Sam and darlin’s relationship started with them meeting, then slowly getting closer and falling for each other, with this video being the one where they finally get together. Therefore, it’s considered a slow burn :).

And my list of favorites is getting quite lengthy at this point, haha. But that's a great thing, no doubt about it! The relaxing and romantic energy of this audio is fabulous. Plus, the earnest, open communication... It doesn't get better than that! It has been such a joy to watch Sam gradually grow closer to the listener, in both friendship and amorous connection. Commenting on here again because I just can't stop thinking about his confession.
Confessions normally make me feel extremely anxious, there's something about someone just going from 0 to 100 intensity and saying "I love you" out of nowhere that makes me terrified.
But Sam... He was just so not overly intense and emotional, but still managed to sound so honest and loving. He does not put the listener in a position where they *need * to reciprocate his feelings, and I just love how he doesn't explicitly says that he loves Darling yet.
This is the first time I've ever felt so safe during a confession (he even made my eyes watery ahhhg), and it's coming from a fictional character HAHA.
ALSO, the little sounds and deep breaths as we cuddle with him?!?!?! I- It just makes me so incredibly happy to hear him being so relaxed for once 👏😭🖤
