He doesn’t have anything to do with her credentials as an actress but he undoubtedly is the reason she’s considered a fashion icon. Her deal with Louis Vuitton is thanks to his vision for her. He has every right to assume that they’re entering the fashion house together and is reasonable for demanding he be treated as such.
Zendaya got the job because she is Zendaya,her face sells.

At the end of the day,looks count a lot, Hollywood is about talent and looks,but more looks.

I always thought people loved him and respected him in thr industry. We really dont know his experience behind the scenes but i feel like maybe that incident made him feel insignificant. Even though we all know hes not. Everyone has a breaking point and only he knows he needs a break.
Law Roach has spoken multiple times about the racism and classism he’s faced in the industry, and I guess he simply got tired of dealing with the constant sabotage behind the scenes.

We still live in our own bubbles like before the internet, just nitpicking footage and creating untrue narratives, but now we can make our bubbles much larger more easily with social media. He and Z are family, still, from his own mouth.

He did but he too suffered and ate it many times and did not speak up until he was well out of the business…. Sadly, he didn’t do much to prepare the world for someone like law Roach.

The media is always quick to attempt to cause drama between people who are close. The fashion industry try to put on the front that they are not racist, rude and judgmental. That is far from the truth. Law is a fashion genius. I always refer to Z being his muse. There is so much love between those two and I love it. Even with all of his accomplishments, people still don’t respect him behind the scenes. At some point in time he just got fed up. I hope he still continues to style some of our favorite ladies on the scene. 🙏🏾❤️ It was a treat to see him on the runway. Continued blessings for Law❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾💯💯
He has so much potential I think he should reconsider before really retiring. He obviously made this decision while still being upset. As they say, “Never make permanent decisions on temporary feelings”. I hope to see more of and from him ❤❤

I totally get where he’s coming from. Being in the service industry is humbling, specially in current times where everyone acts so entitled and purposely complain about petty stuff knowing they can get a refund. A lot of times it’s just posers and social media influencers who can’t even afford it, but they want to show off to their followers on Instagram. Those people go stay at fancy hotels, eat at boujee restaurants and expect you to be at their beck and call, then expect things for free or they’ll post a negative review. It’s so disrespectful to know you have the talent and you enjoy helping others, but when you’re just being abused and people expect it for free or they’ll ruin your business reputation, it all goes out the door and you stop enjoying what you do and what you’re good at. At that point it’s time to find new alternatives. Your pride and self worth are more important. I’m not saying don’t work and stay home collecting checks from the government, I’m saying we all need to have a job in the service industry at some point in our lives, but it’s important for one’s soul and mental health to have a sense of accomplishment and move on and up from something that no longer makes us happy.
Never heard of him but judging by the comments, he is very much loved and respected. Good for him to retire and find peace.

I’m sure he has suffered a great deal because he is definitely someone from the other side of the tracks with this immense talent. Many folks don’t like to see, or give folks their flowers in the fashion industry. But I do also believe this is a bit of a tantrum it should’ve been handled differently.
If you have ever work in this industry, you know exactly what he means. Horrible move LV. He picks the clothes your celebs wear. If he or any stylist isn’t in the show, guess who’s clothes wont be on their racks to wear….

He should have sat front row, but also retiring is a bit of an overreaction. Correct it and keep it moving. A better L would be ensuring Zendaya never wears Louis again, or have her confirm her attendance for every fashion show and never turn up.

I think it’s more then that though. He been in this industry for years and there are probably plenty of other things he encountered that has made this the tipping point of saying enough is enough. He is making a big deal over a seat at an event. That is a dumb reason to lose his income from styling celebrities. He is forgetting that the people hosting the event mainly care about the actors and actresses being in easy view of the camera. Stylists have importance, but do not generate as much attention as the celebrities that the events will reserve seats for. He could have searched for one of the event helpers and communicated with them his lack of a seat and they could have tried to find accommodations for him.
You should prove yourself and prove Zendaya you are better. This should challenge you. Do not retire.
