U would not believe the black soot inside these machines .. Dissasemble with care, everything this thing is made of will brake easy. The only advantage to these is they aren't easy to tip over. I'd rather buy a 1500 watt heater for 50 bucks.

My eden pure is currently the only thing heating my 1000 sqft plus room on a 6° Michigan morning... im in a hoodie and im quite warm and comfortable. Best space heater ive used

I bought a gen 3 about 10 years ago. A few years in, 2 of the heating elements broke at the ends to where I just reattached them and it's been working fine. 3 years ago, I bought an Eden Pure Copper Plus. The gen 3 is an older model but has a much superior thermostat that regulates the heat. It operates like a car cruise control in going slightly hotter or cooler and the fan faster or slower to regulate the temperature. If it gets to warm it will shut off and then back on too. But the Copper Plus thermostat regulates by full blast heat to shutting off completely, then back to full blast heat again. That's like a car cruise control flooring the cars gas to then coasting for a while, to flooring the gas again. This makes the room temperature feel to hot to then to cool. The gen 3 is an older model but IMO, is the better heater.
I bought a Gen4 a few years ago and had to replace the heating elements twice, but it does work good with fresh bulbs. Cost around $75 to replace bulbs

Just pulled ours out of my shed it's been in a outside no heat or ac shed for 5 plus years cracked on top of heater and little in the front.. gotnit for Christmas probably 10 plus years ago just plugged it in and still works

I had a gen 3 edenpure ran it entire heating seasons for 8 years with same bulbs they truly are dependable heaters and work great. Infrared heaters simply work best of any electric heaters I’ve ever used
Our greenhouse heater died and I have just put my EdenPure 1325W heater in there as a backup until I can get one suitable for the greenhouse environment. I've had it on maximum power for a few days now on AUTO setting, which says that when it gets to a set temperature, it should trip off... but I don't see any place to set the temperature, so it must be pre-set. I checked on it yesterday - a full sun day - and the greenhouse was a toasty 82F but the heater was still running full-force! So I'm not sure how hot it has to get before the AUTO mode puts the heater into standby.... I let it keep running because I new it was going down to 13F at night. When I checked on it this morning (after a low of 13F at night), it was still running at full force and the greenhouse temperature had fallen to 36F, but at least it was above freezing! The greenhouse is 10' x 15' (150 sq feet), but with nighttime temperatures so cold, the EdenPure could just barely keep things from freezing... but I'm happy with that. (We lost some plants the night the original heater died and we had teen temperatures at night). A replacement greenhouse heater is coming in another 4 days... I pray the EdenPure can keep up okay until then. It's on a 30 amp circuit, and at 120V, 1325W, it's only drawing 11 amps... not sure how long before that overheats the wires or power strip it's plugged into. So many places where something can go wrong. Now I'm 4 hrs away and have to have someone check on it once a day.... but since the outdoor temperatures will be milder, I may have the person lower the output to a little less than maximum. I contacted EdenPure to try to find out for how many days straight their heater is designed to be able to handle running at full power and didn't get an answer. I guess only time will tell if my old unit (which I had for many years - gift from my parents - but had never used) will hold up. I don't think anyone here has truly put one of these to the test like I'm doing now! So it's lasted Saturday, Sunday, and Monday so far! ...has to make it to Friday!
The label on the front of mine says simply EdenPURE Quartz Infrared Portable Heater. The only buttons on the front are to increase or decrease temperature (hence power), a button to toggle between AUTO and HIGH (= continuous) mode, and the power button. There is no place to set the temperature. I have mine running at the "maximum temperature" which, according to the info printed on the back of the unit, is whatever comes from 1325 Watts (the maximum output. Nothing fancy.

Quick update: the heater has been running at maximum output from Saturday evening 1/20/24 to this morning, 1/25/24 (that's nearly 5 days straight) when I had a friend check on it (it was fine!) and turn it down 3 notches since the weather is a tad warmer and I'm trying to relieve the strain on the unit until the replacement heater comes and can be installed. Update on delivery of the new unit is by 10pm Friday (tomorrow) which means my friend will not be able to install it until Monday, so the EdenPure has to keep chugging through this weekend!

But the bulbs are from mexico, the problem are with the bulbs short out causing the cord to get hot, be careful of the eden pure USA 1000 heater. I had them changed five times.
I appreciate you comment sir but I know that the bulbs can go bad in just about anything but in all the years I’ve used this old heater not one time have I had to replace it’s bulbs there’s good and bad in everything especially room heaters mine has never disappointed me thanks for watching god bless 👍👍
I really need one of these our heat doesn’t work well at all and let’s not mention the 1700$ bill I got last year and what’s sad is we weren’t even warm for that price! I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Eden Pure heater I really want and need on for me and my children but I can’t afford it the heater costs my whole pay check but it’s worth it I know… I believe my mom had one of these and she had no heat in her house but you couldn’t tell it, her house was always warm and It was a 3 bedroom one bath not too big but it warmed the whole house she only needed a extra heater in the bathroom! I seen some on eBay for like 150$ but I’m scared to buy one cuz I know how much they are so it makes me think it’s either gone out or about to go out! I’m glad I found this video I’m gonna work out a way to get one somehow forsure

Hello deborah I appreciate you for sharing this with everyone, listen if the plug end it’s self is not working it’s simple just to get a new plug and replace the old one, just cut the old plug off the cord about 4 or 5 inches back from the plug, remove the coating from the wires then put the wires back together very carefully and tighten them securely, then just put some electrical tape on the wires and your done ✅ hope this helps stay warm, god bless,😀
We have 2 that are from 2008. About as old as yours. We unplugged the larger one and plugged it on a different place and at wouldn't turn back one. We let it sets over night and now it came on. Have you ever had had happen? Thanks!

I’m getting a shed for an outdoor office, I live on east coast we have very cold winters, I will have the shed insulated professionally, I’m wondering will one of these keep it warm it will be a 10x16 which is 180 sq ft and on their website it says it heats 1000 sq ft, so it shouldn’t have a problem right? Just don’t want to be cold in winters considering I’ll be spending long days in there

Problem is everyone else could be using 10 worth in parts, its very hard to tell value these days and I have heard that these use better parts than the rest. Doing research ours crapped out after ten years.
