However history reflects on the business side of JWG and Chicago's relationship, their musical collaboration and union, IMHO, produced one of the greatest eras of composition and writing ever witnessed, in the 20th century and arguably, the whole history of music....👍

Great interview, Joe! I really could appreciate all that was said. I go back to seeing the Beatles on February 9, 1964 on Sullivan and have seen Chicago and BS and T at the Fillmore East in New York, many times. The Buckinghams were a great group as well, along with so many others. That was a great time to be alive for sure. Keep up the great work that you do, Joe. As a musician at 70 years old, I love what you do for music. Best of luck and most of all, good health to you and family…..Philip C.

Great interview! I learned quite a bit. I just wish the three of you would stop interrupting each other LOL . Thank you! I think I was born 15 years too late. I would have loved to have been an active musician at Caribou.

Thanks again Joe. Once again I’ve gotten to meet the talented producers and musicians from the greatest era in popular music ever and hear them tell some great behind the scenes stories. We’d never experience them if it wasn’t for your channel. Thanks from someone who would also stare a hole through Chicago’s albums.
    Your the best.
    Jim

It is always an education to hear these interviews and relive some of the music that was so impactful. First time I have heard anybody in many many years mention the Firesign Theater....they were on local radio here in S. Calif and were the absolute best, scripted or not...like these guys, I have lots of stories good and bad from all the work with various (as I finally ended up calling them) show biz sh...s. Time does soften the psyche, so now it is mostly just bemusement at all the antics we experienced...

What was that Ted Turner thing about?

Hi Brian… James needed satellites to air CMT. Ted Turner had all the satellites tied up so James had to find other means of airing his CMT channel. Thanks for watching, Joe
