  • (28 Jul 2023) Homeless people are among the people most likely to die in the extreme heat in metro Phoenix. The city is seeing its longest run of consecutive days of 110 degree Fahrenheit (43 degrees Celsius) ever recorded, clocking 28 in a row as of Thursday. (AP Video by Thomas Machowicz. all those say they need to get a job, think about this - most places won't hire you if you don't have an address. also they don't have access to clean clothes or showers for months at a time. and this is only ONE person interviewed, you don't know his story or any of the others in tent cities.

I remember being in Benson in August. I thought i would pass out walking from the car to the door of the local Walmart and back again. I drove back to my in-laws and fell asleep on the bed. That sun took me out!!! So I can't even imagine what it feels like all day every day in those hellish temperatures.

      Stop trying to imagine it.
And stop your worthless virtue signaling.
Get off your ever-growing rear-end and go live in a tent on the hot pavement.
Then, and only then, you won't have to try to imagine what they go through.
But to make it more real, get yourself a drug habit that is slowly taking your life and throw away all your education above an 8th grade level.
Then add some prior arrests and bad morals to the mix Pour refined sugar on your teeth and never brush in order to cause gum disease and tooth rot.
But most of all, be comfortable sitting in your own filth.
      Then, blame the system.
Better yet, blame rich people because somehow their success made these knuckle-dragging people make bad choices. LOL.
      Toodles!

Edmonton, Alberta Canada has numerous tent communities too. Because they keep on getting ordered by police to move. Any extreme of weather is impossible for us humans to cope with all of the time without enough shelter, water and food. When we are suffering from exposure regardless of which extreme that is for sure a kind of temporary madness exists sometimes in which the person starts removing their clothing. That is an emergency. Not an occasion for someone to be taken advantage of.
