To be fair this war has been a big strategic disaster for Russia both in the Black Sea as in the Baltic Sea. The blackmail of Europe with Russian gas also failed. I think it is reasonable to assume Russia will collapse in the near future. Just look at that Wagner mutany. A bit of land grab in de Donbass is not going to change that. It is the last thing Europe wants of course because that could even be worse than the Putin regime. That is why Ukraine is not really getting what it needs to defeat Russia while it would be easy to defeat russia at the moment.

The US has now spent 19.2% of its 2023 Defense Budget on Ukraine. The Total spent to date including the EU should be somewhere north of USD 280 billion and Russia is still conquering territory. It seems there is a lot of spending needed in Ukraine. May be another package of 400 billion should be sent to Ukraine and see if it may make a difference. All of this in the name of NATO expansion?

Although I am unfamiliar with this particular station, I am deeply dismayed by the suggestion of engaging in a proxy war over Ukraine. Moreover, it is essential to highlight that the conflicts in Ukraine and Afghanistan are fundamentally distinct. The United States dedicated two decades to active involvement in Afghanistan. Regrettably, the news report in question appears to lack accuracy and impartiality, failing to meet the standards of responsible journalism. As an unbiased observer, I had not anticipated encountering such a biased narrative. It would have been more appropriate for the station to strive for objectivity rather than exhibiting an anti-American stance. Ultimately, these circumstances give rise to concerns regarding an underlying inclination towards favoring Russia's victory.

Ukraine war was provoked by the US backed NATO which did a coup in ukraine in 2014, removed the president of ukraine and replaced him with zelensky. Putin wanted assurances that nato would not expand eastward and that did not happen, hence the war. Putin Himself suggested he was ready for peace talks but Boris Johnson talked the Ukrainians out of it. coming to palestine however, 450 Palestinian villages were cleared out by European settlers to create Israel, since then 33 massacres of Palestinians and a continued murder and land grab, in what universe is it fair then to support Israel who have now killed 15000 children in 6 months, by comparison the death of civilians in ukraine over 2 years is considerably low
