You need a drum sander! It was a bit of a luxury purchase for me, but I use it daily now.

Oh it's definitely on my list! I'd really like a wide belt sander but those are a bit expensive.

@@SpaltedStagStudio widebelt is cheaper in the long run, they are a lot faster use a lot less paper and they have a lot less time sanding after you run it through

I've also heard it is much better due to the fact it doesn't generate no where near the heat a drum sander does.

@@SpaltedStagStudio they don't and you can get a longer belt, they come in 60 and 75" lengths on some of them and they last a lot longer than the belts on a drum sander. plus you can change the belt in 30 seconds as compared to the aggravation of a drum sander
