- Just completed the E4 trail in the Peloponnese and on Crete! Here's my immediate thoughts on the trail.

Great achievement Ashley! I dont know any other people who have walked the E4 all the way from Spain to Cyprus.
It's a pity you missed out some parts of the E4 north of the Peloponnese in Greece. It's very different, much more wooded (more on johnpone4greece.blogspot.com/)
For others reading this, just to confirm there is a ferry (at least in 2019) from Gythio to Kissamos on a Wednesday, its easy to miss in search engines as it is primarily a ferry to serve the island of Kythira see www.kythira.info/en/ionis/

Hey Ashley! I had been waiting for a video for a video from Switzerland onwards to Hungary. Have you documented this stretch of the E4?
Hi Gareth. I'm sorry about the wait, I left the UK in March to hike from Vienna down to Cyprus and ran out of time to finish more videos of last year's trek before leaving. I'm heading home in a month's time so will hopefully have the next episode (Switzerland) finished in December. There will be a documentary video for each country along the E4, although I took my own customised route through Switzerland (through the Alps rather then the Jura) and through Romania.
@@AshleyGDean No worries man, loving the videoe. Have plans to hike from Gibraltar to Budapest in 2020 mostly on the E4. Would it be ok to send you message just to get your opinions on some stuff if you have the time?
