chevy 11 nova back in early 70's cranking Aerosmith on my cassette player. Toys in the attic. Memories
I miss those daysđ„
Oh yeah and I had a Pumpkin Orange Chevy Van (Dan the Van) running around town with Toys cranked on the 8-Track, mirrored windows, and smoking..... Oh yeah Memories
It was / is..Get Your Wings for me.
Ha!
Don't forget the ROCKS 8 track đ
It's really sad to see them go. I have been a fan of Aerosmith since the 70's I love them and there music đ¶ đ”
As a die-hard Aerosmith fan (I also grew up in Massachusetts and went to college in Boston.), I will DEFINITELY be sorry for them to go but they have earned their retirement.
Love Aerosmith and so sad to know this will be their last tour but we can be grateful and humbled that we were fortunate enough to enjoy their music for as long as we have. They are icons in the music world. â€â€â€â€â€â€â€â€
From Sept 1971 to 1972 I was lucky enough to live in the apartment above theirs at 1325 Comm Ave. Back then they were as poor as I was but their lifestyle was still so cool to 18 year old me. Some great smoke clouds rolled from out of their living room windows and into ours. They had also passed through our apartment several times to use the fire escape to get into their place.
Took my wife to see them for her first time in 1974 at a hockey arena. Paid $10 for two tickets. We took our daughter to see them on their Pump tour with the Black Crows and again with my grandson in September 2022. So sad that this will be their last tour. They will be missed!
wow
Amazing, 1325 Commonwealth is a notable address in Boston.
Great memories for you.

@@sameold5050 If you haven't already, you should listen to, 1971: The Road Starts Hear. It was recorded in the time just prior to them signing their Columbia Record deal. When I heard the intro track, the banter going on in the background brought me back to hearing them while sitting at my kitchen table. There is a roughness to the music I actually like and it remains one of my favorite albums. Aerosmith before the polish!
@@charlierice4583
I have it on vinyl & CD.
Love it.
đ
@@sameold5050 I have a first run copy of their first album, the one that's a collectors item because of a misspelling, and have been trying for years to get it signed. I got Joey Kramer to sign it in 2009 when he was doing a Zildjian promotion at a local drum store in Portland Maine. Maybe someday I'll get the others but it seems time is running out.
My first concert age 16 still rockin 50 years later!!
I believe this band is among the few that still has all members alive.
Let's knock on wood. What about the Stones though?
@@zechariahcameron3645 you're obviously too young to remember Brian Jones and more recently Charlie Watts.
@Joe-ey7cu thanks for thar tip. I didn't know some had pass. The story of Brian is sad. Just looked it up. What about U2? Are they all still here?
@@zechariahcameron3645 I'm not sure but I've never heard of the deaths of any U2 members. Yes, the story of Brian Jones was sad considering he actually started the Stones and by '69 he was out because he became too unpredictable.
If you count original members Kiss also has all 4 original members left.
We will always have their music. Everyone should stop, relax and enjoy life. Their fans wish them well. Live long and prosper.
I was lucky too see em 3 times! Rock on Aerosmith!!!!! đșđČâïžđ€đ»
I got see them twice really good concerts.
@@edgarmullins9327 rock on bro!!!!âïž
Iâve been listening to Aerosmith since the beginning. Yâall had a helluva run boys!
High pitch notes and screaming so good for a long time can definitely cause problems to the vocal chords.
Steven Tyler is a great front man. If this is the end, he has given a lot to the rock world. He has to take care of his health.
Thanks Aerosmith for rockin' great. đž
Definitely one of the best absolutely will be missed
So sad, we use to see them in the early 70âs in local MA clubs for $1, so sorry to hear this đżđđż
This is a legendary rock band with all members intact. That is no small feat in the rock genre let alone any genre. They have rocked us for decades and will be missed.
This is regrettable news; been an Aerosmith fan since their inceptiion, but Tyler must preserve his health - that goes beyond any vanity - & I'd rather know he's in good shape than make an unrealistic expectation that would coerce him to perform unnecessarily. You've served us well, guys, & your music continues to live on - Thank you !
Its sad to see them go but they gave us a good run thanks guys for being one of the best â€đđđą
Aerosmith was my first concert and they were on fire...totally incredible â€
These guys are one of the old rock bands that still fucking rock go see them before itâs to late they have bin doing this so long I bought the 1st album when I was 12 yrs old Iâm now 64 they never let me down
I used to see them at Bear Brook back in 72'. I've probably seen them at least 25 times. They ROCK! SEE YA GUYS
Love Aerosmith!! especially the 70s stuff.
All through high school, this band rocked my friends & I, we listened to Aerosmith! â€â€â€â€ A great band... We're with you always!
Will be missed but never forgotten đ€đ€ đž
We are Honored to see them next year they Will Rock Us All and Aerosmith will leave will Grace and Respect and Honor and Move on with their personal life and family â€â€â€â€â€â€ Thank you Peace Love to all
Yes, it hurts me to hear đą that, I enjoyed their concerts back in the days. When they were still fresh off the vine . Love and Peace to you boy's â€
Thank you Aerosmith. Thank you Steven Tyler. I am really happy to have road the same time in life as your band's success. It has really meant a lot. Missed you Steven over in Lititz at Bomberger's Store. I have admired your music for decades. I was raising a daughter who is now 37. She still looks back and says, "Dad, I miss the days back in the trailer." We had Aerosmith, Full House, each other and food on the table. She misses those days. For me, however, its been you guys since the mid seventies. 1st run of Aerosmith's Greatest Hits. You guys had a good run. As, I as well, 39 years in the Toolmaking industry. Very tough the last few years. You Rocked the Planet. I rocked the little part of my world here. Rest up a little Ty. The Aerosmith, front running madman. OOOO, brother.
Salute!!! And a salute to the greatest frontman in rock!!! You boys done GOOD!!!
they have given soooo much of themselves to keep the band alive and pumpin out the hits maybe its time for them to get some rest but they will surely be missed
All Good things come to an end Aerosmith made me enjoy life a lot more one of my favorite bands all time, thanks for making the Music of a generation !!!
First saw Aerosmith in 1975, about three weeks after "Toys In The Attic" hit the shelves. Seen them a total of ten times since, all the possible ways, with Brad Whitford, but no Joe Perry, without both Brad and Joe, their infamous "reunion" show in Lynn, Mass, and the for the last last time in September of 2001. The original date of 9/13 being rescheduled for obvious reasons. I kept going back for more, because I couldn't get enough. Have a great retirement boys, you've earned it.
55 rocking years!!! On the short list of all time greats for sure!!
Seeing Steven Tyler howl at the moon (Lake Tahoe), is a moment that will stay with me until I pass away.
You will be missed
When it comes to Ageing, TIME is the Biggest Thief of Allđ
Yes it very sad to see such a legendary hard rock band go out this way ,their sheer amount of excellent rocking songs just goes on.
Do what you need to do Steven your health is first, love you guys, will always, thank you for all the good songs will miss you, take care.â€
Rocks was the first of their albums that I heard as a kid.
I've been blessed to have seem them 9 times from the seventies to the nineties I'm not sure I can afford to make the last tour but I'm gonna dam well try too
As they retire but their music will live on.
They've enjoyed an incredible career. Congratulations to Aerosmith for all the great tunes throughout the years and the many years rocking our asses off. đŒđ”đ¶
Of course I'm sad but like you said all good things and even all things must come to an end. Rock on Aerosmith!! đ€
So sorry to hear that
One of my favorite influences, I have seen them 3 times in roanoke va. U guys will be missed.
Not really Sad, more like Relieved that they all Got Out Alive! (The Original 5 Members) doing the 'Farewell Tour'. I got to see them Live twice, in Dec 77 & Aug 94, so I have No Regrets!
Saw Aerosmith in 1971 at a frat party at Boston University. Steve Tyler had the same personality he does now, and they slew.
so sad they are awesome there will never be another
Itâs sad but they have to retire someday. Love Aerosmith.
I have always and will forever love Aerosmith, Their music will live on in their albums, Thank you for your contribution to the world of great musicians đ€đžđžđ„â„â„
Dude ... they had a good run! I'm 70 and have been listening since their inception. A bit too much "drama" for alleged "gods of rock" ... but they endured. Peace out man!
My 1st concert was Aerosmith 1978 Draw The Line tour. A little band I'd never heard of called AC/DC OPENED TICKETS WERE $16.50 ea . Good times
As great as Aerosmith has been over the years AC/DC were better during that tour.
Draw The Line was the beginning of the downward spiral for Aerosmith.
Permanent Vacation was the beginning of the resurgence about 10 years later, the biggest comeback in entertainment history.
Sobriety đ.
@@sameold5050 I agree AC/DC mopped the floor with them. I've seen Aerosmith Once.Ac/DC 4 times. Jeff Beck 9 times.
Yes Iâm very sad đą
That's sad love Aerosmith â€ïž
Sad news but Aerosmith has had an amazing career. Rock on Aerosmith!!!
Lâ„ïžVE Steven Tyler & Aerosmith
Hope they will stay Healthy and Rock on with this Tour

I hope to see them, i've never seen them even though i lived in massachussetts many year's, I use to listen to their 8 track tape's in the early 70's, i guest that's when they 1'st came out, toy's in the attic & rock's were my favorite, joe perry's style of playing is awesome, I hope to see them 2024, good morning U.S.A.â€đđ đ
No , Iâm not sad Iâve seen Areosmith a few times in Detroit in the 70âs ,80âs and early 90âs they were great ! Now itâs time to retire Thanks Areosmith PorkChopPete Livonia,Michigan
"Know when to say when". Seems the synopsis of this post. I like Aerosmith, they rock and have been doing it forever. Unfortunately, there comes a time when you have to say "I just can't do it anymore". I think it's that time for them. Sad to see. Nothing lasts forever.
Love their music, but the all of us there comes a time to head for the barn. Their music lives on for the enjoyment of the masses.
Best band ever.
My hearts done time.
Saw them back in 77 first concert U F O opened up for them great show
Steven...prayers for you! Much â€
In the early 70's there was Aerosmith and everybody else. They were huge. he came the show where Tyler assed out and couldn't finish the show.' They lost many fans that night. I remember kids throwing out their aerosmith albums and eight tracks. They were so pissed off.
FAVORITE ROCK BAND since I was 15 the first FOUR albums are LEGENDARY AEROSMITH, GET YOUR WINGS, TOYS IN THE ATTIC, and ROCKS every SONG! Then my favorite band was JUDAS PRIEST when I heard thier album SIN after SIN
lol like minds think alike...The First four albums packaged as a set should be called Beethovan in a Box...Early Judas Priest kicked ass. I also loved Nazareth. Rock on @nicholaosmiller5064
Hopefully, they will do this tour, honestly without music and vocal shenanigans. They, along with Kid Rock, are my favorite live shows ever. I've been going to concerts since 76. I've seen some great ones.
Bon Jovi should take a hint and learn a lesson from this. Their time is coming as well.
Let the band chill out, please. I love them but am in mid-70âs myself. I believe they have earned their retirement,
Saw them at Pacific Coliseum Vancouver BC permanent vacation tour.87 Excellent
They sounded like a southern band, I would not have guessed Boston.
A southern band ?đ
I am a big fan of ballsy rock. NOBODYâS FAULT does the trick for me!!đ
I ts sad but I know people start having problem s or have done all they can do. I will always treasure and admire their music and engenuity
Good band they will be missed
It's sad that another real rock band is gonna be done. But Aerosmith been going down with the new stuffs they released pass years they were great in the 70's and 80's. After the album Pump they started slowly to loose theire grip on good rock songs.
But hey Aerosmith deserve to be in the best đ€
I've always wanted to see Aerosmith but never had a chance to see them live cause I always working
It's about time Great Grandpa.
I got rid of most of my CDs, but I`ll never give up my BOX OF FIRE!
Is this incredible news?
Not even close; nothing lasts forever, and rock bands are great evidence of it. Since, in a general way, rock music has always been a young man's game, the holding-on of the dream or the popularity among fans, is truly just a grab at immortality, or keeping a person's youth, as much as possible.
It never works but being financially comfortable and with a legacy that should last a while, is good.
And making reasonably sure you are covered in the afterlife, is the last most important thing to do. Enjoy the ride, until the road narrows, and stay the course.đčđŒ
Yes of course Iâm sad about this but itâs true all things must come to an end at some point and Iâm happy for them because they are such a great band and itâs heartbreaking to see them leave but itâs true
I saw guns n' roses open up for Aerosmith in the late 80s in Sacramento probably one of the better concerts I've seen
Donât think Joey will be touring with them.
Unfortunately, yes.
Being a drummer in a rock n roll band isn't easy when you get older.
Most difficult physically of any musical instruments.
I thought it would have ended 10 years ago. The fact that they are all still alive it unreal. Especially with Tyler & Perry. They are the worst. Those boys have drank a ton of booze and everyone knows about the other distractions in their lives.
Part of TRUE AMERICAN HISTORY đ.
LEGENDS FOR ALL THEIR ABILITIES AND
A SOUNDTRACK OF LIFE đ.
THANK YOU GUYS!!! ,
WHAT ACCOMPLISHMENT or EXPERIENCE OF A "" LIFETIME ""đ
THANK YOU FOR THE YEAR'S.
BRUCE HUFFSTUTLER,04.. 2024
This is old news unless you've been living in a box!
I'm the man in the box, buried in my shit! ha ha ha ha ha ha
My first concert was "The Joe Perry Project" after his first tour after departing Aerosmith for "Let the music do the talking" his first solo album. Unfortunately his lead singer was not well received (although I thought that album had some solid songs). My take today in my 60's? Aerosmith contributed a great body of work in their time but retirement should be a good thing for them. Always referred to them as the American Rolling Stones.
So, Tylerâs voice is strong enough to get back at it? Love that bandâŠ
am i going to miss areosmith?, are you kidding?? what a band, what songs, what a legacy, of course but at the same time it hurts to me see these bands live now that they have lost the peak of their talents, i like to remember to them when they were at the top of their game
Sorry to hear guys that you are stop playing but you guys deserve it to retire at you age and live your life out as you all want to be it's about time guys God bless
From Harbour Station Saint John NB, Joe comes to the mic and says "we are breaking the brand new arena's cherry." đ
Just remember guys . . . we're seeing this retirement notice on CZcams. The most believable source of information on the entire internet. If, however, this news is true, I wanna add my voice to those who say they're gonna really miss Aerosmith. At least they're getting out alive. God bless you, guys.
My first concert 1974 Rocks tour Buffalo
yes
At least they know when to go. On the other hand the Rolling Stone will perform on and on coming out on stage on walkers and wheel chairs. All good things come to an end. When you are over 70 touring is quite hard and lets just say they have been rode hard and put up wet a lot of times. All that takes a toll.
As old as the Stones are now and still going makes me think of the South park episode where they bring Rod Stewart out on stage in a wheelchair and he says "pooped my pants" đ that'll be them if they go much longer.
I liked their 70s stuff. Their first 5 albums were excellent after that not so much
Every rock band says this is going to be their last tour.. I remember in the 1990s seeing Ozzy Osbourne live and he said this was his last time outđđ
I am good with it. Tyler keeps relapsing over and over again. They had their day day, but, the time has come to hang it up.
